Build your own: chipotle chicken sandwich
Lindsay S.

I'm familiar with the Maté Factor in Savannah so when I saw one in Manitou Spring I knew it was the perfect stop to grab a quick bite! The decor is eclectic and a bit unique with some indoor seating. Their breads and pastries are all made in-house. They have a much larger menu at this location. I love the build your own sandwich option. I went with the chipotle chicken with cheese on an onion bun. It came with kettle chips and a crunchy pickle spear. I also got a large mango mate, which is one of my absolute favorite drinks! There's a handful of chairs outside that allow you to soak up the sun or relax in the shade.

My friends and I came down from Pike Peak cog railway and it's our first time visit this town. We were hungry after the train ride and spotted this cafe after getting off the shuttle bus. The cafe is not big but the vibe is very cozy. There's no waiter coming to serve you. You can go straight to the counter to place your order and the food will be served to your table. I ordered chicken sandwich which contains avocado and tomato. It tastes fairly good.

Deli pesto and PBBH

Food was phenomenal. Had the deli pesto sandwich and PBBH. Both were great. The side of vegetables were really yummy too and the tropical smoothie was refreshing. Service was great and everyone was super friendly. Decorations were very cute and relaxing which were perfect for post hike lunch.

We didn't try the food but got their mate drink to go. It's refreshing, not too sweet, and a nice thirst quencher to enjoy outside overlooking the stream. It's about $3.75/cup and again is reasonably priced considering it's located on the Main Street in a tourist town.

If you want perfect ambiance in Manitou Springs, this is the spot. Overhanging the creek, perfect decor, smells delicious. Well done!

The food was very creative and delicious. Everything was fresh. There was a wide selection of teas…read more The two teas we chose were very good. I highly recommend the Desert Sage - it's blue but turns purple with lemon juice. How neat! The tea room was medium-sized. It had a cute and charming Victorian ambiance. They had lots of tea party hats to dress up. So fun! I'm taking a star off because of The Queen's Parlour's PRICING and the design of their service routine. There is a $10 per person difference between the Light Victorian Tea ($35 pp) and High Tea ($45 pp). For an extra $10 pp, you basically get a fruit cup and a second pot of tea (different flavor). The service was impersonal with being served in sequence, so you hear the same spiel table after table introducing each course. It felt very factory-like. There was only one server for the majority of our visit, and she definitely did her best with how the tea service is done here. Again, the food was very good and flavorful. I would return again if a visiting friend or family member wanted to experience the tea room here. I would just opt for the Light Victorian Tea. We did tour the castle after tea and visit the gift shop. Everyone who worked at the castle was very pleasant to interact with.

Fantastic food and service! Miramont castle is fun to tour but the real draw is the tearoom…read more Cozy, comfortable dining room with plenty of space between tables. We've taken tea several times and the menu is always excellent with a great selection of teas. The food is quite filling and is so expertly prepared. Flavor combinations are really great! Thank you Leah and Lisa for the great service!!! We'll definitely be back for the holiday tea. Can't wait. Check them out!
