He's very talkative and informative but most of the time isn't rude with people. I mean, people call up there with really stupid questions but he takes his time to answer them. Also, on midnight launches for games, he does go all out and has a launch party to pass the time until the games are release. I also feel bad for him because this Gamestop is located in the AWFUL Lake Fredrica Shopping Center. With one of the world's oldest Walmarts, the area pulls in a lot of ghetto people. This Gamestop has kids going up in Gamestop all the time reading the strategy guides and stuff. Was there the other day and the manager guy was telling some kid who was purchasing a game that if he wants a strategy guide, that he should buy it now with a discount. Otherwise, he didn't want to see him in his store just reading the strategy guide and dipping out. Was funny how the convo went down. It's a good store but the area and customers are not the greatest.

The cashier was the most rude lady I've interacted with in some time - as soon as I walked in, she gave me an up-down and turned away when I had a question. Someone she was familiar with was there the whole time from before we walked in, and she was huddled over the counter just whispering to him the entire time. When I tried to ask a question, she walked away and pretended not to notice, then went over to the shirts and was telling him "not to waste his money here" and holding things up to him to grab. For the store layout, it's truly just cards everywhere with little to no physical games. There are still plenty of other locations with physical releases, so I'm not sure why this one was just gatcha heaven. Completely disappointed, won't be coming back to this location again.

I don't…read moreremember the name of the little complex but there are quite a few places I visit in the shopping center. I stopped in to try and sell back some games that I was trying to get rid of...and got way less than I bargained for. In any case, that is NOT the reason I give this place 4 stars. I've never really even been in a Game Stop..nO wait. I have...and that other location the 2 guys working in the store were kinda jerks. On this occasion, there was only one person in the store, as this is a smaller store. I don't recall his name, or if I even got it...But the store was very organized and the guy working was very friendly. He checked all my games and then let me know he could only take one. When selling back there were a couple options: store credit (but since I was moving I didn't opt for that) cash (which would be significantly less) or putting the credit on a gift card (which i opeted for). Well, my ONE game was only going to get me 50 cents...so I put it on a gift card, which I figured I could add money to toward the purchase of new games. Yay! I like that during the process, he was very patient with all my questions (as I've never tried to sell anything back) and I was impressed with the service I got. Like I said, he checked all the games and they are so thorough that if there's ANY scratch on the top they do not take it. I never even knew that was a criteria. Even the teeniest scratch mark...In any case. I wish I had gone here sooner (before I garage-saled all my old games but live and learn.) Even though it's a small store, service was great and store was clean and organized. Definitely a place I wouldn't mind visiting again. #Yelp 365 Challenge- 144/365

Everything is where it should be--grouped by theme or franchise--so browsing feels more like exploring a curated pop culture museum than digging through clutter at some grungy and junky comic shop. The selection is fantastic: from comics and statues to posters, small plush, otaku, Pops, action figures, high-end collectibles, and more! Whether you're a gamer, a movie buff, sci-fi fan, or just love cool merch, you'll find something to geek out over for sure. The staff? Genuinely great. Friendly, welcoming, and super knowledgeable without being pushy. You can tell they love what they do, and it will make your experience that much better. You can actually have a real conversation with these guys! I am so tired of visiting stores that hire snotty, vacant, or indifferent employees. You DO NOT have to worry about that here. Oh, and they've got a geek bar inside the back of the store. Seriously. It was a bit too early in the day for me to grab a drink but it looked awesome the way it was decorated, so I'm definitely coming back with my wife some evening (and hopefully soon!). Plus, they're open late--huge win. Also, the location is perfect... right off International Drive and not far from Universal Studios. Whether you're a local or visiting Orlando, this is a must-stop spot. Highly recommended.

Highlights included the giant Gremlins and Pokémon vending machine, though sadly it was out of order, it was still fun to see! We also noticed a neat speakeasy out back that we definitely want to check out next time. Overall, this is a great spot for any nerd, collector, or cosplayer. We really enjoyed our visit and plan to come back!
