Excellent hotel. The rooms are clean, the hotel and rooms are very modern. They have a little shop with snacks and drinks. They have a business center as well. Breakfast was amazing with options for everyone as well as grab and go bags and muffins. Cookies in the afternoons and lemon water. Tea out 24/7. The rooms were silent at night as well. And the breakfast was above expectations except the turkey sausage but if that's all to take issue with, this place is doing very well. This is a great hotel option. Very clean and modern. Rooms are typical. Decent bathroom and comfy beds. No bar or restaurant, but here is a snack shop with some food items and various drinks. There is also complimentary breakfast and free cookies each afternoon. Pool is small, but indoors and nice. Staff are courteous and friendly. Definitely one of the better hotels in St Joe. read more

This is an absolute great place to spend the night on your travels. Property has a brand new feel upon arriving. We were greeted with absolute professional style. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Next morning, hot breakfast was amazing. Both scrambled eggs and omelets were offered as well as standard cereal, oat meal, etc. oh, rate was reasonable. This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at! Very clean rooms with a beautiful view of outside. The staff are so friendly. There were 2 ladies that worked the kitchen area at breakfast that were such a delight to be around! So polite and friendly!! The floors were always being mopped clean. The gym was just perfect with an added bonus of a yoga area with mats and balls! They also have a cute indoor pool. They have a great breakfast! iPhone directions told me to park on Rochester road and walk to your destination! This hotel has only been completed 3 months. Love new hotels. Love this Fairfield. Had all amenities we needed, comfortable beds, best breakfast of our trip. The salsa and grated cheese for the eggs, whipped cream for the waffles are the extras that make for a great breakfast. This place practiced no covid safety measures. Only one employee wore a mask, and none of the patrons wore masks. I stayed at the Marriott because of their high ratings in terms of covid safety. My husband is a Platinum Marriott rewards member, so we've stayed in a lot of Marriott hotels over the years. This hotel is the BEST Fairfield I've ever stayed in! The staff members are super friendly and everything is so CLEAN! Sue, one of the breakfast attendants, was very friendly and treated us like we were family. She made our visit memorable. Lydia also provided great service! My aunts raves about this hotel and we told all our family members, who live in the area, about it. Really enjoyed our stay!! Front desk representatives were very friendly, pool was super clean and not overbearing with chemicals, and the room was super clean! They start serving breakfast at 6:00 and they had a good variety of different foods and gluten free options. If I ever have to stay in St. Joseph I'll definitely be going back to Fairfield. read more

It's brand new, only a couple of miles from the hub of St. Joseph, MO and is incredibly clean. The staff is SUPER friendly and even remembered my family and I. We stayed only one night on 20 Oct and was very impressed with this new hotel. The staff was super friendly and courteous. The heated salt water pool was very nice, although I was a bit disappointed there wasn't a hot tub. I would also encourage corporate to bring back a heartier breakfast menu with biscuits, gravy, and bacon. Otherwise this is a great hotel!! read more

Wonderful place to stay! We had been traveling from Wyoming and decided to stop here on our way home. My family of 4 stopped in about 9:45 pm one night. Service was quick and friendly. We went to our room and it was perfect! We had one room with two queen beds. It was a large room. Very clean. Lots of room to move around and settle in. The beds were very comfortable and we all rested and slept very well! This was a wonderful place to stop and stay. Would definitely stay here again!! read more

FOR STARTERS I BELIEVE THIS HOTEL HAS BEDBUGS!!!! I spent 7 days in this hotel for work and I woke up with what looked like a couple of bites on my face and and legs. I thought maybe I got bit by something when I was outside. Every day I would be fine all day long, I would go to bed and wake up with more bites on my legs, and started seeing bites on my hands and arms. I finally sent pictures of my bites to my father who is a nurse and he agreed they appeared to be bedbug bites. When I tried to talk to management they basically called me a liar and told me that they checked both rooms beside me and above me however, I was the last room on that floor and I was on the top floor so I would love to know how they checked rooms on both sides of me and above me! The hotel did not want to accept what I was telling them but clearly something is wrong when I can be fine all day long and have no new bites but I go to bed and I wake up every morning with more bites. My hotel room for the week was over $900 and all this hotel offered me For my itchy swollen bites were some reward points. I told them I wasn't interested in reward points as I do not normally travel and that would not do anything for me and they basically told me that that was all they would offer. Meanwhile, I have to try not to take bedbugs home to my own house and we have to treat our work vehicles that I've been in. This is a very poor way to handle this situation. Not only did I show the manager my arms and hands but also I have pictures of how the bites progressed over the days And yet still they want to dispute that there was something in that room biting me at night. Our company that has approximately 1800 franchises will not stay at Fairfield again or any other Marriott for that matter. It's very poor customer service that they did not even try to do anything for me other than offer me reward points that are worthless. read more

we were stuck in a blizzard in saint josephs and stayed at fairfield inn & suites. the rooms were immaculate and everyone was extremely welcoming, especially mica at the front desk. the maids were courteous and pleasant despite 100% capacity. finally a hotel that really cares. way to go fairfield. read more

This was a recommendation by someone else. I was certainly glad this was top of the list. Great choice!!! We were welcomed by Jill. She immediately greeted us and gave us thorough information on the overall amenities. She also gave us great ideas on what to do while we were in town. The presentation was beautiful not only on the entrance of the hotel but our room. Everything was extremely clean and the shower was amazing. Housekeeping was on point coming in daily. Great variety on breakfast selection. The overall stay was very accommodating. Definitely if I go back, this will be our choice to stay. Thank you for going above and beyond the hospitality.
