I am so glad that Miller did not want my business today. After returning home, angry at the rude…read moreand condescending way I was treated, I decided to go through my closet. Lo and behold, I did find my "lost" boots and realized I had been wearing "last years model" for some time. Now I once again have the support and comfort I needed, without having to spend the several hundred dollars I was willing to dish out to the Shotwells. I should have looked at the various reviews first, instead of relying on this generational stuff where my parents were customers of the parents who once ran the store - and were probably very polite and more cordial back then.

I took a pair of Birkenstocks in to be resoled. They sent them to a third party and they came back…read morewith new soles but the leather had been cut in the process. I took them back in and was told "they will either replace the leather or the shoe." I went to pick them up to find someone and put some glue on the leather which looked messy and who knows if it will hold. I asked for clarification and was told the initial repair person (who had cut the leather) was out of business so they had sent it to someone else. I reminded them of what I had been told when I dropped it off the second time and that was denied. I asked what could be done to resolve the issue and was told nothing could be done. They gave me the number for the person they said they had sent it to initially but when I called that person they denied having business with Millers. I stated I would no longer do business with them and the proprietor said "so now you are punishing me?" No- its called natural consequences for a lack of integrity and for not taking responsibility.
