Once again, another review for terrible customer service. We have only been to this store a few…read moretimes but every time, it's trashed. The isles have the paper from inside the shoes everywhere. And the employees just follow you around. It's Jackson MI-what do you expect. Today was no exception. When there are at least 3 people working, and a huge check out line---open another register! There was only 1 person checking people out! Really? It's crazy back to school parents! And yeah, most of the sizes we needed were gone. But it was just the rude employees. Even the guy that seemed like the manage was not friendly. I don't get it. It's a national chain. I know what comes with this job---it's not so you can pay on your monthly yacht bill. But, if you have employees that can't do the bare minimum at their place of employment, you will lose customers to other stores just due to that. That was me today. The entrance is kind of hard to find though; it is on the north end of the building near JC Penney's and there's a closed storefront that is misleading to thinking the place is closed. I have never been treated so disrespectfully at a retail store. My husband, myself and my son…read morestopped in to do some back to school shopping, but I also had an Amazon return. The store recently remodeled, so now all purchases, returns & Amazon returns are at the same area. I have done Amazon returns recently, and learned that they are completed at register 1 only, and the other associates handle kohls purchases & returns. There was one person in line, and I asked them if they were doing an Amazon return, and they said no. I then asked them if I could go ahead as they are only done at register one, which they agreed. and approached register one. I asked the associate named Kevin is this where you do Amazon returns, he said yes. But you need to get back in line and wait your turn. And told me to go back to the line, to which I did and more people joined the line. I then waited my turn, another 5-7 minutes, and Kevin did not assist any customers during that time. I was called to register 8, and told them I was doing an Amazon return, and they told me I needed to go to register 1, where Kevin told me he cold now assist me. I asked him why he couldn't assist me previously, when he never assisted any other customers while I waited in line. He said he was not going to help a non paying customer before a paying customer. That was extremely disrespectful and I let him know I spent plenty earlier in the day and was back to spend more. He scanned one of my barcodes, and told me I was done and was annoyed when I told him there was 2 separate items. I asked him to get me a manager as I was not happy with how I was being treated. He told me he was the manager, and the only one working, even though his name badge did not say manager. I told him I wanted the number to customer service and told me I could look it up online. I told him to write it down for me. He refused and stormed away from the desk. I never received my Amazon return confirmation and do not even know if it was completed. I'm so frustrated. They obviously don't care about their customers. I do a lot of Amazon returns there, and almost every-time I buy clothes for my family

Caleb and Hayley helped me out, and these people deserve raises!…read more Hayley was very welcoming and helped me ease in to the whole process of getting the suit I wanted to the tee. This was huge for me because I don't dress up, and I don't care to, but a wedding kind of calls for it! Anyways, she made me less anxious about the whole process. Caleb had a very calm but serious demeanor, and I could tell that he really cares about making sure you like the way you look. He remeasured me a few times on my waist and asked me how i normally wear my pants to make sure the slacks would fit right when I come in for my pick up. Amidst all of this, they were dealing with other customers while it was just the two of them, and worked together well as a team. There was one person who had an issue with their pick up, and the two of them jumped on the issue immediately while the system processed my order. I would've probably given a lower review if not for these two, but their service made up for the managers short comings.
