Here I am again, 11 years later. What's good? I guess this place has made it 11 years. What's funny? The prices haven't changed, and it's likely how they've stayed open this long; margins have to be phenomenal. 1 wrap (Southwest Wrap, no customization), 1 small salad with grilled tofu, no extras or sides or drinks, $35. (Both items had protein added at about $4 each add, totaling about $14+ each, then tip is added). The inside has been refreshed since 11 years ago, that's nice. Bright, airy, clean. Can't complain. Salad was good; I like being able to make my own. Quality is fine. Grilled Tofu only gives you 3-4 1.5" (cold) squares though, should have gotten the chicken. I feel for vegetarians/vegans. I miss Salad-and-Go. Market Street doesn't salad bar anymore. Whole Foods still does and has other options, too, so it's still hard to say this is anywhere near worth it. But I guess that's the price you pay for fresh and healthy. Too bad it's out of reach for normal folks, price-wise. If the small salad was a couple bucks cheaper this could be a winner. To knock a star off, on top of it being painfully expensive, I would expect delightful service. Instead, blank stares and robotic moves; nobody likes their job who works there apparently? I don't expect fake smiles, but service is part of the cost and value add. read more

Wow what a cool place it's a salad/wrap make your own like a Moe's or chipotle but on a whole other level! Definitely a must try

Not sure how their prices work. Got two salads and two ice teas for $41. The salad was fine, fresh but certainly nothing earth shattering. Maybe they have the most expensive tea in the world. Not sure but not a real good value when looking for a quick healthy lunch. read more

Only went there for p/u pizza. Staff was friendly and the wood fired pizza was very good.

My family was craving salads and came here for dinner! The regular sized salads are really great portions. You can add fruits and veggies to your hearts content, and there are lots of proteins to choose from. I also love their croissants! My sister got a wrap and was very happy with it. I get lemon juice as the dressing for lower calorie and I feel like if ties my whole salad together. Would be pricey if I went everyday, but once in a while it's so good and so worth it! read more

amazing food! extremely fast service with a respectful staff, great ambience!! overall amazing!!!

Good food and good service..have used for special occasions for years and they never disappoint

I brought my family (wife and two kids) into the location for lunch over the weekend, the location was out of every item you could name, service was horrible/slow, we sat at the register for nearly 10 mins before someone addressed us. Will not be going back to here, save yourself the trip and go to the better location 5 miles north. read more

I loved this place! I was visiting from out of town and this place is perfect for eating total fresh and crisp salads! Build your own salad is the best. The staff was very friendly as well. read more

Howdy folks. How bout a great big bowl of rabbit food! 4 star food, 2 star price, that's 3 stars. I love salad bars, and Salata does not disappoint. A great selection of everything, and you decide what you want. Pile it on, or do the 100 calorie skimpy, it's up to you. Everything was fresh and delicious. Dining room is pretty cramped for a big boy like me. Randy S., come back and demand 4 bean sprouts! The customer is always right! If you feel that going green is the right thing to do, this might be your place! read more

Salata - You can't see the mixed seafood! - Salad Near Me - Flower Mound, Texas

Freshness and abundant veggies and toppings! Service is buffet cafeteria style, where you tell them what you want and they make the salad in front of you. Dining area was very clean with booths and tables. This place is mostly takeout or order to go. Great place for a quick fresh salad your way. read more

Salata's catering provided 24 wraps for our high school boys soccer team. When I arrived for pickup, the wraps were waiting and all beautifully boxed. The order was correct and It smelled delicious! Salata - Make your own - Salad Near Me - Flower Mound, Texas

Good salads but they give u a small spoon for every topping you ask for even on large salads. Need to always ask to put more and they get annoyed. Also when asking for a bit more dressing, they charge you for it. Really? Should be part of the salad. The reps always seem annoyed. read more

Delicious! Shrimp, chicken, and all the veggies were so fresh. This is my new go-to for healthy take out.

Food was very fresh and the service was excellent. Great selection of toppings. They did forget to include my bread, though. I will return.

First, the salad is still good. The restaurant side has gone beyond downhill. It's always pleasant to have to choose your table based on "least disgusting ". In the 30-35 minutes we were in-house, not a single staff member could be bothered to wipe down a single table. Nor clean the dropped food off the floor. The ice teas - all three flavors - ran out and the staff refused to make more "because it's close to closing." Clue: 6:45 - 9 pm close is over TWO HOURS. When the manager would be in the shop working on scheduling and such, the place ran like a well-oiled machine. Not so much anymore... read more

Everything was great but I thought it was a bit pricey. The ingredients were fresh, the building was nice, the line workers were friendly. My salad cost around $19.00. I will be very cautious next time in the ingredients I choose so the price is not so much. read more

Salata is amazing, it's like chipotle because you can build you own salad, except with a lot more options and total customization. I ordered a large salad with half spring mix and half romaine, added a ton of vegetables and did not get any meats because it was an additional $3 for meats and $4 for seafood. With such a delicious salad the only down side I could find was the price. My salad cost a little under $10 and I didn't have any meat in it. The reasoning for my 3 star review is because, while the salad was delicious, I could just as easily go to whole foods or any grocery store nearby and purchase a larger salad with protein for half the cost. Like Kara K, the "value" of the food is very important and can't be overlooked. But, if you don't mind shelling out $10 for a salad then this is your place, everything is delicious and you get a free drink with a yelp check in! read more

I heard about Salata from a friend who brought in a really yummy looking salad and I had to try it out for myself. There are so many options. Meats, fruits, veggies, nuts, etc. I loved being able to choose what I wanted in my salad. There are endless combinations you can try. I will definitely be back. read more

Great selection of fresh ingredients. Friendly service and reasonable price will be back

This is my favorite salad place by far! Very clean, really fast, and the staff is really great. You get a lot. Dining in or picking up to eat somewhere else is great. Fast food that's not the norm. read more

I love their salads. However during my last order, they messed it up. I told them that I made the request online. She then argued with me. Then she saw that my request was on the receipt. They remade the order and never apologized. read more

Great food. Selection is great and food is fresh. Delicious! My favorite is the shrimp with the green herb dressing! MMMMMMM!!!!! My only complaint is the price! It is $13 for a salad with protein on it. It's lettuce and other veggies! read more

My husband has been wanting to eat a lot healthier and just wanted some salad for our eat out day. We looked up Salata. I wasn't sure what we were getting ourselves in to since it's super new to eating healthy. I'm amazed on how amazing my salad came out even when I just added whatever was there that my eyes were drawn too. So many choices so many ways to make a salad wow! I enjoyed my salad and my husbands amazed that a salad can taste this good!! Yes! I have a healthy place to eat at now. Not feeling guilty at all and super full! It was $25 pricey but fresh and delish and huge salad. I would so pay this much. And the girls at the counter were just so sweet and patient with us newbies love there smiles. Clean place and enjoyed the environment. read more

I'm reluctant and torn. Selection is amazing. I sorta get it. There's always a but..... 2/5 very small space to sit. Lots of little tables and my elbows touch the girl at next table. Just not comfortable or what you get normally in suburbs. 5/5 selection of items. Ingredients looked and tasted fresh. 2/5 I received 3 bean sprouts when I asked for them. The face of server was frightening when she grabbed 3 little strings. Made me uncomfortable. 3/5 service. Very rushed through line. I get servers want to keep moving but again just uncomfortable for everyone. 2/5 for value. I have to agree with many others. 3 Salads and 3 tap waters for $38. One protein added (Chicken) to each salad. Ouch. That's about $13 per salad served in a steel mixing bowl. Meh. I really wanted to like this place. Just not really my (our) thing. It was amazing that my youngest daughter drove in to join us. Smile. read more

If you are craving a salad, this is definitely the place to go! The food tastes great and is so fresh. You are able to fully customize your salad with whatever toppings you want. It is a bit on the more expensive as I paid 18$ for a regular salad (with chicken) and water. One thing I do want to note is I'm not too sure how they clean their vegetables or if they do for their bases. In my salad, I got the long butt/ root end of a romaine head and was kind of thrown off by it. I would assume those pieces are thrown away when prepping the vegetables since it is hard to clean in between the leaves that are attached to the bottom. read more

Fresh food but expensive. Different sizes for salad but three small salads with a bill over $40 and then tipping on top of that the 15-30 percent selections on the register... a bit much. Protein is extra, understandably... but quinoa being an added protein costs seems a bit off- I'd assume it would be grouped as a topping. Tea selection was really good and food was fresh but I'd prob consider this fast food- yet the price doesn't meet that criteria. Still giving a good rating bc their service is fast, place is clean and food is good/healthy and portions were generous. read more

Don't DoorDash your order thru the Salata app because it takes forever!!! ( at least and hour and a half to receive)

My husband and I love this place. They serve a huge variety of salad toppings, and everything is always fresh and tasty! It is a little pricey but worth it for a quick, healthy option. We just ordered two small salads with extra shrimp (5 regular or 10 with extra shrimp) and avocado ($1 upcharge for 1/4 avocado) for $30 including tax and a $2 tip. You can get salads (small or large), wraps (all the same topping options) and soup. I've never tried their soups but they look delicious. This is definitely one of our go-to lunch places. Definitely worth a try if you're in the mood for a healthy salad! read more

Just so glad this exists! There is such a need for healthy, good food at the right price. Salata is it. While there menu is limited this is to be expected. This is basically Chipotle but as a salad bar. The quality ingredients and every changing taste of the month are both wonderful. I wish this was found in more places! I would love to see some even healthier items added: 1 non cow diary such as almond cheese and goat/sheep cheese. Secondly I have asked the ownership at several stores to reconsider their salad dressings to remove the nasty canola oil and move to Olive oil base. They accepted my input and said they would look into it. read more

Salads don't thrill me, yet I have been curious about Salata since they opened quite some time back. We tried it a few weeks back then went again last week. I'm a huge fan! The restaurant itself feels airy and clean, so that is a great start. It is basically a salad bar, but they put everything in the bowl instead of having you do it. You start with the size - regular, small or wrap. I got a regular during our first visit, and quickly discovered that a small was plenty. My fiancé agreed, and we both ordered smalls on our next visit. Once you have decided on a side, you choose your greens (and you can mix them). There are 5+ greens to choose from, so quite a good selection. You move through the line choosing your veggies, fruits, nuts, cheeses, dressings, etc. They say there are over 50 toppings and I can totally see that after going through the line only once. Once you have made your selections, they mix it all together with the dressing and it is delicious! Why don't salads taste that way when I make them at home?! They have a few choices of breads and I wholly recommend the multigrain croissant. I would go back just for that - it was that good! They have a tea bar, which I have never seen before - several choices of iced tea. I am a huge fan of the plum cinnamon. Add a little Splenda, and I'm all set! Come to think of it, I don't think they even had any kind of soft drinks. So Salata gets two thumbs up from me. I will be back soon! read more

First time here. So fresh and so good. I had the Harvest salad and it was delicious. My husband had the Bbq wrap and thought it was good too. I'd only like to suggest the chicken be cut in smaller pieces. Not all of us have big mouths read more

Expensive salad. The croissant was so good. The white beans soup was also delicious. You pick which veggies you like, dressing, meat, etc.

My son had been here a few times and insisted I try it. I eat a homemade salad everyday for lunch so curious to see how good it was. Nice clean but simple place when we walked in. It's nice that they make the salad for you and add anything you want. I got the large with chicken and he got a large with chicken. Not a bad deal for $20 total. All the ingredients tasted fresh. I'm a little spoiled that I grill my chicken that I use on my salads at home so wasn't too impressed it seemed packaged in cubes. Still taste good. Overall it's a good deal for a great price. Quality is fresh but not an amazing salad by far. read more

Always impressed with the food quality and the process. I can say sometimes they are short staffed but overall it's quick. I don't like how they have a tip option while paying. I don't understand that. That's my only complaint. read more

Went to this specific Salata and was truly disappointed. The portions of the salads mixes, the toppings, the protein... I was given the smallest amount of everything I asked for. There was no rush or overwhelming amount of orders. Compared to the Salata in the Colony on Denton Tap Rd, this Flower Mound location does not compare. read more
