When we got to Jackson Furniture Outlet the first thing we noticed was how courteous the staff was. We got the couch we wanted and didn't even hear how we should go with a more expensive one. We knew what we wanted and they let us get that. They were great and let us look around instead of bothering us trying to get a sale. When I needed help though the employees were there to help. The storeroom itself is an old drafty building which doesn't make it very cozy and honestly lowered my expectations, but by the time I walked out of the door I couldn't have cared less about that. Warehouse isn't huge by any means and we were in to get a few twin beds for kids. It was easy to narrow down a choice among the selections they had. The salesman helping us (i wish i could remember his name right now) was laid back, very non-pushy, maybe to the extent you wonder if he wants you to stick around or just leave. He offered the step up mattress at the lower mattress price. Nice deal. We ordered and were told they'd be in that week. We planned to come back Sunday to get them on our way back from vacation. We were coming back from out of state and realized we weren't making it in time. I thought there was no way we should ask the salesman to stay, but my husband called and he told my husband no problem. In the end we were almost an hour past closing time and sure enough he was there waiting. He had no problem letting a couple of our kids come in to use the restroom. My husband tried to tip him but he declined, and asked we write a review if we were pleased. It's been a few months (about 5 now) and the kids still like their mattresses. No issues at all with them. I will definitely plan to return when we need another bed! So the warehouse might look a little run down and crammed, and the restroom even worse, but the customer service and product has been excellent! Nothing in the middle! This store has quality, at what I would call reasonable prices for such quality. The showroom is beautiful with a great selection and comprehensive illustrative materials for reference. Sanjay and Sean know their suppliers, and are excited about the pieces they represent. The pride in their stock is obvious. And, they are very helpful with tips regarding additional brands they have access to. We came in for a bedroom suite recently, and were dealt with fairly and honestly. Delivery does indeed take a long time, but I've heard similar quotes while shopping at other stores during this crazy covid time. Many of their suppliers are amish and make the furniture on spec, so it makes sense. We can afford to wait, so no biggie. It's all probably going to mean we visit there again soon for our living room, too. If I remember, I'll update once we get delivery.
