Didn't look like much when we drove by but they have great burgers, excellent servers and it was a beautiful evening.

This place is a reminder not to judge a book by its cover, don't want to call this a greasy spoon because there was nothing greasy about the food. Quaint and clean. The food was sooo good! Eggs, hubby's scrambled and mine over medium, were perfectly cooked. The sausage patties were delicious; nice crisp sear on the outside and tender in side. Best execution of hash browns I've ever had at any restaurant. The rye bread toast.... To make this place even better, the service was incredible. Wish I had gotten their names to give them the proper appreciation, both were attentive and friendly. Sad they are so far away, best breakfast ever!

I looked up diners and Yelp came through with this spot! When you're pulling up the the location you wouldn't think that there's a bomb breakfast spot in the area but OMG this place is fantastic! Small hole in the wall type spot but everything wad great. Solid stream of folks coming in and glad we beat the rush before it was a 30-40 min wait! Service, the sweetest servers! Charming and just overall nice, you know you're being taken care of with them. Renee made great recommendations and we got an omelet (forgot which one...it was a supreme/something omelet towards the top of the menu) and my hubby got a club sandwich! Omelet was cooked perfectly and they were not cheap on the meat! My hubbys club sandwich was HUGE! You must get the loaded hash browns, they are incredible!! Will definitely come back!

Rambling Jacks Rib Eye - Our Always-Stop Spot on the Way to Seattle…read more We stopped in for a late breakfast on our drive to Seattle and, as usual, it did not disappoint. My husband ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and I went with the Ranch Hand scramble. We split both (highly recommend doing this if you can't decide), and the portions were so generous that more than half of my scramble came home with us. What's impressive is that with portions this big, you'd expect something to give on quality -- but not here. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is part of what keeps us coming back. The restaurant has that cozy, rustic charm and there's a cute little gift shop up front that's impossible to walk past without browsing. This time we grabbed some Valentine's white chocolates to take on the road -- such a fun touch. This has become one of our must-stop traditions to and from Seattle, and it's consistently worth it every single time.

The service was great. The women who took care of us treated us like family. I had an oyster Po Boy, my wife had the French dip, and kids shared a chicken strip basket. All the food was fresh, hot, and crispy! The pie. I was not disappointed! We grabbed a coconut cream pie, which we love, and they gave it to us for free because it wasn't the normal slice size they offer, which is huge by the way. We also got the strawberry rhubarb, which was divine. The crust is to die for. The perfect texture and perfectly salted crust paired perfectly with the large scoop of vanilla ice cream. This spot is a hub for its community and the story it has is beautiful. Support local. Support your fire department. If you're passing through Brinnon, make sure to stop and grab your slice of pie!

A couple of tables in a darkened extra room with full and empty boxes. The tables in the main diner were okay but the seats were horrible. There is nothing I hate worse than sitting to eat and the seats cause my chin to rest on the table. It was so awkward. The diner ceiling... I have no words. And there was grime, dirt, old food, etc just caked everywhere. I am not sure I would go back unless it was food to go.
