It was disturbing and very much not a relaxing experience to shop while being stalked by those awful girls. No class whatsoever--shame on you Ulta. I recently visited and was talking with Lisalee about an issue I'd had with an online order and not receiving one of my items in it, first time that's ever happened after years of a being a Diamond rewards member. Well she took it completely on herself to help me fix the issue! She didn't have to do that, and I was so appreciative to correct the issue with a live person, and such a sweet one at that. And while Lisalee is the cream of the crop, the entire team there is friendly, helpful, and honestly just a pleasure to chat with about brands. I will continue to frequent this store with any purchases I want to do in person, this is the kind of customer service which makes Ulta such a pleasure to shop at. Thank you team!

They always remember me, give great advice and give service that exceeds my expectations. The woman who appears to be the manager here always seems very stressed, angry to see customers and downright pissed to be doing whatever she is doing. She makes me avoid going into the store at all costs. I tend to stick to the pharmacy drive thru. The rest of the kids working the store are great, unless she is looming over them terrorizing them.

I came in wanting a silver blend with some of my blonde, and instead, I left after nearly 5 hours with hair that was overprocessed, unevenly bleached, had a blue tint, and nowhere close to the silver tone I requested. Despite bringing in clear inspiration photos (as any experienced client would), I was met with dismissiveness and ultimately charged $300 for a service that didn't come close to what I asked for. The stylist and front desk manager, Hollis, spent more time chatting than working, doubling the time this appointment should've taken. I didn't mind at first, until the results--and the price tag--became apparent. To make things worse, I skipped the blowout due to how long it was taking, which meant I didn't notice until the next day that my haircut wasn't done either. When I returned to have it fixed, Joslyn was apologetic, but Hollis accused me of not bringing pictures (which I did) and treated me like I was lying. My hair is now fried, I'm out $300, and I still don't have the color or cut I asked for. Extremely disappointing. Here is what I asked for vs. what I got.

He is always extremely careful about making sure that the customer is satisfied and that the hair is excellent. I just had my hair done by Bre for the first time and she holds the same standards for excellence and customer care. I've had long hair my whole life and I've always took pride in keeping it about as long as possible. When I first came to James I was concerned about having a stylist that would take off too many inches but he was extremely careful about making sure that he took off as much as I wanted and not anymore. Overall, a very friendly and caring place to go to get your hair done with a small-town type of comfort to it. Also the inside is very nicely decorated and clean. 10/10

The quality of the extensions, and the fact that I know my actual hair is being taken care of and not damaged, is amazing. I also have been getting lash extensions with Becca for 7 months or so and have never been happier with them. Her work is flawless, and my lashes look better than they ever have. With previous lashes I've had done, my lashes would be looking pretty rough by the time I went in for a fill - but now they will practically look brand new by the time I go on for my next fill. On top of this, the salon has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and is always extremely clean every time I have been. Highly recommend!
