I had the opportunity to visit Battleball with my family recently. I reached out via email to make…read morea reservation (which I found wasn't really necessary for a weeknight) and to confirm that the activity would be ok for young children. I was told that there is a game appropriate for all ages, but the younger kids might not enjoy it quite as much. We decided to give it a go anyway. Check-in was pretty easy-we did need to sign a waiver, which was pretty standard. The girl helping us was very friendly and gave us great instructions. Before you play the game, all the participants suit-up in head socks, masks and vests (the vests are not necessary if you're playing the "all ages" game and don't want to keep score.) The guns are a little heavy-not too bad for older kids and adults, but they were a little hard for the young ones to handle. The course was fun with lively music to get you in the mood. For people who want to watch, but not participate-there's an observation room where you can enjoy the game without having to play. Overall, it was a fun activity, but I'd recommend it for older kids (10+)

Let me start by saying that my 5 brothers and I get together every year and hang out for a weekend…read more There is always some type of competition and this year we had several activities lined up including Battleball. I was a little skeptical as we have previous experience with traditional paintball and these "bullets" are not filled with paint. With that said, there is a huge advantage to that since you can pick up more bullets and reload your gun as you play. Needless to say we had an absolute blast. The staff was friendly and helpful before and during play and the cost very affordable. I cannot finish this review without mentioning these last 2 details. One of my brothers flights was delayed and was not able to play as he had not arrived until 10:30pm. We decided after we picked him up that we would try to make it back to Battleball and see if there was any chance we could squeeze in one last game before they closed at 11. I believe we arrived at 10:50 and the staff was already cleaning up and getting ready to close and go home. With a little begging we were allowed to play 1 more game. (This is important because this was Saturday night and they are closed Sunday and they were booked up on Monday) again we had an absolute blast playing that last game and could not thank the staff enough!! Lastly, I'm the commotion and excitement of that last game I left my phone (which also had my I.d. And credit card in it, which means I can't fly home if I don't get it back) I realized this Saturday night and again they are closed Sunday... well we sent a fb message and they responded and sent one of their managers to meet us Sunday afternoon (even though they are closed) so that I could get my phone!! The level of customer service here is above and beyond anything I have experienced in a long time!!

Luckily my fiancee knows about in-soles and directed me to the pair I needed. I promptly inserted those suckers as soon as I left the store, and I am happy with the purchase so far. As far as the free weights, who knew they are so crazy expensive? I have a couple single free weights that I needed to complete my pair, but decided against it due to the price. Unfortunately, it has been a little difficult to find used weights online, probably due to everyone working out at home 'cause of COVID. I was also able to find some sweet working out fingerless, backless gloves for women (for rowing and free weights; I've been building some unwanted calluses lately) They are surprisingly flattering, and they have nice suede padding on the palms. They were a very reasonable price, and they fit really well. Customer service was good, nothing extraordinary.

I get that there is no public restroom, but not very sympathetic response when directed to cart my 3 year old to another store just to come back and ask for help (which I wasn't getting in the first place). Good reminder why I shop online. Able to come home and buy the items on Amazon much easier, quicker and cheaper. Wanted help and to support brick and mortar, but didn't feel supported as a solo parent trying to buy sports gear for my son.

My husband had to call multiple times for one of the girls up at the register to come and help us with shoe sizes. Both girls on their phones, up front. Finally, one of the girls notice and starts to walk back towards us. Then a guy comes walking out of who knows where, approaching the girl and telling her she needed to stay at the back end and watch the area. Perhaps the store manager? He handled the situation very professionally and the girl stayed at the back end. I mean come on, if you have customers in your store you should NOT be on your phone unless you're on your own time, like on lunch. What a crazy generation we live in now. We finally got assisted, tried on sizes and we were ready to check out. At the register, another customer walks in and THAT person is greeted with a "welcome in". Uumm, yeah, I wasn't expecting that because we weren't greeted when both girls were taking care of a previous customer. Strange. They had sales going on and while walking around looking at the sales, they weren't too bad. I haven't shopped at a BIG 5 in over 9 years. So I'm not too sure what their prices would be like. They seemed pretty cheap compared to DICKS sporting goods and Scheels. The store is clean and organized and well maintained. They have an average amount of inventory, not a whole bunch. We needed navy blue leggings. All we saw were black, dark grey and multi-colored ones. Not a whole lot of color options to choose from. The sizes range from S-XXL and you'll be able to find the sizes needed because they're stocked up with each size between that range. Overall store quality is nice. Customer service, could be MUCH better. For me, the service is always my first impression as soon as I step into the doors. There's no time to be an unhappy or distracted retail worker. You're on the clock. It doesn't take a lot of energy to throw on a smile and greet everyone walking through the doors.

I was very impressed with the manager who I interacted with several times as well as the other employees encountered. The manager even helped load it in my van. I will definitely be back to this location! Excellent customer service!!!
