Unlike the other two outlet stores we went to (Nordstrom, Bloomie's), this square space had a lot of empty space (not trying to pack as much product as possible), and because it was focused on the highest end designers, everything was out of price range....except, the things lining the walls. Retro Rock tour t-shirts are in, and they had a decent selection of them. But because they are all brand new, one can choose the size once narrowed down. The manager of that store doesn't know how to do her job , No costumer service at all. She refuses to take my return because " it's damaged she said " she never apologized or tried to find more about the product other than looking at the screen . Maybe they can use more experience people on the to promote for manager. I ended looking on my phone to prove her that shoes are made like this originally. I love SaksoffFifth, although I go online to get stuff not in person. Best jewellery, winter coats, cashmere, swimsuits, pj's....wallets, you name it. Low prices, promos and free shipping for Saks card holders......I don't think I can think of any store online with better quality stuff for less. Only bad thing is you have to bring online stuff back to store for returns or there's a $8 or $10 return fee. So, just bring it to one of the Saks Off Fifth. They're unquestioning re returns. I recently bought some Effy Jewellery and rings that are usually $600+ are at $200 plus 20% more off. I looked at the Effy site and there's no type of discount there that compares. So, yeah. Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th. is located on the first floor. If you take the free Rosemont Entertainment shuttle. The vehicle will drop you off by the Saks. In other words, this will be the first store you see as soon as entering the main entrance. However, this won't be your favorite store at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago, and I'm very confident to say that. Why would I generate such inclusion without asking every shopper's opinion? The merchandize, from what I could tell, didn't appear to be the most fashionable, luxurious looking bunch. For example, I saw lots of "designer name brand" stuff, like Marc Jacobs, Prada, Michael Kors, and etc., yet many of them were just shoppers' bags made with PVC or other synthetic materials. Miraculously, when items are associated with world-renown designers or prestigious name brands, the prices are going to be inflated like a shooting-rocket. Other departments weren't extraordinarily amazing, either. Perhaps the clearance racks that were tagged with an additional percentage off the lowest ticketed prices were worth to take a peek. Nevertheless, without a single sales associate acknowledging your presence, I didn't see a need to pay my patronage to this store. I saw one (1) sales associate passing right in front of "my face" without a proper greeting. Why would you do that? For me as a retail manager, greeting is a must; it's how one engages the customer, builds the trust, and starts doing businesses. This store is two (2) stars too much. I hope what I saw today with sales associates' attitude was just a one-time exception. read more

Horrible customer service. I'm pregnant, a manager was called over 20 minutes ago and the cashier is ignoring helping me with my return when I was ahead of all the others in line. A simple return that should have taken 5 minutes with a lookup on my phone number and credit card is taking over a half hour. I came Saturday and returns were down. Now the manager is addressing someone else's issue that I was ahead of. Did i mention I'm pregnant and anemic? So I can't stand for long periods of time. read more

...this place is a mess and I mean company. The idea to trick people to come in by selling false saving ideas is so old ! No wonder this retail is dying ... ...so for Black Friday deals they had huge advertisement 50 % percent off , but then it's only for full price items (remind you: this is "Saks OFF 5th" not "Saks Fifth Avenue" - everything is on sale here) so anyway, the discount applies to "full price" items but yet again not all of them , and then it does apply to clearance items but yet again, not all of them ... I am getting confused just writing this... I was really gonna give up and just walk out if that store and that hassle - but the lady Jennifer Shimizu really patiently explained everything to me and walked me thru my selection helping me to finalize my purchase decision. Thank you , and only because of you this review is two stars - can not go one star behind , simply because it's 2020 and todays consumer is smarter , your "scam" to get my email to send me 20 dollars gif card but then give out all the fine print rules in order be able to use it is so old !!!! I wish I could give 0 stars and 0 stars on customer service!! Wow unbelievable of what I witnessed yesterday!!! The African American manager was shouting at customers very aggressively and held up the line so long causing a very big scene at the registers, which is the reason why I left and didn't buy anything! Not ONLY did she snapped on those customers, but she was screaming at her own employee and putting her finger in her face very aggressively as well!!! I truly felt so uncomfortable for the young lady and hope corporate looks into that manager and ACTUALLY does something about it!! read more

I love coming here! This is the best outlet mall, definitely like the options they have at Chicago fashion shops off 294. Great spot for Rosemont and they have restaurants and bars there as well. Strolled in looking for a birthday present for my sister's 40th. Found some great options at Saks Off 5th! I put some stuff on hold and the staff was great help! Came back and ended up with a Ted Baker watch, and a Moschino clutch. My sister was more than excited when she saw these gifts! Thanks for making my life easy. read more

I normally love Saks Off 5th (who doesn't love great clothes at a bargain?) but have never been treated so poorly as I was at the Rosemont Mall. There was no one to help at the dressing rooms so we went into an open one. Halfway through a saleswoman is yelling at us about breaking rules that we had no idea about it because there was no one there and no sign. We apologized profusely, rushed through and quickly got in line just to get out of there. Four registers - one ignored us when we asked if she was open and just walked away. One refused to believe me when I said I was next after a white woman cut in front of me (I'm Asian). When the third woman at a register finally helped us, she was so rude, impatient with us and gave us multiple disdainful looks. She asked if we had the rewards program and my mum said, "Yes, more," which is the name of the program. And the woman just kept staring at us like we were stupid. Then we had had a bad experience in the past of having clothes with sensors still left on them so my mum was telling me to make sure to double check. The woman then rudely said "That's what I'm doing" and we tried to explain but she just blew us off. When we walked out - guess what - the machines went off because she had left a sensor. Just an absolutely horrible customer service experience where every single person who worked there made us feel like we didn't belong there and we were in their way. Plus, it was rather dirty and disorganized and there was no one around to help. Not that they would've wanted to help us anyway, apparently. read more

Extremely positive experience with the customer service here. I had a really unique situation which typically a retailer would likely just brush me off without a receipt, but the manager(?) that was on duty took the time to help me with locating my purchase in a variety of ways and at the end even made an exception for my case..even though I was ready to chalk it off as a loss, this guy wouldn't send me off without resolve. I really appreciated that, made me feel valued as a customer, and I left happily. That itself will bring me back to this store to shop knowing if I had issues in the future, this store would take care of me. read more

I did not like this customer service. Employees could not print out a receipt for 20 minutes and offered nothing for the time wasted. Asked to speak to manager who came to us looking like she just woke up and said, "It is what it is." Definitely the last time you will see myself and my wife here. Not worth going. Never come here and ask them to ship for you!So I bought a diamond last Saturday and asked the sales help me ship it to my mom. But I don't get any tracking number or confirmation for that. I called customer service to confirm if they already sent it out on Monday. The call last 40 minutes and I've been told they are not sure and I can only wait for UPS confirmation thru email. So I don't even know where my diamond is now! It's already Thursday today but I still don't get anything and UPS don't work on weekends. I think my mom cannot get it on Mother's Day anyway. Horrible customer service! I returned some sneakers June 12, 2021. I received a partial refund for $200 in merchandise credit and $134.68 to my credit card. I attempted to use the merchandise credit card in early August and it was declined. To my surprise the credit was NEVER put on the card. I reached out to their Corporate office and the Rosemont store Manager multiple times and yet to get resolution. To make things even worse Corporate office has proof that the card was not loaded or used but the information is on my receipt. I was told they are waiting for a response from the India staff!! I was not pleased with the customer service at this location. I had an exceptionally bad experience when the cash rep scanned the box instead of the actual shoes inside. When I pointed out the cost difference(of almost $60!) he first told me that I was wrong. After a few moments, he figured out that I was indeed correct- but he wasn't able to void the transaction. The only manager in the store was helping another customer and it took them 20 minutes to get to me and help correct my charge. Overall it was a frustrating experience, and I will stick to the Schaumburg location when I can. read more

I recently went to this store to return an item I had purchased at a Saks off 5th when I was in Florida. I was worried bc I was close to the 30 days expiration, especially bc the other reviews for this store are critical of the personnel. However, unlike what the reviews said, the sales people were very polite, knowledgeable, and understanding. I was given a "refund at current price" or "full price exchange" option, both close in price. I chose the latter, and I found two pairs of gorgeous sandals, both name brand and trending for this year, at half the price they sell for at Zappos or Amazon, both of which I checked after I got home. I highly recommend this store. It looks less "shopped" than many Chicago locations. You need to come ready to bargain shop and don't expect everything to be rock bottom price. I badly wanted a Burberry scarf but it was over three hundred dollars discounted. Yet there are many deals- just be patient and thorough :). read more

The clothes selection & designers I wouldn't say it's adequate to prices. Old collections cost more than they should be. I'm giving stars for shoes only. Greatest selection of shoes. Top designers, lots to choose from. Prices are ok. Compare to TJ Maxx even. But the mess is insane. No one cleans or any staff organize shoes back on shelves. Only 3 cashiers working. They have used Hermes bags for sale in glass box display. Kelly bag is$25,000. You can buy brand new one. Overpriced. read more
