Finding good Asian food in Ohio, especially Akron Ohio, is no easy feat. Although not the worst experience I've had, the food was average to me. I do not love how many restaurants do not use lunch menus on Sundays - this is one of them. Ordered tonkatsu as recommended which came with miso soup. Service was fast.

Loved this place, the service was VERY fast even though it was busy, the martini was great, and really creative sushi. Mine was definitely top 3 I've ever had. Fair pricing too. Amazing!

I don't come very often, due to distance, but this is my favorite place to get sushi. When I went to California on vacation I expected the sushi to be better at the coast - but I still like this place in Ohio more! Prices seem good too. It is dark low-light ambience but that just makes it more special. A large menu item of good bento and more than just sushi. I brought someone from Japan here once and he said while it may not be 100% authentic, he agreed it was good!

Sakura is by far, my favorite sushi spot in the area. It is not fishy and they have a wide selection of options to choose from. I always get the Angel Roll with the spicy Crab on the side, and it never disappoints.

Shabby looking parking lot, but overlooked it because of the Yelp reviews. The hostess was very friendly & I sat myself at the high top bar on the left of the sushi bar. I asked my very friendly server, Tiffany, about one of the Specialty Drinks, the Wasabi Ginger Martini ($10). She said it was her favorite so I ordered it & it was refreshing w/ only a hint of Wasabi. No lunch specials on Sundays or I would have ordered the Chirashi which was a great deal. The lunch special had 10 pieces for $13.95 & dinner entree had 15 for $18.95, including Miso Soup & salad. Too much food for me so I ordered the Salmon Avocado Roll ($6.25) & Pepper Tuna ($9.25) w/ no smelt & extra ginger, but they charged me $0.50 for extra wasabi. I also ordered a Perrier Water which was $3.25, basically half of a roll. I was going to get a hot green tea, but they didn't have Splenda. Not a problem, but it got pretty pricey in a miscellaneous way. Overall, the food, service & ambience were outstanding. It was $31.23 + $6 tip for one person so if you're on a budget, come on the weekdays for lunch. As I said, the lunch specials look fantastic & half the price. I am on vacation & in Vegas, these prices would be normal to me. Also they have a large Specialty drink list & full bar. Special entrees on a chalkboard, which I wish I saw before I ordered, but next time. I do highly recommend this sushi spot & will be back.

Had a great time eating here! Sushi was very fresh and there were unique items on the menu. Our server was very attentive. We were checked on frequently, and waters and teas were refilled frequently without having to ask. Enjoyed the spicy crab salad! The crab, shrimp and octopus was on a bed of fresh cucumbers. Yummy! Ate Box B for my entree. Super good! The sushi, California roll and sashimi was very tender. Tasted super fresh too! The presentation seemed to be important here too. The hostess thanked us as we were leaving the restaurant.

If you want quality sushi for the price, this is probably the place you should consider checking out. Attentive servers with cozy atmosphere. Price is also very reasonable. They also have lunch special for even more affordable price. I recommend you to consider checking this place out if you are nearby!

My only complaint is that the menu description was wrong and it said the salmon roll came with cream cheese (I know that's usually a Philadelphia roll, but that one had no description and the salmon roll said cream cheese, so i went with it.) We had the spicy kani salad, edamame, and four rolls. All were fresh and tasted good. This seems like a solid spot for takeout but not a place I make the trip to dine-in for.
