Fajita wrap
Alexandria P.

This place is the best! The prices are so good for what you get. I got a fajita wrap and it was HUGE! I could barely hold it in my hands. Not only that it was also super tasty, flavorful and refreshing on a hot TX day. I chose to get protein boxes for my kids and was shocked at the great price, you get to pick three items & a sauce from their massive list and my kids LOVED it. The lemonade is also pretty good, I managed to get a sip from my kids before they drank it all! This is a drive thru only style of place but such a great lunch stop for on the go. This will definitely become a regular for us.

You know when you drive by a restaurant that catches your eye and you make a mental note of "I have got to try that soon!" And then you never do? Just me? LOL This place was on my "to try" list for the longest time! I had just finished a later than usual session at Hotworx and I was famished! Ironically enough I remembered Salad and Go because when I had arrived to Hotworx the manager was eating the most delicious looking salad and he mentioned he had gotten it at Salad and Go and it's one of his favorite places. I'm so glad I finally tried it! Everything was so fresh and customizable. I didn't feel like I needed more food after I was done. It was a perfect, healthy, and fast dinner option. It's great when you're in the go and don't have time to think about the healthiest fast food options available. I don't think there is any indoor seating but I could be wrong since I only went through the drive through. I'll have to update my review later on if I try to go inside next time.

Permantly Closed location. Food is old not good. Difficult to see them reopening hard to see from road. Ambiance is a drive thru no seating. Team seemed nice.

4/25 Todays Cobb Salad

2024 Cobb salad & this years Cobb salad ! Every time I've gone it's just gotten worse. Very disappointed & they also forgot to add the avocado that comes included in the salad. Last visit they didn't even put the egg in and I had to wait again at the curbside window to just get my boiled egg. Please do better.

My daughter and I stopped here after waiting for their opening. The salads were very good, fresh, easy to mix. The drinks were refreshing! Great service at the window.

Hello Salad and Go! Long awaited some fresh options that are good to go in this side of the county! The service was friendly and fast and the staff were very informative! Now for the food! The blueberry Basil Lemonade appeared on the menu refreshing on this hot late Spring day so I ordered that it was deliciously fresh, blueberry lemon taste do recommend it paired with the Fresh Cobb Salad, I chose chicken as my protein made for fulfilling fresh dinner, comes with plenty of grilled chicken, lettuce greens, boiled egg, bacon bits and blue cheese bits! Overall you get great service, fresh options, even have the opportunity to build your own salad (see the app for details) and great salads, I'll be sure to be back to Salad and Go, welcome to the neighborhood! Located at Tally Road and Potranco Road!

Chicken wrap with small charge for extra Caesar dressing.

The Potranco location opened in early 2024 and although traffic in this area is very busy, it's the closest Salad and Go near me. There are actually several in San Antonio now including the Southside where healthy food options are rare. The drive thru is the only option here, and you get either a salad or wrap. I believe they also have a soup available. I went at around 1pm on a Thursday and was shocked to see how long the drive thru lines were. The cars just kept coming and coming. My experience was about 10-12 minutes in line before receiving my order. The chicken Caesar wrap was quite large and as reviews mentioned, the dressing is made with the wrap so you don't have dressing to dip into or pour on your wrap which I found odd. It was a very good wrap. Very good, but not amazing. I think the reason (or one of them) that this place is so busy is for the value. I was pleasantly surprised to find that a large wrap came out to less than $8 after tax. Now I know why the lines are so long!

Always looking for a good breakfast burrito! My wife and I are from out of town and came here for a quick bite. WOW!!!! We're visiting San Antonio, TX for a few days and OMG!!! The Traditional Breakfast is absolute . The Arnold Palmer is strait !!!

It was my first time here, so I had no idea what I was getting. My first thought was a salad, but once I saw the different wrap options, I chose to get the Fajita wrap with tofu as my protein option. Good thing the staff was polite and patient, because I was very indecisive lol. The fajita wrap was really good, although the jalapeño ranch dressing comes with the wrap, feel as if I'd get more of it added since the wrap was a little on the dryer side. I also got the blueberry basil lemonade which was good as well.

Greek salad with tons of chicken and an Arnold Palmer

Service was outstanding. The employees seem happy to be there. We got two salads and two drinks for 18.47! The salads are filling with a ton of protein and flavor! The drinks were fresh!

It is tasty and fresh though... I'll give them that... but I'm so upset with my treatment that I can't even enjoy my food entirely.

CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING THE DRIVE THROUGH! I went all the way home to find out my salad was missing its dressing. I try calling the restaurant and no one answers. Called 3 times, no answer. So I go all the way back to the restaurant to get the dressing and they don't even recognize or apologize for their mistake. What's more, is that it almost seems as if they think I'm lying or something. At this point I'm hungry, and angry at the lack of remorse... and I tell the associate that the mistake should be at least apologized or acknowledged. She looks left and right, then says "oh I'm sorry" in a monotone voice. I ask for a second dressing (to see if maybe they'd give me at least SOMETHING for the trouble). She responds "oh that's gonna be extra". I was so mad, I just drove off with my one dressing handed to me on a napkin. I wish this experience hadn't occurred because I was so excited to become a regular customer. This is my second time here and I've already been telling everyone about it because the first time I came the wrap was so good... but now I don't know. I wanted to share this because, one... I'm upset and feel wronged... and two... so that others can anticipate this and not be as taken back as I was. UPDATE: I'm updating my review from 1 star to 4 stars. Since this last incident, I reached out to the company via email; they apologized extensively and sincerely, and they gave me a small gift card for my troubles. I shouldn't have applied the bad behavior of one employee to the entire restaurant, but I was angry and I did. Since then, I've come back 3 times. One of those 3 times the dried cheese was missing from my burrito, but it was still tasty and not a big deal. The other two times were perfect. The workers were kind, quick, and my food came out delicious. What's more is that even when I add double protein, the price is STILL under $10! This is a much healthier fast food spot than most other places nearby. I'm grateful to have this location near my home and I plan on revisiting indefinitely.

Strawberry lemonade and buffalo chicken salad.

Jalapeño Ranch Wrap
Kailyn S.

Super fast and professional service! There is no seating to dine in or outside. So just as the name implies, you grab your salad and go! We went to a local park to enjoy the beautiful day and our delicious fajita salad and jalapeño ranch wrap. Many of the salads come with plenty of fresh cut avocado for no additional fee. I totally recommend this spot!

Some restaurants feed you. Tripoli's transports you. From…read morethe moment you walk in, the space does something to you -- warm lighting, tufted banquettes, burgundy velvet chairs with gold legs, and a ceiling panel with intricate geometric lattice work straight out of a Moroccan riad. It doesn't feel like a strip mall restaurant. It feels intentional. The pastry case alone deserves its own review. Piped butter cookies, rose-dotted squares dusted with cardamom, delicate filled rolls -- it's the kind of display that makes you order dessert before you've even sat down. And then the food. The chicken shawarma bowl is not playing around -- seasoned chicken, kalamata olives, crumbled feta, creamy garlic sauce over a bed of greens, finished with cracked pepper. Every bite is layered and bold. The kind of meal that makes you pause mid-fork and just appreciate it. What sets Tripoli's apart isn't just the food or the ambiance. It's that the whole experience feels curated. Like someone who actually loves this culture built this place and meant every single detail. San Antonio has been sleeping on this gem. Wake up!!

I had a hard time walking out without calling for the manager or owner. I would like to start my…read morepost with the positive so here it goes. The ambiance was great, everything from the decorative rugs, Arab writing on the wall, tagine pottery and brass crafts were perfectly displayed. The tabbouleh salad was very tasty, it had the right amount of ingredients making it pretty as well as colorful placed in the neat brass metal bowl. Now with the things that require immediate remedial attention: 1. The burger was overrated, overcooked and dry. 2. The chick pea salad lacked chick peas, dressing, onions and feta cheese. 3. The lamb Kofta plate was prepared right however, it was not enough meat for the price and the cream sauce tasted like straight butter with a hint of garlic. The pita bread was lukewarm and looked like it had been unwrapped, quartered and thrown in a microwave for 30 seconds prior to serving it. 4. Drinks Ordered: The Cafe' Arabia was very tasty BUT, I didn't get it until we were almost done with our meal. We ordered drinks when we were first seated so that was a big red flag. My wife also ordered the Moroccan mint teapot and she didn't get it until after I got my coffee. I told the barista/waiter to cancel it when I got my coffee but he said it was also ready for us and could put it in a to-go cup for her. That kind of defeated the whole experience of drinking tea while waiting for our meal. 5. The service was really slow. Took over 15 minutes to get our (tap) waters and 20 minutes for our food when we were the only ones in the restaurant until we had placed our order. 6. The waitress needs some serious people skills and bussing training to know how to serve food and drinks. She touched the tops of the glasses her fingers. She didn't greet us and practically dropped the plates on the table when she brought them out. To add insult to injury, she put the handheld pay device on the table without asking us if we wanted or needed anything else. My kids wanted to try out some desserts, so luckily for us, the nearby HEB has plenty to offer. I had high hopes for this place because of what the owner posted on Instagram and it is so close to our neighborhood. Guess we will have to continue driving further into the city to other Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern restaurants that have better food and service.

Easiest 5 we have eaten at in a long time. Well, everyone says "best chicken I've ever had". I will…read moresay this, it's one of these best grilled chicken we've ever had. It's the marinade, and the care they take in grilling it just right. We started off with pupusas. They were fantastic. The midget had the bean and cheese one, and the adults had chicharron. These pupusas were cooked perfectly. They didn't fall apart, and they put in more filling than other places. We are not too familiar with this cuisine, but man we were missing out! They served the pupusas with this type of coleslaw that was more tart than sweet. It was so good with the pupusas. We are not big fans of normal close slaw in our family. Yet this was a big hit everyone! We ordered the family parillada for us. Let me tell you, I'm a huge proponent of value. This was value PLUS! It came with lots of food! It came with the chicken of course, but also with some very tender and flavorful carne asada. It came on a bed of onion! But get this...there was more meat than onion! They give you HOMEMADE corn tortillas!!!!! Yes!!!! Plenty of sides and tortillas! We washed it all down with horchatas which were amazing too. Now I say not every place is perfect. The rice freak did not enjoy the rice. It was just ok for us. I can see why. I think it's a cultural thing, and the way they prepare it is not what we are accustomed to. It looked better than it tasted, it wasn't horrible but we could've done without it. Also there was a pink/orange sauce that was served that we did not get. It wasn't spicy, and it wasn't good. Didn't understand it. The beans were great, but again lacked a little spice. I know we may be biased to spice or heat, but a couple of jalapeños would've put the beans in another stratosphere. Otherwise they were executed perfectly! The green sauce and the coleslaw(it's probably called something else, forgive the ignorance) were the stars! We also appreciated how well the food was packaged, and they don't use cheap packaging for the sides! This was a wonderful experience for us after a great service at church! HIGHLY recommend and we will be back for sure!
