I've been to this Chick-Fil-A a few times over the past few years and I've never had any issues. It's your standard Chick-Fil-A affair, and staff is great as to be expected from a Chick-Fil-A. On New Year's Eve, my mom casually shared a picture with me of a Chicken & Waffles Breakfast Sandwich, and I almost drove down then and there to get one myself as it was a San Antonio and Baltimore exclusive. What a beautiful creation. We were visiting my family on New Year's Day and a few days later, we got to try it ourselves. First of all, it has to be ordered on the app. That was easy enough. Upon getting home to try it, I thought it was good and would probably swap out a Chicken Biscuit for it because the waffle is pre-infused with syrup making it have a stronger flavor and really brings out the true Chicken and Waffles taste out of it. Worst BBQ Bacon Chicken Sandwich I've had. The chicken felt like it had been coated in hard plastic, it may have been the bacon. Couldn't find the cheese and there was very little BBQ sauce. I simply couldn't eat it. The DDP is not the right ratio syrup to soda. The cashier challenged me about saying I wanted a Diet Coke. And she forgot that I didn't want the ice cream cone with my meal. I understand this is a fast food chain but Chick-fil-A has always had some sort of professionalism with it, but this one completely sucks. 1st go around, they got mine and my wife's order wrong, we looped back around and the chick who took our order just walked off while giggling. We were told to go around and when I got to the window they had us pull forward and forgot about us for 30 minutes and then CHARGED US for the fix on the order that THEY screwed up. 2nd go around, they got my wife's order completely wrong again, didn't catch it till we got home. This job isn't hard...not expecting much from a fast food chain but my generation sucks and the bare minimum should be the standard for fast food. Do better. read more

Running errands around the neighborhood and the long awaited Chick-fil-A has finally opened its doors! The restaurant is located on the northwest corner of Hwy 211 and Potranco in far west San Antonio. Placed my breakfast order for carry out using the app and all I had to do was arrive to the mobile pick up area portion of front counter. The employees immediately acknowledged me and were very friendly. Soon after my order was ready in about 5 minutes from checking in with the app and front counter employees. The place was bustling with many employees on deck to fulfill orders and keep the new Chick-fil-A looking clean! The restaurant is the modern 2023 Chick-fil-A design full slide door for drive thru, new, bright white and red color schemes throughout the restaurant! Now for the food, once I taken my food home the order was fresh and accurate what I expect from Chick fil A ordered the Sausage Egg and Cheese biscuit combo with hashbrowns nicely crisp and golden and iced vanilla coffee which needed to be more sweeter in my opinion. My wife ordered the spicy chicken biscuit hash browns and orange juice. Overall great location, friendly staff, quick service, and up to Chick-fil-A standards I am impressed given it is the location's first week! I went for breakfast ordered breakfast bowl no potatoes add egg white. They attempted to give me a bowl that was not acceptable for anyone especially paying $12. Service could be better specifically inside. I was greeted by Jordan the owner who took care of my issue. He was empathetic professional and took care of the problem. However the 3 females who walked by without acknowledging me with a simple greeting need to learn basic customer service. I wanted to order a drink while Jordan was in the back but I couldn't even get a simple hello. Store is small seemed clean inside. If I come back I'll be checking my order for sure. Thanks to Jordan for your assistance please speak to your entire morning staff about basic customer service and taking pride in what they do. Chick-fil-A is known to have great customer service this location, however, will test that theory. We placed our order with a girl that clearly didn't want her job which was expressed with distraction, shoving the menu in our face when we asked to see it and talking to other servers with a bad attitude while we were ordering. We asked for some whipped cream in a cup for our dog and the girl said it wasn't something on the menu, we then said that we were willing to pay for a mac & cheese if we could just use the cup and put some whipped cream in it. She said it wasn't something that she could enter in her device but she would let the people making the order know. We got to the window and the order didn't have the (Mac and cheese) cream in a cup. We waited for the cream in a cup, and the girl said that they couldn't do that. We told them that the cream in the cup was for our drinks Abe that was suddenly allowed. Another girl overheard and immediately went to get a cup with some cream in it, and came back and gave it to our grateful dog while sweetly talking to him. The manager approached us and told the girl off in front of us. If I am paying for an off the menu item, I can give it to my dog if I want to MA'AM!! The manager was extremely unprofessional. Today was the second time in a row that I've been here and the food was mostly inedible. Two weeks ago, I ordered a salad - it got thrown away. Ironically, they shut down the next day for a sewage problem. Today, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and so did my colleague. The bread was stale and crumbling. I had to make my sandwich a lettuce wrap. That is not very filling when a sandwich was expected. Also, the fry containers for both of our lunches today were only half way filled and they weren't even hot. This location needs proper help. read more

This is the location off 211 and potranco. Not even busy!! Drive thru empty. I specifically asked for ketchup sauce and napkins and sweetener. No sugar because I'm diabetic. I get home there's no napkins no sweetener and regular sugar. Omg !! I mean what is so difficult about that. favoritism and back biting. they wanted to write my daughter up for a nose stud after being told it was ok to have it when she pointed out several other people had the same thing and weren't being written up the story changed. they have done everything in their ability to make her quit. she has a leaning disability and is a little slower and they have made her time there terrible. it is no Christian environment and Kylie the kitchen lead has treated her like a dog. If I could give zero stars I would. I have been to this location many times now hoping it would get better. I gave it the excuse in the beginning of "it just opened". Nothing is changing, even when they repeat your order back to you they still can't get it right. I get to the window and get handed my bag and the food I ordered isn't all in there. My breakfast bowl is less than impressive, I actually paid for the food but what they gave me I should have paid maybe a 1/4 of the price. I'll just keep driving to 1604/Potranco because I have no problems with that location. If you drive by this location at 211/Potranco and see that it's dead ALL the time that should be your sign to run. read more

TLDR: horrible location, staff needs better training, have the staff repeat back the order, and review your food. Alright first let me start off saying how excited I was for this location to open. It is a little further for me versus 1604 & Potranco but I generally like coming to Steven's Ranch to do my shopping. First, it is an absolutely horrible location with terrible entry/exit. I had read TXDOT wouldn't approve an entry on 211 side. It is also under large power lines. I'll let you do your own research on that. Having been open for officially 6 days not counting Sunday and Thanksgiving we ventured there to grab a quick lunch. Immediately starting our order, Kyle who is wearing management attire messes up punching in the order and has a young man come over and help clear the screen. Now I have never worked for CFA but I have worked in food service and been around long enough to know typically you send your team to another up and running restaurant to train. Mistakes I would expect a new team member to make, not someone who has the button down manager/supervisor look going on. It explains what happens next. Total comes to $36 and I get him to scan my barcode for the free sandwich. Lowers it down to $31 and some change. I just thought basically two entrees and a grilled chicken patty has gotten expensive. Move around the building, receive our food, and there's an extra sandwich in the bag. Check the receipt and sure enough Kyle charged us for an extra grilled sandwich we didn't need. Because we paid for it and I know we will eventually eat it, we didn't go back and turn it in or ask for a refund. When I opened my sandwich, it was the first time I've ever discovered pickles outside and on the bottom of my plain/spicy cfa sandwich. Not sure how that happened. Perhaps they forgot and just tossed two pickles in? My wife came here earlier in the week and they messed up her order as well. She caught it while still there and asked for the correct items so they took the food back from her and when she received the bag back her sandwich she had asked for was deconstructed and toppings were placed in a separate small bag for some reason. CFA is considered a high bench mark of fast food customer service. It is sad that a new store is having such a rough first week. read more
