I had just arrived at Amanda Hill's studio where we were doing a pin-up shoot. I had been following the Memphis Bombshells on Facebook and really wanted to have some photos like that before I turned 30 (eeeek!!). I had seen Stephanie's work before (both hair and makeup) via Amanda and I knew this chick was a genius so I bit the bullet. Plus, you know that feeling you get when you just *know* someone is cool? Well, not only is she cool but I *knew* Stephanie was a hair/makeup genius the moment I walked in the door. It was love at first sight and now I've had her do my hair and makeup for 3 shoots. She has done vintage to contemporary and I've loved it all. I would hire her to do my makeup and hair every day if I could afford it because it is no coincidence that my dates go way better when I see them after I see her...but this is still not how she changed my life. She changed my life when I booked her for a makeup lesson. I asked her to teach me how to contour my face (aka make it look thinner - hello Kim Kardashian, thanks for introducing me to this concept) and not only did she do that (in the privacy and convenience of my own home I might add)...but she told me about filling in my eyebrows.
