If the booking was refundable I would have left upon arrival. No more Wyndham for me. The beds were terribly uncomfortable as well.

Our 2-Queen room is large and comfortable with new artwork and carpet. The bathroom has been recently remodelled with a granite countertop, white subway-style wall tile and a new tile floor. We like the big splashy black and white art photos of Kansas, and the new LG flat screen TV is great!! Staff are genuinely concerned and helpful. Breakfast is much better than we remembered at Super 8 - we had yummy cook-to-order malted waffles, yogurt, and orange juice to start us off this morning. The breakfast dining area was well stocked, organised, and very easy to maneuver around in. We feel very fortunate to have lucked into a space in this hotel on eclipse weekend. The room was affordable (half of the Holiday Inn express) and the location is great. We would not hesitate to stay here again. 5 budget-friendly stars

The Royal Deluxe - Weston, MO**…read more From the brilliant culinary minds of Nick and Andrea Martinkovic -- the duo behind the much-missed Noah's Cupboard -- comes **The Royal Deluxe** at The St. George Hotel in Weston, MO. If you've been longing for that same inventive, intimate, and inspired dining experience, here it is... but this time with a soulful, Italian-inspired twist. This isn't your run-of-the-mill Italian joint. The menu is limited, but that's because everything is crafted around what's **fresh, seasonal, and locally available**. Expect change -- and welcome it. Chef Nick's inspirations show up on the plate, and if you have a request or want a tweak, he's often happy to riff on a dish for you. This is creative cooking with both heart and skill. **The Feast:** * **Tagliatelle with Sausage, Tomatoes, and Homegrown Basil** - Fresh, silky pasta coated in a luscious, velvety sauce, studded with sweet cherry tomatoes and crowned with creamy ricotta and fragrant basil. * **Pizza Extraordinaire** - A charred, thin-yet-chewy crust with rich tomato sauce, melty cheese, and basil that tastes like it was just plucked from the garden. * **Caesar Salad** - Crisp romaine piled high with a snowy drift of finely grated cheese and a dressing that's perfectly balanced -- tangy, savory, and addictive. * **House-Made Stracciatella with Local Fresh Peaches & Basil** - Summer on a plate. Sweet, juicy peaches with delicate, creamy cheese and bright basil leaves -- the perfect sweet-salty-herbal trifecta. * **Arancini with Peaches & Cream** - Golden, crispy risotto balls paired with silky cream and tangy pickled peppers for a surprising twist. * **Toasted Homemade Bread with Compound Butter** - Simple, but utterly perfect. The butter is rich, silky, and kissed with olive oil and herbs. * **Cheesy Bread with Herbs** - Comfort food elevated, with gooey cheese, fresh herbs, and a satisfying crunch. * **Italian Green Olives** - Briny, fresh, and bursting with flavor -- a perfect nibble between bites. * **PEI Mussels in Dunkable Garlic Butter Sauce** - Plump, tender mussels bathed in garlicky, buttery heaven, served with bread to soak up every drop. And don't miss their **artisanal espresso** -- a rich, velvety shot that proves their attention to detail extends right down to the last sip. **Bottom line:** The Royal Deluxe is worth the trip to Weston all on its own. It's a place where the food is thoughtful, the flavors are bold yet balanced, and the experience feels like you've stumbled upon a hidden gem -- because you have.

Kenna is quite amazing with her presentation and the quality of food exceeds any expectation we've ever had. Unfortunately, a quick getaway this time quickly turned into an unpleasant experience. After dinner both of our keycards stopped working. We called the Inn for assistance and knocked on the main door but received no response. Luckily, another patron of the Inn easily slid a credit card into the room door jam and unlocked our door. We were lucky to have someone help us get into the room but equally concerned with the fact that the room door had to be left open/unlocked for the remainder of our stay to avoid future lockout situations. Additionally, the lack of effort it took for someone to open our door is more than concerning for safety reasons. To top off a lovely day and a hiccup with our keys not working the Inn elected to charge us extra (above our nightly rate) for unknown reasons. Again, calls to the Inn were not answered or returned. I don't usually take time to write reviews and would have overlooked our room keys not working if it wasn't for the unknown charges on our card. It's sad to experience what I would call a potential for a 5-star review be handled so poorly due to a lack of any response from the Inn. I hope this review prompts the Inn to improve the quality of communication and duty of care for their patrons.

Check in took 2-3 mins and the owner/proprietor was friendly and very sweet trying to make us and our stay a happy one. He proudly told us about the hotel and his family that runs it (deep ties to military, law enforcement, and community). You can tell the family really cares about providing good stays for their patrons and love their hotel and proudly care for it by attending to every detail. The price was reasonable and the room is a good size, clean, everything works well, no smell, no bugs, no issues, there is nice tv programs with lots of viewing options, and the owner knew lots of local eateries and gave great recommendations. We got settled in our room and visited Quacker's to eat (which I enjoyed & recommend too) then went back to our hotel room to our comfortable queen beds. After driving 360 miles, a comfy bed is so appreciated! Bedding is soft and clean with nice pillows. The room is nicely stocked and clean. In the room we had a desk, table to dine at, multiple chairs, dresser with nice deep drawers, wood hangers and rack to hang coats and clothes, lots of lighting options, side tables, phone, the light blocking curtains, luggage butler, fresh towels, toiletries, a large tv with remote, individually packaged cups and an ice bucket, blow dryer, a separate sink area private bathroom, and a working ac and heater unit. The room had Everything we needed and wanted! There is a fridge in the room hidden in the dresser behind a false door, and there are 2 microwaves in common areas and an ice machine which served us just fine. There was zero sound from outside the room heard which provided a private and peaceful stay. The Internet worked spot on so my kid could access their online school work. If you are in the area Audrey's Motel is the place to stay! A big thank you to the owner and their family for the great experience. We loved your hotel!
