Ordered the Mediterranean salad with Greek dressing. It was loaded with veggies and everything was fresh. The two kids behind the counter were nice and helpful. The dressing was a bit bland for my taste. It didn't have a ton of flavor over the oil and vinegar. It also didn't come with enough dressing in my opinion. I wish I would have chosen a different dressing and that would have likely made the salad perfection. (And I typically love tart dressings and am adventurous with them.). read more

I'm not from around here so I found this place to be hard to find. Go INSIDE the school and ask around. On the plus side, there are a number of eating venues in this building so if you want a salad and your bud wants a burger, you can both be happy. Salad or Bust specializes in it's namesake. There are eight or 10 options. Plus they have chili and a soup of the day. The hubs and I both had the Mediterranean, which was special because of the little dolmadakia on top and the tasty olives. Plenty of dressing for all those greens, too. The hubs liked his side of chili (which, like the salad, had a bit of satiating quinoa). I appreciated they had Perrier (instead of only boring flat water), and we enjoyed our meal on the sunny patio. I appreciated the quality, fresh ingredients and I was fine to pay a premium price for them but I didn't tip, even though Square gave me the opportunity, thank you very much, BEFORE I even tasted my salad. This place is unique. Anastasio is a genius of a mixologist who is passionate about his craft. I could have listened to him explaining the details of his process forever. The drinks are well thought out..not kitchy and mine was yummy but not over the top.My dinner, a grain bowl, had just the right amount of creative ingredients that blended beautifully. The food here at Ivywild is edible but why spend $20 to go out to eat when you can make it at home? My husband got the AV sandwich. Everything was fresh but no great treat. Bacon on the sandwich looked like it was from Costco. (precooked - good for three months). I ordered the Frito salad. Served in a little Frito bag: from bottom: Fritos, chili, cheese, lettuce, onion, jalapeños. Eat out of the bag and your first mouthful is 10 jalapeño slices. Dump in the provided bowl and lettuce is wilted. Chili is mostly beans. Big, big disappointment! Grrrrr! read more

I ordered the Mediterranean with chicken and was surprised when it rang up for $21, but then I thought that it might be a big serving and was totally wrong. The to-go bowl was probably the same size as one of Chick-fil-A's but twice the price. On top of that, the ingredients were not fresh. Veggies are always incredibly fresh! There are always a few food items like dolmas (so good), raviolis, hummus! First few times checking it out they had soup in the cold seasons! They always close an hour early and look at you like your a waste of their time when trying to order. Will never give my business again and recommend you do the same.
