When I ordered I asked if they were willing to do a Black Forest cake, as no other bakery around me were willing to do it. They agreed, and delivered to me this beautiful cake. When I picked up the cake, I thought 'I hope this cake tastes as good as it looks' and boy did it! This was the first time I have ever had a perfectly moist cake from a bakery. Even the chocolate cake haters in my family admitted that this might be their new favorite cake. This cake was so good that if I were to ever move a few hours away, I would still make that travel to them in order to buy their cakes. This is now the only cake shop I will ever buy from, no doubt! Amazing customer service! I order through Facebook messenger and they replied back very quickly. Accommodating to my needs. Cake: strawberry shortcake with fresh strawberries inside. All buttercream frosting. The cake could have been a little more moist but i understood it had to be more firm to hold up. It was TaSTY! I didn't expect it to be very tall. I order 6 or 7 inches but it was more than that. I would recommend purchasing a cake or any baked goods there. read more

Sally makes the best cakes EVER! She made an absolutely beautiful and delicious cake for my mother's 80th birthday. Everyone absolutely raved about it! We chose chocolate with a raspberry filling, and it was heaven!!! For her birthday this year, Sally made a crazy cake with kit kats, reese's, and twix candy bars. We had her add Bailey's miniatures to it just for a hilarious gag! Our family laughed and laughed and laughed when they saw it!!! It was an all chocolate cake. Again, beyond delicious! Sally's is like a hidden gem! I looked everywhere for a real deal pound cake before stumbling upon this place in Tillman's Corner. Sally's pound cakes are seriously delicious. This is the best pound cake I have had since my Grandmother's! They even sell them in individually packaged sizes if you get a little craving. They are great for gifts too! Would not recommend this bakery even though this company came as a recommendation from a close friend. Unfortunately they where not able to use this company because of the time frame, my friend recommend them to me when it was time for my daughters birthday. I spoke with someone on the phone, they referred me to their Facebook page to send a picture of the cake and cupcakes. There was an exchange and I then went into the actually bakery to place order but wanted to get a final price, VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I'm very understanding that Ms. Sally was on a deadline for a wedding cake she was doing, but she was very dismissive and unconcern about a potential customer. Very uncomfortable feeling. Did not place the order went with another local barkers instead. There's a way to handle all situations and unfortunately this company choose to be RUDE AND DISMISSIVE. read more

I have always gotten my husband a chocolate dobosh torte for his birthday. This year I decided to try Sally's because we love her treats and she is so close to us in West Mobile, just off Government Blvd. This torte It was much better in our opinion, than the "other'" bakery we used to use...and not overly sugary sweet. read more
