    Rose flight with cheese

We did another tasting at Aamodt apple farm, next door to the hard cider is a winery. They had a sip and painted event in the next room. Otherwise yoga in the morning. Walk up to the counter and the ladies will tell you about the wines they offer and flights available. We decided to try all 3, whites, rose, and red. Variety of sweet, dry, and tart. There was this raspberry chocolate jam they just came out with, it was delicious. Paired perfectly with the port wine. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.

Stopped here on our way home from a day in Stillwater July 2024. The employee was SUPER kind and friendly and took his time to explain the local wines to create our sampler. Parking was easy, the deck was dog friendly and there were 2 Bachelorette parties going on! Very fun atmosphere and we will definitely return when we're in the area.

I absolutely love the Saint Croix Vineyard! My family is part of their wine club and we stop by this location every 3-4 months to enjoy a glass of wine and pick up our new bottles. The staff is always so friendly and will explain their new selections or what they have on site for anyone who needs help ordering. The space is a little small in the winter, but during the summer months and select weekends they have more seating outside for people to enjoy. They also throw events throughout the summer! I especially love the grape stomp. I would definitely recommend stopping here on your way to Stillwater or if you are going on a wine tour!

Saint Croix Vineyards is a must! We had a glass of the Itasca (a dryer white) and the Marechal Foch (a dryer red) which were both really good. I had seen on the website that they give free tours occasionally so we got a tour of the vineyard from Paul (he was one of two men that started Saint Croix Vineyards). He was very knowledgeable and giving of his time on a Sunday afternoon. He took us through the entire production process of the wine and we got to see the behind the scenes. Definitely would recommend Saint Croix to any wine lovers out there!

Our pubpass brought us here to try Thor's Hard Cider but when I saw how lovely the area was and how much I enjoyed the hard cider, I wanted to also try a Minnesota wine. The staff in the store was very helpful. I indicated how much I liked the cider and she steered me toward the roses. I was able to taste a couple versions and, surprisingly to me, chose the fruitier over the dryer version. Beautiful area, of course, we were there on the most perfect late summer day which only added to the beauty. Can't wait to open my new bottle of wine.

Apple varieties- though they all look the same to me!

A great place for a Fall weekend excursion! But quite busy. They offer a wide range things in the same location, e.g. apple orchard, vineyard, wine, cider, apples, hotdogs, popcorns, children's playground, and pet friendly. A great place to visit whether you are coming with your family, friends, dates or just by yourself. They are so cool about letting visitors walking around their orchard and vineyard! I can appreciate my wine and cider more after walking around!!! Cider-wise, ginger frizz is my favorite. I did a wine flight - apple wine is similar to cider; rose is thick, more texture than being refreshing and crisp; Frontenac port has a strong raspberry taste. Frontenac Blanc is my favorite- memorable and good aroma even after a few sips!!!

Lovely deck to enjoy your wine!

Just the perfect spot after lifting a toddler into the trees for apples! We did 2 Minnesota wine tastings-we forgot to checkin and use the Yelp free testing offer. Lesson-always check into Yelp while exploring new adventures

Saint Croix Vineyards is a little gem of a site. There is so much to do here, you might as well make it a day trip from the cities. The winery is why I pay a visit here every fall and winter for wine, cheese and chocolate weekend. The interior is all wood and has a beautiful cabin-like feel. One can find all things wine here. The gifts placed all over the room are nice touches if your looking for a gift. The Vignoles wine is my favorite here. It has a sweet, almost grapefruited, flavor to it. Head next door to buy some food to go with your wine and sit on the grounds for a wonderful afternoon of relaxation! Bonus-use your MPR discount here for a BOGO wine tasting! OR check in to get your tasting free with a purchase.

My best friend, mom, and I came to Stillwater to do some apple picking, eat delicious baked apple goods, and taste some wine - which we were able to do all of this in one trip and without leaving the area because the vineyard is connected to the apple farm, AWESOME! This was my first ever wine tasting! I'm not sure how much it usually costs but I thought it was a good deal - $6 to taste five of their best wines. If you check in on Yelp, it's buy one get one free! The guy who poured our wine explained in detail each one to us before tasting. He told us what kind of wine it was(red or white), what the distinct notes were, what it would be good paired with, etc. There was also a sheet listed with the names and descriptions in case we wanted more info. I definitely didn't know that there was a dump bucket for a reason because you weren't supposed to finish each glass they give you... so I may or may not have been drunk leaving the vineyard. Good thing I didn't drive ;) Overall, a good experience and we'll be back!

Very impressed by the wine selection- i was not expecting such a variety. The reds were nice and robust. Flavors in the whites that i had not experienced before- nice peach and pear notes without being too sweet. Really enjoyed the Marquette red and the Zinfandel. Great indoor and outdoor sitting area and there is an apple orchard right on property as well along with a tap room.

We went on a tour and tasting at the vineyard last weekend for a bachelorette party. It was much more fun that I was expecting. We got a glass of wine to start the tour out, and were brought outside to walk the grounds and see the vines. We then got to see the indoor area where they make and bottle the wine. The tour part was a little boring for me- I am more of a wine drinker than a wine connoisseur. However, everyone else seemed to really enjoy it! After the tour was done, we got to taste several more wines, all of which were delicious. Our guide, Joe, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, he put up with a giant group of loud women for over an hour so, props to you Joe! I would definitely do this again in the future and absolutely recommend it! Thank you!

We tried a few different flights of wine and flat breads and enjoyed the beautiful view of the vineyard. The place is truly breathtaking, and at the time, they had live music playing outside. Jenna made some very good recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. ::Caution:: I still gave this place 5 stars because this has nothing to do with the service or the quality of the food or location, but we were picturing a nice, calm brunch, sipping on wine, not a Chuck E Cheese experience. Apparently, we were upgraded to the deluxe Chuck E Cheese package and were seated around lots of parents who decided to bring their young kids to a vineyard. The kids were running wild around tables and crying and screaming. Not one parent corrected their kids' behavior and just let them run around like free-range chickens. There were also people complaining that there were no non alcoholic drinks that they wanted at a vineyard. When I went inside there seemed to be no kids indoors. While another group could not control their kids and kept knocking things off the table, including glasses of wine. No one seemed to mind outdoors because most of the people had young kids, so be warned that this may be a possibility, so research your days before you go. Overall, if you remove the kids running wild and crying, the service was fantastic, the wine was good, lots of parking, the ambiance was incredible, and the food was good.

It is a Frontenac grape and wasn't really a port, but it was dry and slightly more full bodied than anything else we sampled. Not really worth taking a bottle home. All the other wines tasted watered down and honestly, I don't think I've ever been to a winery (or anywhere that served wine) where it was served in plastic cups. All the flavors were pretty flat without much aroma and no finish. A few had a bitter taste. The deluxe cheese and crackers were pretty basic and not really worth ordering. The wines were such a bummer- which should be the reason you visit a winery.
