He came by literally 45 minutes after calling, clambered all over roof, sent me clear photos and gave me a verbal description of what needed to be done regarding my Spanish tile/membrane roof. Verbal price broken down to 2 options - cleaning only or full reset (replace broken tiles/elastic paint 2 coats of membrane) - I accepted full one verbally, he said Monday AM start and the written estimate was in my email that evening. By Thursday noon job completed which clearly was needed and more extensive than initially thought - as an example replacement of 70 broken tiles turned into 150, a plugged roof drain for who knows how long was cleared, bags and bags of debris were collected and disposed of - a totally mess that came off roof on 4 sides was cleaned. The final bill didn't change - tipped his crew extra as it was clearly rough work due previous owner's years of neglect. Dominick came out a few days later for an inspection and identified we had some issues with the drain on the flat roof. He thoroughly explained the process on how they would remedy it while also identifying some other potential issues we might soon experience on some other sections of the roof. We received a proposal for repair a few days later and the price, while not cheap, was not outrageous. We signed the contract and were in the schedule shortly after. Day of the repair came and everything went very smooth. Upon opening the drain area they found some rotten lumber which they furnished me photos of. They replaced the bad lumber and had the drain repaired that day while also doing some other patching on some other areas and doing preventative maintenance. Rains came not long after the roof was repaired and we had no leaks! Highly recommend BYLTup!!!
