I've been wanting to try Saigon Wok based on reviews that they have great boba! Although their hours are quite limited (they're open from 4:00pm- 9:00pm each day), I was finally able to check it out and try the avocado boba. We have been talking about trying this newish restaurant for a while now. We finally made it there last night and boy do I wish we had not waited so long. The food was great and the service was awesome. Not just our waitress but everyone we saw who worked there. They did a great job of turning the old "Pita Pit" location (which I miss) into their own feel that is actually pretty dressed up to not be a freestanding brick and mortar. They managed to add a touch elegance and some accent of the Vietnamese individuality that shines through even moreso in the food. The price point is great. The portions are generous. Fleming needed a great Asian eatery and now they have it. We will be regulars. read more

Hidden Gem in Fleming Island! Wife wanted to Pho noodles and we found this restaraunt tucked into the stripmall near the theater! So glad we found it! Wife had the pho noodles with asian beef balls and I opted for the General Chicken. Noodles were perfectly cooked and yummy and the chicken was crispy and delicious! This was our first time here. We had pad Thai, veggie lo mein, teriyaki chicken, and pho. Everything was so delicious and wasn't too heavy and greasy like other restaurants. Stopped in to the newest Fleming Island Asian eatery this weekend to discover that it is the previous owners of Saigon Tokyo Bistro that was located on CR 220. This was good news! To the review: They now have a much smaller , open concept kitchen location and serve most all the old favorites from the 220 location, except for sushi. Service style is - walk up to the register/counter, order, take a number and sit at a table while they prepare your order. Wait staff will bring it to you. A lot more casual than before. Food was delicious. Fresh, fast and hot. Our table had General Chicken (savory/sweet sauce with carrot, green pepper and onion over rice), Sweet and sour chicken (better than Chinese fast food kind), and Chicken, Shrimp and Steak BUN (Vietnamese rice noodle with cold veggies, cilantro, cucumber, seasoned meat and delicious sweet/savory light dressing) We also had thai tea, fruit tea and Mango Smoothie with BOBA. I ordered take out on Friday and was disappointed on the entrees. The only good comment I can make is that the location looks nice and they were busy. My order was ready on time about 10 mins drive over. And the service was nice they asked if I needed utensils or condiments. I ordered beef with veg and chicken broccoli. They each came with rice which was included in the tray of food. If I was eating alone it would probably be ok but i was picking up for a group of people. The presentation was nice but they both tasted the same even veg were the same. So I was very disappointed about the entrees. The other two dishes I ordered was shrimp fried rice and chicken lo mein. The fried rice looked like a batch of rice already made and they threw in a handful of cocktail shrimp. Being Asian it was very obvious it wasn't cooked together with everything else.
