Lots of interesting things on offer but all the packaging looks the same so it's hard to really understand what everything is, but the staff are friendly and happy to help explain everything. My only negative is that I wish they had more products that I like to use, like shampoo and conditioner, and different options for body wash. The shampoo and conditioner they have are non-sudsing 2-in-1s and I'm not into that, and I'm not a huge fan of the scent of the forest body wash. If you haven't tried Deciem, I'd totally recommend it. This location is way less hectic than the Distillery District one but it's also smaller. I tend to shy away from any product that says mask because I don't like how most masks don't fit on my face and I can't really do much while wearing it for the fear that it'll fall off my face. I was especially concerned because this was a sleeping mask, and my thought was that it was a mask like the ones mentioned above and I had to wear it at night. I sleep on my side. Anything wet I have to put on my face is going to get all over my pillow. Not cool. However, this kind of sleeping mask replaces my moisturizer step and goes on like lotion. It soaks into my skin before I go to sleep, which means nothing gets on my pillow. Huzzah! I like how I can feel the moisture absorbing into my skin. I also like how my face feels firmer when I wake up (should this be a concern when I'm this young?) Great service here. Ladies seem to really know what they're talking about. They're super helpful. Bonus. They have a point system thing where if you collect enough points, you get discounts/free items. The point system is also helpful to figure out what you previously bought. Service is good enough that they'll check your previous history at checkout and they'll let you know if the lines of products you've been using have been updated.

It was so quick! It wasn't busy at that time either which was great. I know this brand does not work for everybody, since i'm a beauty lover for everything - i always suggest to do your research on product, review, issues and price budgeting. I was skeptical at first but because i have a relative who uses products from this store and she has similar face concerns as i do - i gave it a try. It really did the work for me! Inglot is a little like MAC, in that the system is mostly modular. The company's term is "freedom system", but they basically sell singles (eyeshadows, face powders, blushes, concealers, etc) and their own brand palettes to put the singles in. All the pans and palettes are magnetic. The system is nice because each person basically can customise exactly what they'd like. You know those makeup palettes that you bought for that one colour, on which you have hit pan and love dearly, and the rest of the palette has barely been touched? Yeah, I know we've all been guilty. That problem doesn't exist at Inglot. Their products are also pretty high quality (I believe some professional makeup artists use Inglot). They also have tools such as makeup spatulas, flat metal palettes, sponges and other applicators, train cases and storage... in short, everything I need to pretend I'm a professional and I know what I'm doing. My one problem here is the condition of the testers. Obviously I know it isn't realistic to expect them to be pristine, since all sorts of customers will be sticking their hands in them, but some were downright gross. The cream products especially--these sticky kind of products naturally trap dust and hairs, and some also had large chunks missing. The sales associate was also a bit hovering, which always makes me uncomfortable, but some may prefer having someone there to answer questions. I guess it's a matter of personal taste, and I can definitely overlook it for the great products in the store.

So again I can't get the product I need or want. I'm ready to give up on this brand as MAC never treats their customers like this. I really liked the moisturizer so I dropped in yesterday to pick the full sized bottle. It's quite pricey just for moisturizer but it's the best moisturizer I've ever used! The same staff member helped me out and gave me another sample for me to try. When the transaction was finished, she came around the counter with my purchase. You rarely see that happen! The only other store that does that is Aritzia, from my shopping experiences.

At this moment, they're heavily marketing their 'fair trade/organic/(insert your green friendly trendy marketing play' scents and I saw they had a lychee blend scent. This store is off the Sherway Gardens centre and it's a nice open space that has all their products displayed neatly. Their store staff is quite attentive and very persuasive to try new items that you didn't even consider before walking into the store. I think it helps they were very generous with their samples and also very pleasant/complimentary throughout the experience. I'm not sure if it's the lighting or magic mirrors either but it seems their 'skin illuminating' serum worked inside the stores. The quality of the items is far above anything you can get at Shoppers Drug Mart. It's on par with most brands you find at Holt Renfrew(they also sell Kiehl's there too). With that, you pay quite more for these little vials of magic potions and lotions. Most items here are $50 ++ and the nice little lychee fragrance I liked is $62! It's not outrageous but certainly expensive. Their avocado eye cream is an old favourite of mine and though it seems outrageous to pay $35 for a tiny pot, it's one of the best no-fuss eye creams that work. Overall, great service and solid products make this brand worthwhile to look at. It also helps the service here is knowledgable, helpful, and very personable. I highly recommend coming here over Holt Renfrew to buy Kiehl's as they're better informed and better equipped with samples!
