    Wall and ceiling color
    Andy A.

Great location right on Main Street! There were at least 2 restaurants within walking distance. I'm not sure if it was the ongoing pandemic or not, but there didn't seem to be much else going on in town. I don't like to mix politics with pleasure, but if you're a trump/pence supporter, you'll feel right at home in town. There were many prominently displayed trump/pence signs hanging from houses in town. I feel confident if there was an attempted terror attack, there would be several patrons with concealed weapons to quickly diffuse the situation. All of the walls and ceilings in our room and bathroom were a sort of baby poo brown which we didn't really like at first. Ultimately, I think the dark/dingy color palette maybe helped with sleep. I almost knocked it down to a 4 star rating because the walls were extremely thin, and you could clearly hear other occupants' conversations in many of the other rooms in the hotel. Luckily, it turned out to be a good thing because we had some interesting neighbors with funny conversations. Another plus was not one bug or mouse seen while we were in the room!

    Founders suite!! $198

This is not the place to stay if you are looking for something "decent". The rooms are awful. Nothing matches, curtains don't cover windows, drawers don't work, ugly sitting table with chairs that don't match, etc.etc. -- we paid $198 per room!!!! The founders suite is NOT a suite but rather a very ugly room. The rooms should be $50 at the most. Horrible wifi. The lobby is "okay," but that is stretching it! Looking at the outside of the building, you would think it would be quaint and classy - NOPE...just the opposite. Totally ripped off for the price. Maybe it isn't always $198 a room but it was in November.

Small supreme pizza was nicely priced and perfect for two people (or one very hungry person)

I give this place a solid four stars for their delicious pizza and fair menu prices. I enjoyed a hand-rolled pizza (supreme) and local-brewed beer in the hotel's restaurant/bar area. Pizza was excellent. It's a thinner crust, with the perfect amount of crunchy and chewiness, and just the right amount of toppings. And, they make the dough there and hand roll for each order fresh. Bravo to the kitchen. Restaurant has plenty of seating for chilling out and people watching in the town and a large bar w/ additional seating. I came on a Sunday so it was pretty quiet but, apparently Friday's and Saturdays are crazy busy. Bartender also mentioned occasional live music in the bar area. Customer service was good, too - the bartender John was cool and gave me some tips about the local area, since I'm not a local. I'll def be returning for another pizza, and to check out their breakfast menu - home-made biscuits and gravy...yes please.

    Hair!! Ew!!

Hairy sheets!! Room with 2 queens for girls weekend. I knew the place was super old and I expected age, wear and tear. When I pulled back covers there were about 5 long dark hairs on pillow and a couple on the sheets. We thought for a minute about bunking up since it was late but when we pulled back sheets on other bed...a hair. Luckily we found someone to begrudgingly change sheets and I never regret bringing my snuggie. Ew.

    Sausage and green olive pizza
    Andrew D.

Stopped in here for a night cap after a few drinks around town. It was a Friday night so it was surprising that we were the only ones there. Had some more of the local brews and ordered a hand rolled pizza. Green olives weren't in the menu but they took some from the bar to put on my pizza! It came out hot and was clearly handmade. I've never had a better $6 pizza after midnight in my life. Not sure about the rest of the menu but they give me reason to come back.

The staff are friendly and the room was clean. Convenient location as well. It is an older hotel so keep that in mind.

Great room and location. Nothing too fancy but very old school cool vibe. Great food options just down the road.

Kenna is quite amazing with her presentation and the quality of food exceeds any expectation we've ever had. Unfortunately, a quick getaway this time quickly turned into an unpleasant experience. After dinner both of our keycards stopped working. We called the Inn for assistance and knocked on the main door but received no response. Luckily, another patron of the Inn easily slid a credit card into the room door jam and unlocked our door. We were lucky to have someone help us get into the room but equally concerned with the fact that the room door had to be left open/unlocked for the remainder of our stay to avoid future lockout situations. Additionally, the lack of effort it took for someone to open our door is more than concerning for safety reasons. To top off a lovely day and a hiccup with our keys not working the Inn elected to charge us extra (above our nightly rate) for unknown reasons. Again, calls to the Inn were not answered or returned. I don't usually take time to write reviews and would have overlooked our room keys not working if it wasn't for the unknown charges on our card. It's sad to experience what I would call a potential for a 5-star review be handled so poorly due to a lack of any response from the Inn. I hope this review prompts the Inn to improve the quality of communication and duty of care for their patrons.

They tidy daily, and deep clean weekly. For me they were very attentive to asking if I need trash taken out or new towels, replacement shampoos, or dishwashing detergent. I stayed in room 422. Quick access to the elevator bank, the ice machine and at the L of the two hallways. The window view of 422 looks upon the near end of Delaware St. The room has a king sized bed, a desk, a dresser, a open closet, a dresser with hutch, and a kitchenette (fridge, dishwasher, sink, microwave, and dishes/utensils. The bathroom is not crowded.. I didn't use the gym, but I noticed it had a couple of treadmills, and a full set of weights, and cables. Also the pools was available. Gym is open 24/7. The breakfast is included and ranged from microwavable burritos, sandwiches, and toast able grains. You could make waffles, or snack on the daily heated grains (oatmeal, grits, or biscuits and gravy). Their was fresh mandarins and bananas. Berry toppings and juice, too. Breakfast daily from 6-10. Easy accessa to and walkable amenities. I ran a long the Esplanade and local trails in the morning. And utilized the free coffee bar 24/7. Nice stay this past week. Recommended.

The crazy thing is you can actually get lost in these buildings, but once you find your room, breakfast area, and the parking lot; you won't need to see the rest of the hotel. Room 3302 is in the C Building, which is close to the breakfast room. The room itself is a suite. It has a living room, kitchenette, separate bedroom, and bathroom. The living room has a flat screen TV, couch, coffee table, some accent lighting and a desk. The kitchenette has a full fridge, a small range, sink and dishwasher. The bedroom also has a flat screen, queen size bed, end tables accent lighting, and a closet. Breakfast is served promptly at 6am Monday-Friday, and at 6:30am on the weekends. Breakfast is Continental style. Scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, and waffles are available in a buffet. Also, various cereals, oatmeal, and hot sweet rolls are available. Most importantly, the coffee is a plenty and ready to take if you're on the go. The hotel has a small fitness room on the first floor that has a couple of cardio machines, but Gruber Fitness Center is next door, if the in-house gym is full already. I was here for a three week course, and the hotel was well within walking distance of the Lewis and Clark Building and Eisenhower Hall. Just one block away, you can find the post commissary, which is open everyday, along with the post exchange. Bonnie even helped me find an off-post barber, after the Barber Shop at the PX stopped seeing customers. The room was clean when I got it. Came with a living room and kitchen, two TVs, and a spacious bathroom. Housekeeping came to tidy up the bathroom. I'll be here for three weeks, so I'm pretty comfortable and this location is well within striking distance of everything I will and could need during that time. Lucky to have roomed here.

As a guest on the second floor, this meant lugging all my belongings up the stairs, which was quite inconvenient. While this was a major drawback, I hope it was an isolated incident and not a recurring problem at the hotel. They also offer breakfast and it was amazing; pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausages, they have it. Sadly the pancake maker broke midway through my stay. Their in room kitchen can accommodate almost all cooking, so i knocked out most of my meal preps utilizing what they offer. Don't need to worry about parking as well, they got extensive lots to accommodate many vehicles of all sizes.

The drive to the room was through a beat-up parking lot, more than likely because of the foul weather and rough winter they had was not kind to the blacktop. The room was very basic, but simple like we were looking for. In the morning, the water in the shower was hit, but a little more than a trickle, but I had worse showers in the past. We left early and when we got back, there was no extra toilet paper, it did not look as if anyone cleaned the room, only emptied the trash. The day of checkout, I wanted a hot shower before heading to the airport but alas, the maid took the used towels but failed to leave clean ones.
