This store has multiple aisles of products for hair, skin, and nail care for women, men, and children. Styling hair comes in multiple colors, sizes, lengths, and textures with wigs, hairpieces, human hair, crocheting hair, braids, and bundles to choose from. The employees are helpful and knowledgeable about their products without trying to upsell you to buy more. A few of the wigs and bundle packs require employee assistance. The store also carries earrings, sunglasses, clothing, shoes, purses, hair accessories like barrettes and flowers, tights, stockings, and they have body oils based from different perfumes. The cologne/perfume tubes are small and can easily fit in a pocket or purse along with the other purse sized beauty items and last minute needs.

Four Stars -- Great Service, But the Fragrance Process Needs Work…read moreI visited the Cordova location on a holiday weekend Saturday morning, and honestly, they held it together pretty well given how crowded it was. Kudos to the team for keeping up with the rush -- customer service was exceptional. I came in with a mission: find the perfect Burberry fragrance for my mother. Yes, Sephora is pricey, but Mom is worth every penny and then some. The selection was fair -- not overwhelming, but enough to work with. My one real frustration was the fragrance shopping process. There are no fragrances available on the floor -- you have to request them, and an associate has to retrieve them from a drawer. I completely understand why (people can be dishonest, and theft is real), but the execution is a bit clunky. It feels like shopping for shoes -- you pick a few options, they go check the drawer, and more often than not your size... er, fragrance and size... isn't available. If you go one at a time, it becomes a huge time drain. By the time they're back with an answer, they've already moved on to the next customer, and you barely have a moment to regroup and think through your next choice. I'd suggest requesting several options at once to save yourself some back-and-forth. The store layout and organization are the standard Sephora setup, so no surprises there. Despite the fragrance process being a bit of a puzzle, I found what I was looking for and I would definitely return. Just go in with a game plan!

It's not the biggest beauty supply store but you can find what you need here. The annoying young staff is probably way more tolerable than the typical Asian store beauty supply owners who want to search your bag and always think somebody is trying to steal, though! They didn't have the color wig I wanted in the back so they gave me the one off the mannequin and gave me a percentage off. I'd go back if I'm in the area (I live nowhere near) but wouldn't especially make a trip here.

But she chewed me out in front of everyone in the salon, during which all employees and customers stopped what they were doing to listen, offered only 20 minutes (do they not build in a few extra minutes for changing clothes and such?), then when I declined, stormed out. My friend and I decided we did not feel comfortable staying for manicures and pedicures, so we went elsewhere. I really tried to give the benefit of the doubt. Later I attempted to speak with the owner/manager and explain that I felt we were treated poorly. She said she was standing there the entire time, we were late, we should have called (five minutes, really?), and chewed me out AGAIN. I told her she had just lost two people's hair business on top of the other business. She said she wasn't going to listen to it, and she hung up on me. I had one witness to the incident in the store and three to the phone conversation. Nobody could believe it. I tried very hard to make this right, to give the benefit of the doubt, but apparently this is how they do business. If you want to be treated with respect, I strongly advise you go elsewhere. I can accept that I was a few minutes late, and that was my fault (we thought we knew where it was, but we did not exactly), but all of that information could have been communicated in a professional and courteous manner instead.
