They're very polite and knowledgeable and genuinely like to help you. A few of the girls here are quieter and introverted but even they're fantastic. A+. I ended up returning a moisturiser that was breaking me out and they gave me a refund right away and also offered to help me find something better. I walked out with a bunch of free samples. They're very generous with their samples here. The products themselves are a case-by-case basis. I've bought Cosmetic Warrior a few times and the consistency is always a little different. Overall I've liked 9/10 of the products that I've used.

WORTH IT. My…read moreboyfriend and I had a little date here yesterday, getting full-on facials for the first time ever! This space's entrance is on Sheridan Street, so don't feel bad if you went to the shop on Dundas first, like us. It's just a two second walk away! They did a great job turning this lower-floor space into a dreamy zen sanctuary. When you get in, they give you time to get settled, have some tea, water, go to the washroom, etc. Much appreciated! I filled out a form where I mentioned I was concerned about my furrowed brow and my facialist was very kind to address it immediately, explaining everything and how she would show me techniques to use at home. For a first time facial, it was everything I wanted it to me. Relaxing, not too invasive and I felt like I was learning a lot about my skin while thinking about it new ways. Not only was it a great facial, but I was so happy to go home with a custom mixed facial oil for a new way to And moisturize! And lots of samples! And they emailed me afterwards to re-explain what everything is! She gave me a lot to play with and if I like something (I am sure I will), then I will be back in a flash to purchase a larger bottle! Thank you, Province Apothecary.

What a miracle worker. She was so kind and friendly, and despite what this building looks like on the outside, she and the lobby were most welcoming. I was already in love with the natural products being offered by Province Apothecary, but now with these gentle natural services as well - I'm head over heels! I'm on a student budget for now, but next chance I get, I definitely plan to return for a facial with her and may even try some of their naturopathic services in the future.

I will give this a try and see...It seemed naturalish and seems perfect for asian eyes. It also came w/ the glue too and was priced at $24.00 for two pairs. They had a nice selection of beauty products. Anything from cream, makeup, lashes, eye tape, OPI nail polish, masks, etc. Also a sale section at the back. The sales girl seemed somewhat disinterested (maybe it was too late at night?) but did somewhat help me pick the lashes. I was curious as I saw a room at the back and found out they also did mani/pedis, facials and eye lash extensions. But she didn't seem too interested in telling me more about it. Well that's fine. I will just go somewhere else.

Not cramped aisles like other stores. Major plus on having enough staff around that you can easily get assistance when needed. Plus they have a few brands you won't find in Sephora like a brand from Iceland, Darphin etc. By chance I picked up one of those magnifying mirrors (18x magnification) and scared myself shitless! Do i really look like that up close?! Ughh...i thought I plucked my eyebrows pretty decently. Well oh my..not even close to a decent job! I ran all the way to the counter to pay for my mew best friend. I remember they used to have a brow bar where you could get your brows done but I don't recall seeing it this time. The face cream I use can ONLY be purchased at Holts and since I purchase mine from Yorkdale, the location is a bit far from my home. If only Murale carried my cream... Having said that, Murale for me carries nothing out of the ordinary (Chanel, Nars, Clarins, etc...). Because I have been using my cream for many years, any new products would just fly by me. Murale does carry a lot of new brands I don't see anywhere else so if you are into trying new products, Murale would not be a bad stop. Later in the night, I went on their website and checked out all the products they carry - that is a good start to see if the store carries your particular brand. The ONE thing I love, of course, is the fact that you can redeem your Optimum points, and because some of the products here range $200-$300, it would be great to save up all your points and splurge here. Not sure if it would be a good idea, but Murale does a lot of makeup sessions, and I have always wanted to try the Chanel seminar. This is a place I wouldn't come out of my way, but it is nice to drop in when in the area. The sales associates are always keen to help and super smiley. *Note: the 2 images I downloaded from Google Images just to show examples of the exterior and interior store.*

I have gotten so fed up with being limited at the nearby salons and price gouging that goes on for professional hair care products. I was having a difficult time finding a specific product that my salon ran out of and couldn't offer me an ETA on when it would be back. All I got was "backordered" "supply issue". Just by doing a simple Google search with the name of the product, my very first hit brought up Cosmetic World. Honestly, of all the times I have looked for stores that sell my salon products, this was the first time I had heard of this store. I looked through the site, read some reviews and I was ready to order! I had no trouble ordering the product that I couldn't find anywhere in York Region. PLUS the price was almost $5 less per bottle than what I was paying at my salon, so I stocked up! AND got free shipping! I was able to easily track my order and get notifications. I ordered on a Saturday and my order arrived the following Wednesday with no issues. Quick & easy to order and fast delivery. I will def use them again to shop online and try in store as well. I was amazed at the variety and selection of hair colour & hair care products, nail, bath and beauty products that they sell. I wont be buying anymore products at the salon!
