Make your own salad

Excellent salad options and options to build your own salad. This includes house pickled veggies and a roasted corn and bean mix that makes me salivate thinking about it. Highly recommend

If you are looking for casual, fun, varied and relaxing dining, try Ivywild school. I came for the Happy Hour at the Principal's Office and decided to eat and early dinner. Take a stroll at the many restaurant walk up counters and you will be impressed with the variety. I ordered a Mediterranean salad which was colorful, flavorful and such a large portion, I split it with my husband! The ingredients were fresh and tasty. The server was friendly and helpful. I will return.

I'm not from around here so I found this place to be hard to find. Go INSIDE the school and ask around. On the plus side, there are a number of eating venues in this building so if you want a salad and your bud wants a burger, you can both be happy. Salad or Bust specializes in it's namesake. There are eight or 10 options. Plus they have chili and a soup of the day. The hubs and I both had the Mediterranean, which was special because of the little dolmadakia on top and the tasty olives. Plenty of dressing for all those greens, too. The hubs liked his side of chili (which, like the salad, had a bit of satiating quinoa). I appreciated they had Perrier (instead of only boring flat water), and we enjoyed our meal on the sunny patio. I appreciated the quality, fresh ingredients and I was fine to pay a premium price for them but I didn't tip, even though Square gave me the opportunity, thank you very much, BEFORE I even tasted my salad. I placed my order at the counter, had to pick it up when it was ready and I bused my own table. If anyone earned a tip, it was me. Sorry, not sorry.

The Mediterranean was delicious and full of flavor. I enjoyed the dressing and how light it was. The veggies were paired really great.

You won't be disappointed by the portions and flavor at Salad or Bust! We were just visiting Colorado Springs for the day, but I'd definitely come back to enjoy a meal here!

AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE!! The monthly finners are my favorite, but the brunch is also phenomenal!! The Buddha bowls are delicious and the soups are delightful!

We stopped here while on vacation, the food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Mediterranean salad and my husband had the salmon salad.

Shuga's Favorite Cafe Tray is an order that could satisfy one's entire meal but is best when shared as a starter or if you are looking for a light meal. The Mediterranean selection with the hummus and tapenade is amazing with the coconut shrimp soup being a must try with its creamy and spiciness. Though I love the almond butter cake the most to add a little dessert to the meal. The Madame of the Pletzl is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The bagel is perfectly salted and has a wonderful crunch the sandwich needs. The egg melts into the sandwich, mixing with everything it needs to. The ham is fried up to crisp it up a bit but the ham seems to be lacking flavor wise compared to everything else in the sandwich. The Cuban Mojo Sandwich also is an amazing sandwich. The pork shoulder is crisped up nicely and works so well with everything else. The winter soup was a tomato soup with some grilled cheese croutons and it is the best tomato soup I've ever had. The tomato soup isn't puréed, there are noticeable definitions in the tomatoes in the soup. The soup isn't too acidic which is the usual issue in tomato soups. The croutons really amplify this dish on to another level and I just wish there were more in my soup. I can't wait to come back here and my biggest issue will to try and order new things.

We were driving all day and found this place for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised at the prices…read morewhen we got there, very affordable. When the food came, however, only disappointment followed. It started with them being out of the only thing I wanted, but I found other things. Those other things were all ruined in some way or another. The pretzel was the only thing that was decent was the pretzel and beer cheese, but I wonder if it was frozen and just had to be heated up anyway. The tomato soup was also a hit with my son. Very small serving, so small my 6 year old needed a second bowl, and complained that he was hungry when he was done. My other son got the poke bowl which was also such a small serving that he was still hungry. He said it was alright, but he wouldn't choose to have it again. This kid LOVES poke so that really says something. I got a side salad and the ranch tasted rancid, so I got another dressing they had, which was also disappointing and ruined my salad I left behind. There were more mishaps, but ultimately, the meal ended up costing more than it was worth, and everybody was hungry when we left. The only thing that was actually tasty was the crème brûlée. This might be a good place to come for drinks, but I would not recommend this place for food. This was a $90 meal that was worth about $5. I wish I had my time back. We will not be going back. I would not recommend the food.

I'm a second generation native of Colorado Springs, who grew up in the same neighborhood as Skiffington 's Drugstore that used to occupy this space that is now Snarf's, so I'm happy the space is reborn to be a fantastic food spot. I highly recommend Snarf's, and I will return back soon!

We both ordered the French Dip Sandwich with Swiss and Provolone which came out hot and fresh. The bread had a light crisp on the outside and was soft inside. The beef was tender and flavorful. The au jus was rich, savory, and warm. I even grabbed a spoon and slurped in between bites. Dipping the sandwich into that broth made every bite even better. The portion was a bit on the smaller side, but it was still filling enough for a light dinner. We shared a Zapp's Voodoo chips which we both liked. Got a chocolate chip cookie which I didn't finish because it tasted a little too processed for my liking. If you like a bit of heat, definitely try the green hot sauce by the drink station. Overall, Snarf's served up a solid French Dip-- hot, flavorful, and way better than the ones I've had at other sandwich spots. We'll definitely be back to try the other sandwiches.
