Not sure how their prices work. Got two salads and two ice teas for $41. The salad was fine, fresh but certainly nothing earth shattering. Maybe they have the most expensive tea in the world. Not sure but not a real good value when looking for a quick healthy lunch. read more

My family was craving salads and came here for dinner! The regular sized salads are really great portions. You can add fruits and veggies to your hearts content, and there are lots of proteins to choose from. I also love their croissants! My sister got a wrap and was very happy with it. I get lemon juice as the dressing for lower calorie and I feel like if ties my whole salad together. Would be pricey if I went everyday, but once in a while it's so good and so worth it! read more

First, the salad is still good. The restaurant side has gone beyond downhill. It's always pleasant to have to choose your table based on "least disgusting ". In the 30-35 minutes we were in-house, not a single staff member could be bothered to wipe down a single table. Nor clean the dropped food off the floor. The ice teas - all three flavors - ran out and the staff refused to make more "because it's close to closing." Clue: 6:45 - 9 pm close is over TWO HOURS. Salads don't thrill me, yet I have been curious about Salata since they opened quite some time back. We tried it a few weeks back then went again last week. I'm a huge fan! The restaurant itself feels airy and clean, so that is a great start. It is basically a salad bar, but they put everything in the bowl instead of having you do it. You start with the size - regular, small or wrap. I got a regular during our first visit, and quickly discovered that a small was plenty. My fiancé agreed, and we both ordered smalls on our next visit. Once you have decided on a side, you choose your greens (and you can mix them). There are 5+ greens to choose from, so quite a good selection. You move through the line choosing your veggies, fruits, nuts, cheeses, dressings, etc. They say there are over 50 toppings and I can totally see that after going through the line only once. Once you have made your selections, they mix it all together with the dressing and it is delicious! Why don't salads taste that way when I make them at home?! They have a few choices of breads and I wholly recommend the multigrain croissant. I would go back just for that - it was that good! They have a tea bar, which I have never seen before - several choices of iced tea. I am a huge fan of the plum cinnamon. Add a little Splenda, and I'm all set! Come to think of it, I don't think they even had any kind of soft drinks. So Salata gets two thumbs up from me. I will be back soon! read more

Meats, fruits, veggies, nuts, etc. I loved being able to choose what I wanted in my salad. There are endless combinations you can try. I will definitely be back. read more

My review rating is based on many factors and mainly VALUE. For the area, you can drive within a 1-2 mile radius and achieve the same thing as you can at Salata for roughly half the cost. Market Street, for example, has an extensive and fresh salad bar where you can load your favorite items onto your salad (including chicken, turkey or ham) and pay by weight as well as eat in the establishment. All for half the cost. Should you decide to add a roll, you add cents to your bill. You can also choose one of many organic/healthy drinks offered in the store or purchase a soda, and still come in a good $2-3 under Salata. The service would be the same, the quality would be the same. With Whole Foods dangerously close, Salata may want to revise their costs. My husband and I had two large salads ($8)(weren't offered the small option, were new and felt the overwhelming pressure of reading the entire wall mounted menu in under 10 seconds!) with chicken added ($3) (seafood was more), 1 cup of soup added to the salad meal ($3), 1/4 avocado added to the salad ($1) and one lemonade (no fountain drinks available, which is fine). Our total bill was $28... FOR SALADS. Tax is included in all prices, so all checks are rounded off and you pay after the assembly line makes your meal. The chicken was cut into chunks too large to eat in one bite, several people were asking for knives. However, it was moist and seasoned nicely - even though the seasoning I chose (pesto) didn't go well with my salad. The salad was the same kind of salad I make for myself at Market Street, except this salad cost me $12 the way I had it made here, and I could make it all the same and buy an ENTIRE avocado at Market Street, sit and eat it just like I did here, for $8 total. The tomato basil soup was sub par (and VERY creamy), I will not be ordering any soups from them again, they don't look (or taste) fresh, unfortunately. For $12, I'll be going to Seasons52 for a fresh gourmet salad, or I'll go to Market Street and include a dessert and a bowl of their in-house made green chili chicken soup. Great location, Salata... But if you want to sell $12 salads, make it blow people's minds. I have paid more for less (quantity) and been extremely satisfied. Unfortunately, Salata missed that mark. read more

Salata is amazing, it's like chipotle because you can build you own salad, except with a lot more options and total customization. I ordered a large salad with half spring mix and half romaine, added a ton of vegetables and did not get any meats because it was an additional $3 for meats and $4 for seafood. With such a delicious salad the only down side I could find was the price. My salad cost a little under $10 and I didn't have any meat in it. The reasoning for my 3 star review is because, while the salad was delicious, I could just as easily go to whole foods or any grocery store nearby and purchase a larger salad with protein for half the cost. Like Kara K, the "value" of the food is very important and can't be overlooked. But, if you don't mind shelling out $10 for a salad then this is your place, everything is delicious and you get a free drink with a yelp check in! read more

If you are craving a salad, this is definitely the place to go! The food tastes great and is so fresh. You are able to fully customize your salad with whatever toppings you want. It is a bit on the more expensive as I paid 18$ for a regular salad (with chicken) and water. One thing I do want to note is I'm not too sure how they clean their vegetables or if they do for their bases. In my salad, I got the long butt/ root end of a romaine head and was kind of thrown off by it. I would assume those pieces are thrown away when prepping the vegetables since it is hard to clean in between the leaves that are attached to the bottom. read more

My husband has been wanting to eat a lot healthier and just wanted some salad for our eat out day. We looked up Salata. I wasn't sure what we were getting ourselves in to since it's super new to eating healthy. I'm amazed on how amazing my salad came out even when I just added whatever was there that my eyes were drawn too. So many choices so many ways to make a salad wow! Just not comfortable or what you get normally in suburbs. 5/5 selection of items. Ingredients looked and tasted fresh. 2/5 I received 3 bean sprouts when I asked for them. The face of server was frightening when she grabbed 3 little strings. Made me uncomfortable. 3/5 service. Very rushed through line. Fresh food but expensive. Different sizes for salad but three small salads with a bill over $40 and then tipping on top of that the 15-30 percent selections on the register... a bit much. Protein is extra, understandably... but quinoa being an added protein costs seems a bit off- I'd assume it would be grouped as a topping. Tea selection was really good and food was fresh but I'd prob consider this fast food- yet the price doesn't meet that criteria. My husband and I love this place. They serve a huge variety of salad toppings, and everything is always fresh and tasty! It is a little pricey but worth it for a quick, healthy option. We just ordered two small salads with extra shrimp (5 regular or 10 with extra shrimp) and avocado ($1 upcharge for 1/4 avocado) for $30 including tax and a $2 tip. You can get salads (small or large), wraps (all the same topping options) and soup. I've never tried their soups but they look delicious. This is definitely one of our go-to lunch places. Definitely worth a try if you're in the mood for a healthy salad! read more

Just so glad this exists! There is such a need for healthy, good food at the right price. Salata is it. While there menu is limited this is to be expected. This is basically Chipotle but as a salad bar. The quality ingredients and every changing taste of the month are both wonderful. I wish this was found in more places! I would love to see some even healthier items added: 1 non cow diary such as almond cheese and goat/sheep cheese. Secondly I have asked the ownership at several stores to reconsider their salad dressings to remove the nasty canola oil and move to Olive oil base. They accepted my input and said they would look into it. read more

Went to this specific Salata and was truly disappointed. The portions of the salads mixes, the toppings, the protein... I was given the smallest amount of everything I asked for. I can't tell you how much money my family and I have spent at this location over the past two years and we've never had a problem until today. I hadn't been in a few weeks and I didn't recognize any of the regular staff so maybe that's the problem, maybe these are new workers. But there was nothing welcoming about the experience at all.Before I even got a chance to say that I want to avocado and artichoke on my salad the server had already walked over and placed my salad down so it could be rung up. $13 is a lot to pay for a salad but we do it because of the food and the environment. My new favorite place! So glad I found a quick and easy way to grab a fresh salad anytime I want one. I go here weekly and sometimes more than once lol They have every topping you could imagine and you can put one or all on yours. They also have a variety of lettuce, spring mix, kale, soni spinach, etc... Avocado and meat is extra. They have a ton of meat choices, chicken, seafood, etc... They will mix the dressing in or leave it on the side. They do Togo or you can eat there. Top it off with nuts, croutons, bread, pita chips, they also have what it artichoke for a dollar extra. Four stars will be changed to five stars when they at least start rotating out one soup every day or week...something. It's always the same and you need at least one that is the soup of the day or week. Also the soups look NOT fresh but boxed or canned... You have an amazing ability to make fresh healthy soups.
