Hibachi chicken with mushrooms, soy sauce on top because it was all one color before.
    Elijah G.

I really wanted to give this more stars because the service was decent and the food was ready very quickly. Unfortunately, the food was not good. The chicken tasted like it was rapidly thawed and it was very dry. The rice had a few peas and I found a kernel of corn but other than that it was just white rice. The restaurant itself is dingy so I don't think I would want to eat inside. I did really appreciate the amount of shrimp sauce they gave me. It did not taste like traditional yum yum sauce but was in a large cup which made up for the lack of flavor. All together it's the only hibachi spot in the area so it will do.

    Kids meal teriyaki chicken!

Culver's in Belmont gets 5 stars for very important reasons. We have never been to Culver's. We…read morenormally avoid fast food entirely. But, a good friend told us to go there at least once, So we did. We will likely be back again in the future. The #1 great thing was, the first thing we noticed, is a clean dining room. A clean counter. Plenty of light. Super clean place. Secondly, our cashier was a giant man, very young, He kind of greeted us like it was his first day at work and he was proud to be there. That guy knew everything about everything on the menu. He was kind and helpful and should probably get a raise. #3 We just had to sit down and wait for our food. Our table was clean. The floor was clean. The windows were clean. There were families sitting around enjoying a day out. I could see the constant flow of cars picking up their food from the drive-thru. Lots of cars. Evidently, Culver's prepares food to order, so it takes a minute, but it's totally worth it. #4 The food. My wife really enjoyed her Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which was crispy, fresh, and great. She couldn't finish it, so I did. Her fries were fries. Nothing to love or hate there. Her strawberry milkshake was pretty good. I just got a Deluxe Single Burger, and it was about as great as you could have made it in a restaurant. I wish I'd ordered a double, because the hamburger patty was a bit thin, but I expected that. My onion rings were great. "Extra Crispy" according to my cashier's recommendation. #5 Price. We paid $23 and change for possibly the best fast food we've had in years. I thought my burger was a bit thin, but the price was reasonable for what I received. Regardless, it looked great. Fresh tomato and lettuce, nobody smashed it into a hockey puck. It was really nice to see that at a fast food place. If Culver's in Belmont NC keeps doing everything this way, we'll be back on those off days and power outages simply because it's the best burger place we've ever seen. Next time, I'll be trying their fish sandwich, because I was told it's really great. My wife will probably get another Crispy Chicken Sandwich because there's absolutely nothing bad about it. Good Stuff! Thank you, Culver's, for restoring my faith in "fast food".

We stopped at Culver's for their consistently good custard, this time getting a custard milk shake…read more The service was great, the shake was not so much. If you're here for the custard, don't have them dilute it with milk and add Hershey's syrup. It takes the great flavor and makes it not so great. That said, the service was friendly and fast. The restaurant is clean. It was made properly and all that. It just wasn't the great custard we really love. [Review 676 of 2026 - 4760 in North Carolina - 25857 overall]

The worst fast food experience of my life... and I'm 55 years-old!…read more The dining room was FILTHY and none of the sinks worked in the bathrooms. There were tons of employees standing around doing nothing except trying their best to not make eye contact with you. The food was just awful - a half-cooked patty melt, fries that tasted three days old. There's just nothing to recommend about this place, other than it's open 24 hours a day... but I'd just as soon go to Waffle House if I'm hungry at 3AM.

Mind you, two other cars had ordered and moved to the window from the second lane before we moved over into it. Once we got into the second lane, nothing was said to us at all. Instead, now someone was taking the car sitting in the first lanes order and we sat in the second lane, in silence, for another 10 mins. We ultimately decided to just pull up to the window and tell them our orders and let them know that no one serviced us at all in the second lane. The employee claimed that she was saying "hello" the whole time as if we were ignoring her, but there was literally no sound come from the ordering board speaker at all! After we place our order at the pick up window, we were told to go park on the side of the building where we waited almost 30 mins! We went inside to check on our order status and learned that no one had fixed our order at all??? Once we did finally get our food, yes it was freshly made and hot, but I had no appetite for it at all anymore. Service was HORRIBLE! My overall rate of experience : 0/10

Sometimes simple of the way to go. Lettuce, American Cheese, tomatoes, crinkled pickles, onions, and their "good good sauce." This all came together with the 100% premium angus beef (antibiotic and hormone free) smash-burgers perfectly cooked. The fried were very good, nicely crispy, but not overdone. Service was friendly and very quick. I highly recommend this place if you want a great burger.

Optimist Hall itself is a very food-centric, upscale food hall with a ton of vendors, so the atmosphere is energetic and fun. Seating can be a little challenging during peak dinner hours since so many people are grabbing food from different spots, but when the weather is nice there's plenty of outdoor seating. Harriet's keeps their burger formula refreshingly simple. It's a classic smash burger done right--made to order with a straightforward menu that doesn't overcomplicate things. There's usually a line, but it moves pretty quickly, and the burgers come out hot and fresh. One of the best parts of eating here is the flexibility of the food hall experience. While you're waiting, you can grab a craft beer, a glass of wine, or even browse for dessert from one of the other vendors. Insider tip: Come with a group if you can. It's a great place to share fries and let everyone explore different vendors around the hall. Parking is fairly easy with the nearby garage, which makes the whole experience even more convenient. Overall, Harriet's is a fun, delicious stop for a smash burger, especially if you're already enjoying the energy of Optimist Hall.
