I love shopping at Sephora and typically there's great customer service but that does not apply to…read morethis location when Nas is working. I was told to wait in a certain area for an employee to help me locate a specific lip balm. Unfortunately, no one came, so when I spotted Nas nearby, I asked him for help. Instead of simply looking up the product, he proceeded to explain to me that he "knows the layout of the store" and insisted there was no possible way I had purchased this lip balm at Sephora a month ago and that I must be mistaken. I specifically asked him to look it up on his device, and he didn't. The entire interaction felt unnecessarily argumentative and condescending over something as simple as helping a customer locate a product. My friend then pulled out her phone, looked it up herself within seconds, and confirmed that the product was showing as in stock at Green Hills. Nas then walked away saying "one second," and shortly afterward began yelling across the busy store, "I found it! I found it!" rather than coming back to us or asking us to follow him. The store was packed, and I could barely even see where he was. I literally had to locate him by following his yelling. Once I got to the product, the shade I wanted was not on the display. It may have been stored underneath in the locked cabinets, but by then Nas had disappeared and never returned to finish helping me. After spending so much time insisting that I was wrong and that he knew the store layout, there was also no acknowledgment or apology when it turned out the product was exactly here in the store I said it should be. I ultimately had to find another employee, who was able to help me locate the shade I wanted. I was dissatisfied enough with the interaction that I planned to speak with a manager, only to find out from another employee that Nas is apparently one of the managers. That made the experience even more disappointing because with the kind of attitude he had he should be far away from management or front facing customer service roles but maybe he's not always loud and wrong. Regardless, the condescending and mansplaining approach was completely unnecessary.

This store does not put the "great" in Great Clips. I've been to this location once before in May…read more2026 and had a good enough experience. At that visit, I simply walked in, spoke with a VERY friendly person who signed me in, and then I waited for my name to be called. Silly me - I returned to this location today and walked in thinking that it would just as it did only months ago. WRONG. This time, I was "greeted" by a woman named Misty who immediately asked if I signed in online. When I told her no, she could've simply signed me and then explained that I could also sign in online, but nope. She then spent more time trying to tell me that they want customers to sign in online because it helps make their wait times look better because "they" are always watching and monitoring the stores wait times. She then told me that she could explain/show me how to sign in online and repeatedly referenced how it helps their wait times. At this point, I had become visibly irritated (she even commented that she didn't think it would "upset" me to tell me to sign in online). FYI - I wasn't upset that she asked me to sign in online. I was upset because rather than just taking a minute to check me in and THEN worrying about showing me how to sign in online for my next visit, she spent more time trying to get out of just entering my name on the wait list than it would've taken to just sign me up herself. She was clearly more concerned about corporate statistics than actually providing good customer service to the person standing in front of her. Perhaps someone from corporate might want to educate Misty that this store's very own website indicates that not only are walk-ins supposed to be welcome, they're also supposed to be able to walk in and out their name on the wait list. Thanks to Misty's less than tactful approach to this situation, I decided to find somewhere else and will not be returning.
