Don't waste your money. Touts itself as a "veteran-owned company", but it can't be, at least not a veteran who is worth a S***! I ordered a couple pairs of trousers and shirts last August to the tune of $135.00. I received an e-mail from them THAT DAY that my order was "on it's way to me". They stated that I would received shipping information 24 hours after it was shipped. Didn't hear anything from them for a week. Upon me contacting them for the shipping information, I was advised that they were "a little behind right now", but would be notified at a later date about when it was shipped. I responded back to them that I had already been told that the items were "on the way", but advised that I needed the items pretty quickly and couldn't wait, so I requested that the order be cancelled and my money refunded, per their "100% satisfaction guaranteed" statement on their website. Well...crickets. Never heard from them again. I left numerous messages and e-mails, but didn't hear back at all, which invalidates their "response will be made within 24 hours of receipt" of a contact. I threatened to report their fraudulent activity to the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission consumer fraud agency. I finally received a "shipping status update" e-mail when the package was finally shipped, a full month after I ordered it. It's still in the box, unopened, and I'm still trying to find a way to return the items for a refund...I'm just that stubborn. Don't use these guys...they're con artists and will rip you off! If this company is owned by a vet, which I doubt, he was probably bounced out with a Bad Conduct Discharge, which is also probably why he opened his own business, because nobody would hire him with a BCD. They're the worst, most dishonest company I've ever dealt with, and have left negative reviews anywhere I could. Don't be a victim...buy your supplies elsewhere! They don't respond to e-mails. Terrible! I ordered some items quite some time ago, I waited patiently to get them. Before I knew it two months had passed and my deadline for needing the equipment was rapidly approaching. I called and emailed, I even went so far to post on their Facebook page. The only response I got was on the Facebook page. I guess you have to call them out publicly to get their attention. I received my order shortly thereafter. The products are great, but nearly every other step of the process is maddening. I finally was told that the reason it took so long was because of some software transitions or another. A few weeks ago I need some new pieces of equipment so I though, everyone is entitled to a mistake here and there, maybe I was just unlucky, bad timing or whatever, I will give them another shot. My order didn't take near as long to get here, but it wasn't the 2 days I paid for. My order was split into two, but one of the items didn't arrive in the package it was supposed to arrive in and a second item broke as soon as I removed it from the bag (literally I had had it out for a total of 3 minutes). Again I called, and emailed, it took over a week to get response to my email and I still haven't heard had a response to my voice-mails. To their credit, they have made things right up to this point, but it takes them so long to even respond to a call or email that a reasonable customer is probably already irate by the time they get a response. After 2 weeks of not getting a shipping/tracking email like OpsGear stated in the order confirmation, I inquired. OpsGear replied saying the pants they advertised is out of stock for the next 9 months. So if I didn't ask, they assumed that I find it acceptable to get it 9 months from now? The other item I ordered I never received but they can't confirm they shipped it since there is no tracking info. So unprofessional. I asked for a refund. Been given the run around of we're working on it from jared@opsgear.com for the last 15 days. Still haven't seen my refund. Prompt to take your $$$. Even when they are out of stock & drag their feet in returning $$ for service/product not rendered. Very unethical business. This company is a scam. Do not order from them. I emailed and called moments after i made an order saying i forgot to use my 15% discount code. Joshua email me back and said they will issue me a credit and never did. He didn't even ask for my order number because i accidentally emailed him with a different email used for the order so he would not have known - never emailed me back to do a follow up. At this point i got the feel that this business is the type that just want to take your money and leave you hanging so I ask for a RMA do to returns on a thursday and cancellation of all items that were not sent - its been almost 3 weeks. Emailed me back to ask why, then i said i just want do a return. Never email me back with a RMA. Emailed the next day and no email reply back. I did that every day with no one responding back. And the 6th day i got a email that says my items have been ship and then some other guy Jared emailed me back the same day saying here is your RMA and we will give you store credit. I ordered a field jacket in late December 2015. They initially sent the jacket in the wrong colour which arrived in fairly good time. I returned it and have been waiting to receive it ever since. It is now April. I have sent at least a dozen emails trying to sort this problem out. The last 2 have been ignored aside from their pre-formatted auto response. Have since done some online searching for reviews and have discovered that there are numerous other instances of clients who have paid for items that they have never received. I have filed a formal complaint in the FBI's IC3 Internet fraud website. I may live in another country but we're certainly not without resources. read more

I had to cancel and order and, after numerous emails and unanswered phone calls, they finally agreed to cancel order and refund cc charges. While in the past, I never had any issues. I currently have two pending orders from March, 2014 that have yet to be completed. While half of one order has been received, the second order hasn't even moved to my understanding. When I have called they keep talking about "warehouse issues" and tracking and whatnot. While that may be the case, no one from their team has contacted me regarding the movement of the rest of the purchases. While I might be an outliner with issues, there are a few pending complaints on the Better Business Bureau against Opsgear. My recommendation is to use either SKD Tactical or any of the other numerous milspec gear website out there and save yourself the trouble. Opsgear can add me to their kill list. Do Not buy anything from this company!!! "I'm never buying anything from the company again. I've made my first and last purchase over a month and a half ago, still have not received it. The customer service sucks, I have sent 4 emails and 2 voicemails. I have yet to get in contact with a actual person. Only to be emailed my purchase is on its way and it's being shipped from out of the country. This was not mention on the website of being out of stock or shipped from a 3rd party when I made the purchase. I placed an order August 29, 2016 and received the confirmation of my order # OG-4_67_ the same day and confirmation my order was "in process". At day 12 after I placed my order and I have received no tracking # nor confirmation my items have shipped. I contacted customer September 9th and received an automated response they typically respond within 24 hours. It has now been over 48 hours (2 days) since I submitted this inquiry on my order and 14 days since I placed my order. Not only has my order not been handled in a timely manner my inquiry as to the status of my order has also not been handled in a timely manner. This is my first buying experience with your company. The shipping delay of my order is a disappointment, the lack of communication when my order was delayed is a a bigger disappointment and the lack of a response from customer support is a huge disappointment. Based on the reviews I am not the only person experiencing this problem. Seems to be a very poorly managed company. I ordered about $100 worth of gear from this website. I received a confirmation email immediately. Two days later I received an email stating some items were on back order and that I would receive items separately. Two days after that I got another email telling me the warehouse has my order. After not receiving a shipping confirmation or a tracking number, I decided to email customer service. Once again I received an immediate automated response but waited days to hear from Josh who told we via email there was a product delay and my order would ship "soon". When I asked how long soon was a got a vague response and when asking how to cancel my order it was ignored. After another week I emailed again and have not received a response. What gives? I then cancelled my order and reported fraud to my CC company. After cancelling my order, the proceeded to ship not even half of my order via 3-day UPS, claiming it was the whole order. Should've read current reviews. I did business with these "veterans" a few years ago with no issues. I placed an order almost two weeks ago and paid extra for 2-day shipping. The next day the online order page said shipped but I didn't get a tracking number or shipment notice. Two days later when my package should've arrived, nothing. They claim they've revamped the company and fixed all the issues. I'll take my business elsewhere. I didn't get so much as an apology or a shipping refund. I wish I would have read the reviews. I got scammed the same way as many other people. I placed an order with 2 day shipping because I needed a plate carrier for a mission. It never showed up, I had to run without it. I emailed and they said they were "back logged" and would get it shipped soon. No affirmative date, just soon. All the while on their site my order status is "fulfilled." So they're either out of stock or can't fill the order, and they never bothered to tell me. I purchased an ankle holster on a Sunday, and paid for 2 day delivery. I immediately received an email saying shipping information soon to follow. By Thursday I did not have my item, nor did I receive ANY communication from the company. I emailed both the Founder of the company (giant waste of time, he only passed the buck) and their customer support, but got zero response. Finally get an email on Saturday saying my item is out of stock. Horrible customer service and after doing some post-purchase research, this seems to be fairly common issue with them. I have still not received it. What's much more irritating is there choice not to contact me with even the most moronic excuse. I started a "ticket" and initially received no response. It has been 3 weeks since OPSGEAR received my returned item, and still no refund. I have received multiple emails from "Joshua," and given "Lisa's" extension (x701), but OPSGEAR simply won't provide me with the refund. I was told on 2/25 from "Joshua" that my return was received, and "The Refund process can take 3-7 business days to full process." WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I've placed three (3) orders with this company over the last 18 months. The first order was quick, and on time; I recommended to friends to use them as a Vet Owned/Vet Operated company. The second order took a longer than expected, required a phone call, and showed up in two separate packages. The third order (1 pair of pants, 2 shirts), was place on 26MAY17. I received a notice within 24 hours that the ordered had been processed and was listed as "fulfilled". Here I am 08JUN, no tracking number, and no package. I have called them three (3) times and left a message with my phone number, and order number; no return call, despite a voice mail to say, I would receive a call within 24 duty hours. I have sent two (2) emails, and one (1) facebook message; all with no reply. My last voicemail directed them to call me by 1700 CST today and explain when the order would arrive at my address or to cancel the order and refund my credit card or I would be calling the bank tomorrow morning to file fraud charges. They claim to be a Small Business, Veteran Owned/Veteran Operated which is why I used them. I like to use businesses run by fellow Veterans. Regardless of the outcome, I will not be giving them anymore of my business. After posting this review, 3 phone calls, 2 emails and a facebook post, the last phone call threatening to call the credit card company; I received an email saying the items were delayed due to the vendor but that they would be shipped today. Ops Gear sucks and looks to scam people out of their money. Their MO is telling people that their purchase is on its way and then you get nothing. When you trying calling them, you get an Automated system saying that they will route your call using state of art technology to the next available representative. I left a voicemail and I never got a call back. I sent two emails and I never heard back either. I reached out to them through IM on Facebook and the first time they asked me if I wanted a credit . I said no, just my refund. After that I tried using the IM on Facebook and I never got a response back. Stay away from these people. I wish I read other reviews here and elsewhere before I ordered from this company. I placed an order on 3/5/2014 and received an email confirmation of my order. Late On Monday 3/10 I still had not received any shipping/tracking info for my order. I sent them an email inquiring as to what's up with my order. Two days,,,no reply. I called today and spoke to Eric. He said "Apparently there was some kind of issue with your credit card. Let me call you right back." Issue with my credit card?! Ummm, no, there wasn't. And even if there was, in a weeks time you dont contact the customer to get this sorted out? No call, no email? VERY uncool. Not even two minutes later I get an email saying that my order was being processed and shipped and another from Eric saying everything had been cleared up. I looked at my online bank statement and saw that they never charged my card a week ago, but just then when I called them. Apparently the "Trouble with my credit card" was the fact that they never charged it. I run a small business myself, and know personally that mistakes get made. I get it. BUT WE give our customers something to comp them for our screw ups. Not Opsgear. I sent an email to ask that since they screwed up, would they be shipping my order next day air or express. No reply. I called them back and asked the same question,,,no, they couldn't do express shipping to comp me, AND my order STILL was not marked as being shipped. I then told them to refund my money, cancel my order and I bought all the same stuff on EBay. On this company's website's "About Us" page they go on and on about their pride in customer service, blah blah blah. Well, it definitely didn't show in my first and last experience dealing with them. And is what gets me is they target military and police as their main customer base. I'm just a civilian who wants the stuff I ordered. I AM DISGUSTED! I literally cannot believe this company is still in business! A while back I had placed an order for a pair of gloves, and after weeks of not hearing anything I called in to just to be told they were on back-order. I wished they would have at least let me know, but didn't think much of it and opted to just cancel the order. Fast forward a little bit, and I placed another order, forgiving and forgetting my last experience. After 3 weeks, I had not received any notification or heard anything about the order, so I followed up. The response just said, my order is on it's way to their warehouse and will ship out once it arrives. I thought perhaps it was just delayed and let it go. After another 3 weeks, I followed up again, and no response. I gave another week and followed up again, and was told they were waiting on an item. I wait another 2 weeks, basically from forgetting about it, follow up again, and no response! I tell my wife about it and she immediately thinks it's a scam. Feeling dumb, I start looking for reviews and found all of the ones here on yelp saying the same thing. I email the owner, who's email is on this site as well. He immediately responds to me and one of his employees, telling them to look after me first thing in the morning. Have another 2 weeks and 4 more emails, two of which have gone unanswered, they asked if I would accept a store-credit. I am still looking to get my money refunded..........
