Boneless Chicken Tender Basket
Aviva B.

We were looking for somewhere to eat in Colorado Springs, and found this cute spot. There was a bit of a line, but it moved quickly. You order at the counter and then get a number to put at your table. There is a lot of seating, but I can imagine it fills up quickly on busy days. I ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte, which was ready very quickly. It was perfect. Our food took a very long time to arrive. I appreciate that the staff kept me updated that our order was still being worked on, but it took almost 50 minutes for our two items to arrive. They did offer us a coupon to use in the future for the trouble. We ordered the falafel and the chicken tenders. The falafel was very good, but I wish it came with more pita. This was a great lunch that filled me up without being too heavy. The chicken tenders were not great, and the chicken basically slid out of the breading as soon as my husband took a bite. I really liked the vibes of this spot, and even though there was a long wait, I appreciated the kindness of the staff when updating me about my order. We would not order the chicken tenders again, but I would love to try other things on the menu.

VEGAN Breakfast Burrito

Visiting from California and saw online this place has a vegan breakfast burrito and some other vegan options so I came with my mom and brother to try it out! Service was great and friendly, definitely a popular spot because lines form quickly! My brother had a chicken sandwich that he very much enjoyed and devoured, and my mom had a salad that was huge and she was super full and satisfied after eating it. The vegan breakfast burrito gets a 15/10 from me, and I didn't even add any extras. Incredible flavor, didn't fall apart, and was just perfect! I also got a vegan chocolate chip cookie and it was huge and absolutely amazing!! Ambience was awesome, outdoor and indoor seating upstairs and downstairs so no issues finding a table. Overall, I would love to go back on my next visit and my family loved it as well! I want another breakfast burrito if I'm being honest

Bloody Mary

Hiked the incline with a friend and we were starving - needed some food and a drinky drink. We decided on The Exchange because they have vegan options (my friend is vegan). We both got breakfast burritos and bloody Mary's. It hit the spot! It's super cute inside and has a nice atmosphere.

We came here for the first time to try their breakfast. It is bright, open, and cherry with old rock playing in the background. The staff was friendly and helpful. After perusing the menu we ordered at the counter. My husband had the vegan breakfast scrambled while I had the breakfast scrambled skillet but with vegan eggs. I also ordered two large iced teas which were given to me and we chose a table. Our food came out shortly there after. It smelled and looked delicious. The plating of the dishes was also lovely. The main difference between our orders was that I had bacon and real cheese while my husband had vegan cheese. The dish was pretty spicy and wonderfully tasty! My toast, which was supposed to be buttered, was dry, but I think that was because of the request for vegan eggs. Even the dry toast was tasty! We look forward to coming here again!

Crispy Tofu Banh Mi

The Exchange is so cute! Love their vibe. You order all drinks and food at the front, they give you a number and you can sit wherever you want. I love that you can order from a large drink menu including alcoholic drinks. I stuck with a water and ordered the tofu banh mi. I ordered the mango smoothie and healthy bowl for my daughter. She wasn't a fan of the chia seeds but i liked them! Everything was really good. There were a lot of people sitting around with their computers working. The noise level wasn't bad if you wanted a change in scenery for work. The staff were very nice and friendly. Parking was easy on the street. I would definitely come back.

Yes!! I love it here. It's my new happy place, honestly. The staff is always friendly and personable. I appreciate the variety of gluten-free and vegan options in the display cases. They are a hit every time I try one. I especially love the gluten-free peach bread. The whole vibe is great. I loved the music selection.

Such a cute location with great chill vibes. We came for the vegan options but were so happy with the regular choices as well. You order at the front and they bring the food - all of which was tasty! I loved the lentil veggie hash- mmmmm. I'd be a regular if I lived here!

Bacon breakfast sandwich

Food was great, just about all the menu items are good. Friendly staff the guy taking our order was patient it was four of us. Our AIRBNB host suggested this place we have time to kill before we head out to the airport. She gave us a good choice. Ambiance was chill and calming. I'm sad we didn't discover this place before we left back to Houston!

Bacon breakfast burrito.

I've been wanting to check this place out for some time. I love the ambiance on a Sunday morning. I popped in quick to grab a breakfast burrito and coffee to go. The employees were friendly and polite. The burrito was a tad heavy on the egg side. The green chili.....OMG!!! I could drink it!!! So yummy! Definitely plan to be back.

I really loved this atmosphere once we got the food ordered. I really didn't like the ordering process; it's like ordering at noodles but you have to go up and get the drinks from the counter. It's hard to hear and it's where you order from so it is congested. Finding a seat is also an issue, first come first serve style so if you have a big group it could be hard. I loved the live music and how open it is once you get through the entrance and ordering chaos. The food is really good and the portion sizes I felt were just right if you're hungry. The coffees and drinks were great. I didn't love the baked goods but the hot food was delicious. A great place I'd go back to!

Great food and coffee. Not sure why it took me so long to try it. My husband had been before and was amazed at the change.

I ordered a slice with chicken, pineapple, and extra cheese. The flavors were great, although I personally would have loved even more cheese, but that's probably just me! The staff was friendly, and the service was quick from start to finish. Since I visited in the middle of the day, it wasn't busy at all, which made for a nice, relaxed experience. The outdoor seating area was especially enjoyable, and with the beautiful weather, it was the perfect place to sit back and enjoy a slice. I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm downtown craving pizza.

But my friends and I all decided to order the LIGHTS OUT BURGER. It's a smash burger with 2 patties, cheese & pickles. It's quite simple. It's listed as Denver's most popular burger & I can easily understand why. It's very good! A solid choice in my opinion. The burger is juicy. It has all the right ingredients to satisfy anyone's burger cravings. And on the particular Monday that we came here, they were offering an all-day happy hour discount on burgers. So, we got a discount on the burger. If you had ordered fries, you would have just paid the original price of the burger which is honestly a steal! If you can time your visit for a Monday, save the cost & stop by! Give the Lights Out Burger a try - you probably won't regret it. From my experience, the service here is excellent as well, which is always a plus.

You enter through a phone booth and walk downstairs into an Alice in Wonderland restaurant…read more Excellent entrance. Usually when I follow my wife underground, we're looking for parking. This time there were cocktails and a coherent artistic vision. They really commit to the theme, and it looks fantastic. For a moment, I forgot there was an entire normal city upstairs where people were renewing vehicle registrations. We made a reservation about an hour beforehand and got in without trouble. I believe it was a Wednesday afternoon, and it wasn't particularly packed. Plenty of room to enjoy the atmosphere without feeling like we were being processed through Wonderland. Started with the bread, which was perfectly crisp. Then the skirt steak appetizer, which had great flavor. Could've happily kept eating that, but we had other business to attend to. Specifically, gourmet mac and cheese. An unusual entrée choice for a themed date, perhaps, but apparently you can lead a grown man into a subterranean fantasy world and he'll still ask where they keep the noodles. It was excellent. My wife and I both wanted more afterward. The White Rabbit cocktail was excellent too. Toasted marshmallow on top. A tiny campfire snack hovering over my drink while I sit underground eating fancy macaroni. Whoever planned this afternoon understands my needs better than I do. Highly recommend for the entrance, the atmosphere, the food, and especially that cocktail. Walk downstairs. Let The Rabbit do it's little thing.

Since it was so late we ended up grabbing some of the truffle fries and the cheese balls to snack on as we had a couple drinks. The fries had to be the best truffle fries I've had as all of them were extra crispy and had the right amount of truffle oil and salt throughout. Very consistent in the flavor and texture. Cheese balls weren't as expected with the arugula and cable slaw on the side vs what we though would be incorporated into the cheese ball. Started with the pumpkin extravaganza which was tasty although not sure how potent. Next up was the espresso martini which was also tasty and despite not having espresso in it, had that coffee flavor as anticipated. The entry is amazing and they have several cozy seating areas. Service was a bit hit and miss as they were quite busy. My friend got the White Rabbit, flaming marshmallow and the other friend got the apple pie martini. Both enjoyed and I'd come back to try their main entrees by snagging an earlier reservation.
