The 5th girl that's Sakd me off.

Barbie doesn't like actual shafts, she prefers Saks. That's actually not true. It's supposed to be cheaper than Sak's itself, with similarly great footwear and clothing, but honestly it's pretty expensive. A lot of people love this store but the prices are a little prohibitive. Barbie loves browsing in here but we rarely buy anything due to the pricing. This Sugar Land location is actually better than a lot of the other ones we have been to though.

This location is a mess. The store is dirty and the stuff looks OLD . Water was pouring out of the ceiling everywhere. Customer service is nonexistent. Not what you expect from a Saks 5th!

Off 5th closed their Stafford (Fountains) location a while back and in its place, this new location opened in Sugar Land. I had only been to the one in the Fountains twice before, but I definitely like this new location better. The inside reminds me of a duty free store in the airport. It's all white with sections for perfume and accessories as well as clothing. As I looked around, there weren't enough 'helpful' people in there. I saw some people working, but they seemed to be avoiding people rather than helping them. We looked at the men's shirts but what we found is merchandise that would never ben found in Saks First Avenue. The clothing was low quality and at a price that didn't make sense. My husband did end up getting two shirts but I am scared to see how long they last. I looked at the purses which I have been doing all over the city recently. I noticed the Michael Kors purses were a different line than you find at other department stores and at the Michael Kors store in the Galleria. I think that everything here is made at a lower quality specifically for this lower end store. Skip it. Overall, I'd rather go to Saks and pay double for really nice quality stuff than come here and pay far too much for low quality items.

ROUGH customer service experience. Was there on a Wednesday afternoon completely dead with associates standing around throughout the store. I asked one woman if I could use the dressing room and she said yes - and the continued to fold clothes without opening a room for me. After 5 minutes of me standing right there waiting for someone to let me in, I had to ask her a second time if she would unlock the door for me. She looked around thinking someone else would again help me. Just open the door for god's sake. Then, I needed help in jewelry. There were three people not doing a thing by the register and I asked if someone could help me. The associate says "one minute" and never comes back. Now he's back at the register and he says "ohhh yes jewelry" and points to the one person working in the department who was helping a customer for a super long time. He was clearly nowhere near about to finish but yet they couldn't just open the cabinets when they had absolutely nothing to do. I ended up dropping all of my items that I had planned to buy on top of the cabinets and leaving without purchasing a thing. Just terrible terrible service all around.

Since when did the Fountains location close and this one OPEN?? Man, I'm out the loop.. the Sugar Land loop! I found this location while making a trip with my sister to DSW next door. If you've ever been to the Fountains location, you'll see why I questioned myself right when I walked in, "Are we not in Off 5th??" It's because it was such a different feel than what I'm used to. The other location was much more low key compared to the new SL location. This one is a young and modernized Off 5th, with a bright and vivid lighting. You walk straight into the middle of the store to find aaaaaaall the accessories and checkout counter.. this is what separates the men and women clothing sections. Shoes are in the back, as usual. Some spottings were Fendi Sunglasses for 99.00, 7 For All Mankind jeans for 169.00, shoes 40% off and some gorgeous Calvin Klein cocktail dresses for 120.00. If you're used to buying designer brands at regular costs and/or paying higher costs for great quality, you learn to appreciate Off 5th costs a lot more. So we wondered how long they'd been open and how coincidental it is that Nordstrom Rack is right next door. I'm guessing if the same workers as last night stick to being as inattentive as they were and continue to ignore their customers as badly as they did, then Nordstrom Rack won't have any worries. Jes' sayin'.

I altar'd my opinion of Sugar Land when I came shopping here on many occasions. They just have so…read moremany stores, many of them chains. We're not big fans of the store, but the employees at this particular location in the Sugarland mall are pretty friendly. We come here now and again while walking through the whole Mall which we do often, but we haven't really spent much money here. This is because even though Barbie likes quite a few of the things she finds in here, there is a religious theme, puts us off, and there is also the factor of thigh-high pricing. I mean the high pricing, but thigh highs are pretty expensive too. We would know.

This is a store geared toward younger ladies and teens. Precious clothes and accessories, but if…read moreit's not on sale, chances are it's pricey. My daughter found a few things she liked here, but after checking the tags, she had to put a few things back. We saw several things that we recently purchased at Francesca's at lower prices. The staff was sort of hit or miss. There was an associate on the floor who seemed a little bothered with us, and never offered any assistance. Luckily the cashier was helpful. She was clearly a motivated salesperson. She came from behind the counter to explain the layout of the store and to make sure we were all good. Bottom line is that we spent more than we planned to, so bravo to that cashier. She's got a bright future in sales.

Today I visited this location and at the checkout, I was trying to return items from an online…read moreorder (eligible for in store return). Walking up to the checkout, the woman was really nice but instantly had a mood change when I said I had a return. One of the items I received in the mail is not what I ordered (I ordered jeans and got a cardigan sweater) but it's still sealed so I requested a return. She just stared at me lol...and the woman next to her mumbled I have to mail it in. I couldn't 100% hear and the woman assisting me still didn't speak so the woman next to her explained that since the items have to match, I can't return in store. I said that's fine, my other item is exactly what I ordered, but didn't fit so I am returning it. I handed over the bag that it came in (delivered last night) and the receipt. The woman then decided to speak and said "we need a receipt"...even though I have handed it to her. I said this is the receipt and she responded "yea that's what we need" and glared. Ok. lol. She glanced at the dress, glanced at me, glanced at the receipt and said the numbers don't match. The numbers do match. I said yes they do match and she said they don't without looking to check her error and at this point I don't feel like dealing with her vibe so I grabbed my items and repeatedly said thanksssss while she tried to tell me they do not match and as I left the store they laugh as if something was funny. If she was confused say that but as soon as I had said a return she didn't want to help. I don't appreciate causing a scene and being rude for nothing and I'll likely drive 15 miles out of my way than to deal with childlike behavior.

Didn't even ask me if everything was ok like how the other cashiers usually ask, she went straight…read moreto talking about my outfit and how I shouldn't be showing my body (I had leggings and a zip up sweater). Very rude of her and unprofessional I'm surprised she's a "manager". I go here often and I hope not to see her again. Made me very uncomfortable. I'm letting everyone who shops here aware of this mean spirited person. If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all and do your job! Your job is not to tell others what to wear.
