Come to find out, you can build your own salads, rice bowls, wraps, soup bar and they got a baked potato station lol. What a good combination. Pretty good ingredients to choose from. All of the usual things you'd expect on a salad bar. I did try the chicken swarma.. delicious. Never heard of it but it slaps. They have little cups as you go, that you can use to taste things before adding them to your bowl. Just a cute little place. Staff is young, respectful, helpful. The music is good! A genre you wouldn't expect. I'm not gone spoil it lol. Prices??? Depends on how heavy your bowl is. The register has a scale that weighs your food to see how much it costs. There's a standard cost for the bowl, plus how heavy it is. Makes sense to me. Try them!

I love a good salad and making it my way is super creative and fun! I stopped by during the lunch…read morehour and upon entrance it was alot. The instructions are displayed but I was still a bit lost and just then Maiya showed up! She was very polite and helpful and walked me through the process. So you basically build your own salad fixings and weigh it at the end. You have the option to have the salad chopped up also. There is also a potato bar with all salad bar options to add and soup is also available here. All items are weighed (rice weighed separately) so be careful when adding your ingredients. The place was very clean and staff was helpful.

Driving from Oklahoma City to Maryland sounds absolutely insane (because it kind of is), so when we…read morefound ourselves passing through Memphis around lunchtime, I turned to my trusted Yelp experts to help us find a local gem. Sunrise Memphis did not disappoint. We stopped in around 12:30 p.m. on a Wednesday and didn't experience any crowds or much of a lunch rush. That being said, after eating here, I completely understand why people mention waiting hours on weekends. The ordering process is simple: walk up to the counter, place your order, grab a number, and seat yourself. I appreciated that they offer both breakfast and lunch all day because it meant we didn't have to choose between the two. I ordered the chicken tenders with tater tots and an Arnold Palmer. Everything was fresh, hot, and exactly the kind of comfort food you crave in the middle of a long road trip. Kyler ordered the Kitchen Sink, which came with eggs, bacon, hash browns, grits, and a biscuit. He asked if he could swap the cheesy grits and biscuit for biscuits and gravy, and they ended up bringing him everything anyway! It was a massive meal, but absolutely delicious. Beyond the food, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I also loved the fun, eclectic atmosphere. The colorful Memphis touches throughout the restaurant gave it so much personality, and there was even a bar area that made me think this would be an absolute blast for brunch with friends. Sunrise Memphis ended up being one of our favorite surprises of the entire drive. If you're passing through town, do yourself a favor and stop here.

Be prepared to stand in line--but don't let that scare you away! It wasn't a big deal for us,…read morealthough some people visiting from out of state (like us) were definitely caught off guard. Trust me, it's worth the wait. While you wait, grab a menu to be prepared for the second line which is the indoor line where you will order your food. The atmosphere has that cozy, family-friendly dive vibe that makes you feel right at home. The staff was incredibly welcoming and treated everyone like regulars. Now, let's talk about the food. If you're on a diet...this is your warning. The cinnamon apple roll was absolutely off the chain! And those biscuits with the strawberry jam and butter? Let's just say all table manners disappeared--I was using my hands and didn't even care. Even the veggie patty had that rich, savory flavor that reminded my husband of real sausage, and the thick-cut bacon was cooked to perfection. The price was not bad for the amount of food, especially right now when everything is extremely expensive. When I say you need to try this place, I mean it! We'll definitely be making the trip back from STL. Next time, we're trying more of the menu--and after hearing everyone rave about the mimosas, those are officially on the list too!
