Unreliable. Sail at your own risk!…read more Harbour Cruises of Vancouver completely failed to deliver on the promise of their Indian Arm cruise. They claimed smoke in the engine room and limped back to port before we even turned into the Arm. Other reviews have reported unexplained itinerary changes that eliminated the main part of the trip. One has to wonder if they don't go up the Arm simply to save money when it's not fully booked or if their boats are that unreliable. While I understand mechanical issues, their compensation policy was completely inadequate. They offered a free drink on board and a coupon for 15% off a future cruise. Anyone booking on the internet can get a 20% discount off any cruise! After much back and forth they finally offered a 20% refund. The final price after this discount was approximately double the price of a narrated harbor tour. We received an un-narrated tour of the container port instead of a tour of the natural environment, which is what we were promised. We feel cheated by Harbour Cruises of Vancouver. Our own private boat Charter, yes please! There's no sign, as he pulls up at the deep Cove dock and once you locate each other it's time to hit the water. It comfortably seats 6 plus the guide with options to move to the front or sit in the back or in a captains chair. Our guide was great, he explained everything we needed to know and noted points of interest, unique homes and everything in between. We passed 3 seals and even managed a short stroll by one of the waterfalls as we got lucky with the tides. There's really no other way to get up the burrard inlet except by boat so it was an interesting tour to an area that's so close yet so far. This is not a Zodiak, so there's no ripping through the waves and thrill riding which was perfect for me! Ages 3-70 were very happy here and enjoyed the sights and sounds of boating. Was a wonderful experience and very happy we chose to do this as a birthday celebration. Being able to change the dates with enough notice depending on weather was really nice too, as you do want a sunny or at least non rainy day to do this on! Highly recommend

They probably bought it there and load it up on the three-tier tray. The tea is tazo tea. You get a selection and you pick. The hot water was a bit sad. They fill the tea pot with half hot water. Not sure if this was by accident or not. Feel like they were rationing the hot water. They did gave us more hot water when we asked. The women washroom was good. Clean and nice and there are two stalls. Men has 4 stalls, but they are downstairs and awful. I heard it has flies. The sun deck was nice. The cruise last for two hours. After-ward you can stroll around Granville island. Overall, if you pay $40 per person, then it's fine and is a decent experience. In BC, the best Afternoon tea is at the Empress Hotel in Victoria which cost about $60 per person. So... if the men washroom was clean and the food is the same IGA quality, I would say $60 person is ok because it's a boat cruise. However, if it is like what I experienced, then anything more than $40 person a rip-off.

Not only extremely accommodating, picking us up at our hotel, but he is also amazingly well versed in local history and "tales of the not so well known" ? He is an absolute gem! Okay let's get to the drive to our starting point in Indian Arm. More "amazing-ness"!!! And, wowzy, wow, wow!! What a simply stunning area temperate conifer rain forest hard to beat!!! And now the kayaking:-) easy, easy, easy and our guide Peter's knowledge of the tidal areas informative to say the least!!! And if all this isn't enough, we had a wonderfully delicious lunch/BBQ of salmon and all trimmings including desert w/fresh whipped cream!!!! 5 stars was not enough for this trip!!!!

Awesome dive shop! Great crew and boat! What a pleasure to…read morego diving with these folks! It's always nice to see a dive shop able to cater to tech divers as well as the new divers. Let's me know they are watching and know what divers need when they teach to the pro level of divers. Up visiting for the weekend and we're looking forward to some BC diving. We were looked after from the moment we booked till we stepped off the boat. They had steel 100's which is what I have and that made diving with their tanks seem less with what I was use to. Even better they have fills available On the boat, so you only need to pop off your 1st stage and let the fill begin!! We enjoyed a dive in the Annapolis! What a great dive sight. We had no wait and only two other tourists on the boat with us. Spencer was our tour guide and he was fantastic. He obviously has a lot of knowledge of the history of Vancouver and a love of the area. We got to watch several planes take off from and land on the water, saw a Cormorant dive and come up with a fish, learned that there are bee hives on top of several buildings in Vancouver and so much more on our short 30 minute tour.
