This was such a nice buffet. Super clean, well lit, plenty of tables, staff was nice, abs superb. This buffet is a lot closer to home so we gave it a try. Prices were reasonable. Food was good. Seafood options were great. Sushi looked amazing as well. Few things my family were looking for were white rice (they do have, you just have to ask), an ice cream machine (they do have frozen hard ice cream -no toppings), more dessert options, and more sauce options. Little things that can be solvable. But I'd def be back. My kid loved the fried chicken and my family loved everything else about it. It's nice to eat and then walk around the outlets. The food is very good. The service is good. I rate SAKURA SUSHI & GRILL BUFFET a 1-star because they all people to eat over the food that is on the food line. You do not go to a food line and put food on your plate and then use your fingers to eat some of that food that's on your plate instead of going to your table you go to put additional food on your plate. Now you're greasing up the utensils and your cross contaminating those additional utensils. THIS IS NASTY. THIS IS UNSANITARY. THIS IS HOW CROSS CONTAMINATION OCCURS. When the management is informed about a customer putting food on their plate and then eating some of that food over the rest of the food at the buffet and then adding more food to their plate and eating that food over the buffet food line this is incredibly sad and unprofessional to do nothing about it. THIS IS NASTY. THIS IS UNSANITARY. THIS IS DEFINITELY ONE MEANS ON HOW CROSS-CONTAMINATION HAPPENS. Unfortunately, our visit ruined a birthday celebration. We had previously had breakfast at your restaurant and really enjoyed it, which is why we decided to celebrate a birthday here. Based on the photos, we expected something special and delicious. Sadly, the reality was very disappointing. On the weekend, some items that were available at breakfast -- such as boiled beef and desserts -- were not offered. The oysters were available, but they were impossible to eat due to a very strong, unpleasant smell and awful taste. The lobster tail was drowned in grease, making it inedible. Ironically, the food quality at breakfast was much better than on the weekend, even though weekend prices were almost twice as high. There were very few vegetables. The mozzarella sticks were simply a solid piece of cheese that wasn't even melted. The sushi that had been sitting out for a while was dried out; the avocado was black instead of fresh green. It was extremely disappointing and upsetting. We specifically postponed the celebration to the weekend to come to your restaurant, expecting a much higher level of quality. read more

The place is nice and the food was great but customer services sucks and needs improvement like the first time I went there after I got off my 12 hour shift it was going very well around the beginning but when it was towards the end when I was gonna pay for my food, when 4 waitresses came to make sure I payed at the front even tho it was my first time being there, I felt discriminated against like damn do I look that suspicious that you need that many people so to make sure I can pay 20 dollars? and I still left a tip , second time it was good at first but it seems like it's always at the very end when you're gonna pay that they drop the nice friendly act and don't try to hide anymore, and they rushed me to pay quickly with a attitude keep in mind the place wasn't busy around that time :( , again place is beautiful and love the sushi there but I don't think I'm gonna come back read more

This recently opened Sakura location has some good as well as some not so good features. It is apparently the only functioning restaurant on the entire 4th floor of the Empire Outlets Mall. So it's an isolated place to be visiting at night. I recommend taking the elevator directly from the underground parking garage to get to it. The staff smiles and is welcoming. One major problem that stands out is the very peculiar floor plan! There's sloping floors, steps, ramps, and tight awkward corners to try to reach some of the steamed items. Worst of all is where they located the sushi & sashimi counter. It's very near the main entrance and has inadequate shields protecting the food. The dining area is nicely decorated and has comfortable seating in booths or at tables. The food selection is typical for a Chinese buffet. There's plenty of seafood to choose from if you're having the dinner menu (this is priced much higher than the lunch menu, of course). If you're looking for an unlimited abundance of food for your meal then you'll probably be satisfied here. read more
