I went with the cream of mushroom soup which they add crab meat in. It was fantastic! I also chose the hamburger with a side of fries. The hamburger was cooked to perfection and the fries were nice and crispy. My dining partner went with a steak and fries and he enjoyed every bite. Gina was good with describing the dessert so we went with the bomb. It really was the bomb! She was attentive with Phil filling up our waters and making our visit fun. The heavy metal vault door is purposely left open so the interior side of the door is on display, and therefore all the intriguing locking components of yesteryear can be viewed. Our waitress was excellent, a very cheerful person. Started off with a tasty coconut shrimp appetizer with a nice Thai chili dipping sauce. A California Reuben that followed was just so-so. The turkey meat was thin, processed slices and the bread was pretty plain. Since this sammie comes with coleslaw inside of it, the panini treatment misses the mark. Also ordered a cup of clam chowder, found it average.

When I showed up there was 2 people already sitting there waiting for food and they had just left. This is crazy. They really have to fix the timing online because it's never right and no one wants to have to sit there for 35+ minutes.

The restaurant is beautiful and hostess that sat us and person I spoke with on the phone when making the reservation were very nice but that's where it ended. Our waitress was very off, just plain rude actually! From the time we sat down it was like she was annoyed to be there! She looked angry, there is no other way of putting it , just someone who didn't like their job and should never be in the service industry. No good morning happy mother's day, whatever, nothing! But that's not the half of it. We were seated at 10:15 and were only 1 of 3 tables seated at the time and it looked like we were her first. Honestly wasn't very busy at that time, and regardless we are patient people and were polite. Maybe she got called in on mother's day and was mad I don't know, but that should never be a customers problem. She literily said "what do you want" with an attitude while taking our order. I looked at my husband and was like what is happening?! At one point. My husband asked for another drink and she actually said "when I have time" !! It was bizarre, never asked anyone if they would like another or how anything was, it was like we were bothering her. Truly bizarre experience. She brought our food out and laid it on the table behind us leaving it there for a few before serving, eggs benadict were cold! My frenchtoast was luckwarm and came with bacon not the sausage that I ordered but I let it go because she was a trainwreak. Just a really uncomfortable and bizarre experience!
