We came for pins. The Ann Arbor MI location is such a crowded store & that's usually why we visit this location. More room to look. You know what are getting---cheap, expensive junk. It's like 1980 threw up. But the prices are insane for the terrible quality of items. We've washed items only to have them fall apart on the first wash--and not in the dryer either. But if you need kooky, that's the store. Another issue is if a price is listed on items, that's what it should be right? The label on the pin display states---buy two get one free. Great. But oh wait, I had the employee tell me that's an old sticker, that sale is not going on, & she can't move the sticker, well because it's a sticker & is stuck to the display case. Um, what??? That has been a sale for as long as I can remember. But, you can't cover up a sticker with a piece of paper? Or with another sticker of the same size? I would think, you are advertising the sale-it should be honored. But again, I know what type of store I was in. I took a pair of Birkenstocks in to be resoled. They sent them to a third party and they came back…read morewith new soles but the leather had been cut in the process. I took them back in and was told "they will either replace the leather or the shoe." I went to pick them up to find someone and put some glue on the leather which looked messy and who knows if it will hold. I asked for clarification and was told the initial repair person (who had cut the leather) was out of business so they had sent it to someone else. I reminded them of what I had been told when I dropped it off the second time and that was denied. I asked what could be done to resolve the issue and was told nothing could be done. They gave me the number for the person they said they had sent it to initially but when I called that person they denied having business with Millers. I stated I would no longer do business with them and the proprietor said "so now you are punishing me?" No- its called natural consequences for a lack of integrity and for not taking responsibility.
