Good store. Not our mainstay but in a pinch it will do. Not a neighbor shop but everybody knows what Sally's is.

The young workers at this store are incredibly unprofessional. The young Hispanic cashier was on a phone call on speaker with a man that was screaming obscenities - he said and I quote "long dick" while the entire store could hear. There was even a young child in the store at the time. Sally management in this location really needs to have a sit-down with their employees because this is not a good representation of Sally Beauty Supply. read more

I had such an awesome experience at this location. They always seem to be fully stocked unlike the one in Belleville on Joralemon. I came in while one of the workers were going out. She not only held the door but also greeted me. I got exactly what I needed and the cashier asked if i was ready. I placed my items on the counter and gave her a $5 coupon I had. I was so delighted when she was able to take off another discount for me. And as much as I go to Sally's, I greatly appreciated that. read more

Extremely well stocked, but a wee bit over priced depending on what you are purchasing.These are the pros and cons in no order. Economy sized containers of shampoo/conditioner are great, a cute selection of different eyelashes and styles. They could have done better with the hair products when it came to specialty pieces like braided head bands, and things to aide up dos.. because reasons like that is why I went there, and was totally what they were lacking. They also didnt have a lot of barettes nor diamond studded type of combs that you stick in the side of your hair or that assist with a french roll. They did have alot of nail polish, manicure sets, various colors, and hair extension type clip ons and ins though. They had a bunch of no frills make up that looked so cheap like it would sweat off and evaporate into your pores after an hour. I dont think any one buys make up there, it appeared extremely low quality. The sales people were really friendly and nice. The store carries lots of male products- scored some stuff for my fiancee too .. but over all it was a bit lacking. Could have been alot better for a beauty supplier. Step it up Sally! read more

I went on a Sunday(yesterday) and their product selection was a bit light and picked over. I walked around for 10 mins without an associate asking what If I needed any help. After I made my selection and went to the register the cashier was making funny of her previous customer(RUDE). The cashier rang up my product and it came up a dollar more than what was marked when I mentioned it to her she made a face and said "no you misread that's the member price" Before I could walk over and check she finished ringing me up and handed me my bag. I told her I wanted to check the price and she sighed as I walked over to go see. I read the price out to her and she sent over another associate to check out what I was looking at. When the second associate confirmed the price my cashier was like look I don't have time to argue with you I'll give it to you for that price. WHOA!! Crazy rude right! Normally I would have responded to her rudeness but I let it go knowing I would send an email to corporate! After she refunded me the original purchase she then proceeded to hand me an empty bag, when I said it was empty she looked at me crazy then said "no it's in there" as though I wasn't holding the empty bag. She spotted the dye on her register and just said oh and handed me the bottle, no apology or anything. It was the worst service ever and I did write corporate an email about the associate and I will try to avoid this Sally's location with all cost! read more

This is in a good location and offers a nice selection of products. The staff is friendly and the strip mall offers lots of parking.

The manager on site for the day honored my warranty and exchanged my product with no hesitation instead of sending it to the waehouse

This place is awesome. At first I didn't like it because my products were always sold out. But they got it together. Most of the staff is nice and helpful and there's one with curly hair and glasses who is always nice and finding ways to give free items and discounts. She's very sweet. read more

The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The store often gets quite busy, so getting someone's undivided attention is not always easy, but the staff is always happy to give very useful advice - as soon as the check-out line lightens up. Lots of wonderful products; good parking. read more

I live closer to the Sally's in Hackensack but I sometimes go to this one as it is close to my job. Twice I have tried to use a coupon at this location that was sent to me via Sally's email list and there has been an issue each time. I used to work in retail, so I know to read my coupons clearly to make sure there are no exclusions, whether its an in store or online coupon, etc. The first time I tried to use an email coupon at the Bloomfield location, they told me they could not accept it (the register wasn't ringing it up and the manager wouldn't override it even though the coupon clearly stated that it was for in store and good for the date I tried to make the purchase). On this particular occasion, I received an email for 20% off of an entire purchase in store or online. I picked up four items and the total came up to about $24. The cashier scans my coupon and $.32 was deducted. Any idiot knows that that is no where near 20% off my total. I asked the cashier and she shrugs her shoulders and says "Well that's all it took off." I told her that that was incorrect and could she override that amount, so she goes to get her manager. Basically, it took ten minutes for the manager to come and correct the amount, but she had to call "Corporate" to override it, she couldn't do it on her own. I've never heard of a store manager having to call out to get permission to give a discount that was clearly stated on the store's coupon, but whatever. After all of this, when I left the store I realized that they charged me full price for a product that was on sale according to the signage on their shelves. I won't be returning to this Sally's, I'll stick to their Hackensack location, where I never have a problem getting sale prices or using coupons. read more
