Loved this place. All you can eat sushi and hibachi. Something to keep in mind.Their lunch menu is only Monday-Friday. 16.99 pp, 11-4pm. Saturday and Sunday the only option is the dinner price at 26.99pp. All day. There is a 2 hour max for dining. For me, this is OK as long as my food is coming out in a timely manner. The ambiance is really nice. It's a small space but well thought out layout. Its good for small groups. You can tell they put some thought into it. They have a huge motion wall that changes with different moving sceneries. Our server was nice and explained the menu. All of the options we chose were fresh, and had good flavor. We were satisfied. I like that when you order certain items, like the wings, they only bring out 1at first. You are basically trying it out so that you don't waste a bunch of food if you don't like it. They do charge extra if you waste a bunch of food. The sushi rolls to me seem a little larger than I've had at other sushi restaurants. You get full faster. Great choice for All you can eat. I do recommend.

I absolutely love this restaurant it is my favorite sushi restaurant in clt. It's affordable with very good amounts of food. The hibachi is very good, but the maki sushi is my favorite omg. So good. So good. This is my favorite sushi ever. Mind u this is 2 separate times I have gotten the maki and it was so good but I've gotten it 4 times now.

My prior review had this place at a 5. I was going just about once a week until I found a hair on one of my rolls in October of last year. They gave me a fair discount and I just didn't eat that piece. Flash forward about 8 months, I decided to come back for a lunch out. Gone are the paper menus where you select what you want and how much of it you'd like. You have to order through the server, who has a tablet. This is annoying when you want to order a variety of food and have to remember which items to name off. I don't think you can pick the individual quantity of each item like you could before, promoting potential food waste. The new menu also seems to have some things cut or possibly hidden. They used to have ice cream as a dessert option, so I asked about it. They said they still offered it for free but it's not on the menu because the flavors change. Still, it'd be good to know that we at least a choice. Overall, I'd give my experience a 3. I much prefer the paper slip ordering system, and the special roll selection for lunch is not good. The food was fine, but I now have to go and forth between here in Mr. Tokyo where this used to be my favorite of the two.

Where to begin... the service was subpar. They had one server working a 12 party and our side which was like 11 tables. My husband ordered the yellowtail jalapeno and I ordered the pepper tuna tataki. The picture is below. It says 1 on the menu so my understanding is one order per person. Well, it is. But it's 1 ONE piece. The menu shows more. You only get one because it's a "special". This used to be high quality good food. Now it's just subpar. Yes, you get unlimited but it's just meh at its best. This used to be my go to. Now, not so much. I will not go back. The waiter was rude. The girl working at the counter starred me down the whole time. Save yourself your money and your time. Oh, they don't have the paper to write down what you want. You tell your server. Oh, and if you want wasabi and ginger don't forget to ask for it, it doesn't come with your sushi.

Really good experience at Sakura. We ordered the AYCE option for 26.99 each and it was definitely worth it. The food and service were amazing and the rolls came out relatively quick. We went on a Friday around 5pm and it was relatively empty and quiet. There is free parking in front of the restaurant. Definitely check it out if you are in the neighborhood!

Stopped by for a sushi fix. It's been awhile. Nice strip Mall parking lot and larger than expected interior. Typical Asian decor. Met at door by friendly hostess who immediately seated me. Since Sakura offers both all you can eat and traditional menu you have to declare intentions. Mine was for a simple quiet Japanese style meal so I ordered off the menu. Miso was brought out first and was very tasty. Next came my roll (I am sorry I forgot which one I got). It was also tasty and on the large side. Very nice. The shrimp Udon was also good but since it is something new for me to try not sure. I liked it. Service was friendly and my water glass stayed full. Very attentive.

Food: we opted for the all you can eat option. If you do that, the entire table has to pick the option. We selected a variety of dishes and it took about 15 minutes to arrive. You mark your order on a paper and you can reorder as much as you want. Everything we ordered was delicious and freshly made. They do accommodate special requests too. Service: was good but fairly slow. Compared to the terrible Mr. Tokyo this is far better in terms of speed and quality Ambiance: very nice decor. We recently came back from Japan and it really felt like a Japanese restaurant. I would definitely come back and recommend to others. You can also order through the menu or delivery.

Stopped by here after the movies on a Saturday and was seated immediately. It's $26.99 for AYCE sushi/hibachi which is a great price once you see just how much food they offer. I tried the tempura mushroom, spring rolls, and clear soup from the apps menu and I will say that they were very basic and just okay to me. The real star is the sushi. I got some salmon nigiri and the salmon was massive. You could also get AYCE sashimi which is amazing since I think this is the only place you can do that at. My favorite roll was the Sexy Roll. I was too full to try the hibachi but I will next time!

This is an 'all you can eat sushi and hibachi' restaurant in Concord. The prices are reasonable, $27 dollars for endless sushi or you can order entrees off the menu. I decided I wanted the steak teriyaki (medium well) with steamed rice, and a salad. The salad was pretty average but the steak pieces were very generous but the onions were a bit overload. The hibachi sauce that accompanies the entree was a good fit, and service was decent. The place is clean, and the restrooms are decent. Parking is available in front or behind the business. Overall, I would return again.

Snuck away from great wolf to grab dinner. We were very impressed with this all you can eat sushi option. Kids get cut out of the kids pricing at 10 which is something to be aware of if dinning with light eaters. My hot tea was not included in the dinner price. But that was ok. We sampled all of the things and left happy and content. For a make as you order sit down restaurant the speed of food delivery was impressive. The main wall was used as a multi projector screen and my kiddos loved the underwater photos and cute Japanese characters. Did I mention the food was awesome too?!! Get the coconut balls. They are warm break balls filled with warm gooey coconut.

This is my 2nd time and both times we got the all you can eat option and it's definitely worth it. It's made to order which makes the experience even better, I do hate that I haven't gotten a chance to try the buns which I think are off the menu now. The tempura shrimp, hibachi chicken, fried pork gyoza and green tea ice cream is so good. The sushi is my favorite tho, I've tried 4 different types and none disappointed. The staff is so friendly and nice and I love the ambiance. If you haven't tried this place, then what are you waiting on? 10 out of 10 recommend!!!

I tried the sora roll which is: spicy yellowtail and cucumber, topped with yellowtail and avocado, crispy shallots, masago, spring onions, and yuzu miso reduction. THIS WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! I probably could've eaten two. I will 100% be back very soon to have this again lol. I also tried their brussel sprouts and really loved those too! They were cooked and flavored perfectly. Just drove around the corner onto a Main Street, not South Blvd, n viola there was street parking on the side, no signs for time limits. All good. It was for a late lunch with visiting friends. Atmosphere for this meetup made us stay later than we should have bc I think we stayed til around 4:30pm? Lunch service finished maybe around 2:30-2:45? Felt badly for the person at the reception but he said it was no problem. I hv bn to Yama in Waverly a couple of times n now Yama Loso. Both serve a modern twist to Asian dishes. I love traditional Japanese meals but I also enjoy twists in recipes once in a while. Spicy edamame for starters. Looked great but I can't eat spice at the moment so I can't rate it tho my friends did eat it all up. Ate the sushi rice bowl but w/o the spicy aioli sauce n asked for something else which was on the sweet side. Comforting meal, not overwhelming, just right. Edamame, cucumbers, yellow pickled daikon, tuna, salmon, avocado. A simple lunch was all I needed. Then, the hamachi neck part came grilled, not on the menu but if they hv it they'll serve it tender n juicy. Only reason I left a star out was bc of the parking. Other than that, I'd probably go there again if I'm on that side of Charlotte but for me Waverly is closest.

Sadly, there is just not much as far as decent selection within at least 30+ minutes driving in the area. As of now June 2022, they are ONLY DOING TAKE OUT. So if you want to eat there, please call to see if they are open. They do take orders for takeout by phone as well. The staff I have dealt with are always very pleasant and they are extremely fast for the quality of food. My first time in I was delighted to see they had my favorite Thai specialty on the menu, Pad Prik Khing, and it may be the best rendition of it I have had anywhere! As with most places they offer their entree in a range of spice, I typically get "hot" and it is not as hot a a lot of other places, so if you want really hot, go for "Thai hot". Chef Thai is definitely a great place and I hope they continue to do well as they are definitely one of the best quality restaurants in the surrounding area, even though they may not be very well known.

Initially when we walked by the store front I was not impressed and was actually making my way to another restaurant located at the back of the food hall. While I was looking around, I happened to turn around and see a gentleman eating a massive sushi burrito. I immediately interrupted his eating and inquired where he had gotten it. He of course directed me back to Flip Sushi. We spoke to the lady behind the counter who informed us that the customer was eating their OCEAN LOVERS poke bowl but it had been made into a burrito. She stated any of their bowls could be made into a burrito and we could add or subtract any ingredient(s). The Ocean Lovers included: Tuna, Yellowtail, Salmon, Shrimp, Seaweed Salad, Avocado, Edamame, Cucumber, Carrots, Rice. we opted to omit the Yellowtail and add double tuna with spicy mayo. When we got the burrito it was HUGE. It is definitely big enough for 2 people with healthy appetites' to share. When we were finished we had to go back and talk to the young lady behind the counter and complement her on the food. We ended up finding out she was actually the chef who had created the menu. We could not stop raving about the roll. The rice mirin used in the rice was perfectly seasoned for the rice; not too sweet and not too sour. The vegetables were fresh and crisp and the fish was fresh and flavorful. I loved the roll so much I could have just eaten a veggie one and been completely satisfied (this is a BIG compliment coming from me because I am a major meat and potatoes girl). The only negative thing I can say about this place is that it has a lack of advertising. The walls of the restaurant/booth are painted black and there are no pictures of any of the food; only the neon sign and the menu. I feel the business is really missing out on an opportunity to sell this amazing food by not showing any of it. Had I not seen that one customer's food, I would never had know what I was missing
