Very strange that fajitas in Alabama get marinated in bbq in the first place, I've never really seen that in other states. The fajitas came out and they were a nice portion, but let's be honest most of the skillet was covered with vegetables. For $17 these days, I should have expected that. I was still able to make 3 nicely sized fajita tacos. Fajitas - the fajitas were edible, but coming from Texas.....the food here is nothing in comparison to fajitas or Mexican food in Texas. Firstly, they are using the wrong cut of beef. This fajita meat reminded me of my mom's pepper steak when I was young which used chopped round steak. Fajita meat must be at least skirt steak or better. The tortillas were obviously not homemade. In fact they were so bad, I could barely tell whether they were corn or flour.
