Waited in line over an hour for the Pokemon prismatic sticker collection. I was 25th in line and there were 75 packs advertised on the door. Magically , by the time it was my turn, there were no more packs. If the employees are buying packs, they should have the same limits that we do and those packs should not be advertised as available to buy on the door . If the count was accurate , I would not have sat in line for over an hour just to leave empty handed ... not to mention there were several people behind me too who at least 10 should have been able to get 2 packs each . read more

This is a pretty standard Gamestop. It doesn't stand out from others in any particular way. I recall they had a pretty neat midnight release for Skyrim a few years back. The staff is friendly, and they aren't pushy about pre-orders. They know when they're dealing with educated consumers. I really appreciate that. read more

This is the closest Gamestop to my house which is a good thing and and bad thing. I will say the manager is a super nice guy. He's very talkative and informative but most of the time isn't rude with people. I mean, people call up there with really stupid questions but he takes his time to answer them. Also, on midnight launches for games, he does go all out and has a launch party to pass the time until the games are release. I also feel bad for him because this Gamestop is located in the AWFUL Lake Fredrica Shopping Center. With one of the world's oldest Walmarts, the area pulls in a lot of ghetto people. This Gamestop has kids going up in Gamestop all the time reading the strategy guides and stuff. Was there the other day and the manager guy was telling some kid who was purchasing a game that if he wants a strategy guide, that he should buy it now with a discount. Otherwise, he didn't want to see him in his store just reading the strategy guide and dipping out. Was funny how the convo went down. It's a good store but the area and customers are not the greatest. read more

I am writing this review in regards to the most atrocious customer service experience I have had in my life. After calling in advance, I arrived at the Gamestop located in the Lake Fredrica Shopping Center 3 minutes before closing time. After the sales associate, Ty, proceeds to move around the store, the TV shuts off. She puts her arms in the shrug position and says, "oh darn, sorry I can't help you now because our systems are completely unavailable now. We open back up tomorrow though." I have never been treated like this before. The complete disregard and disrespect I sustained is unacceptable, and I refuse to let this type of unprofessional behavior go unnoticed, to continue to impact another loyal customer. This is apparently something Ty has said or done to customers in the past and never received any consequences. This gamestop is the only one close to me. the staff and management are real nice and friendly. Always up to date on their info too. mid night launches here the store usually goes all out with game tournaments and even with the case of the most recent call of duty black ops game, they had pizza there for all waiting in line. These are the types of things that keep me coming back for my games read more

If you have a choice between this Gamestop and the one north of it on S. Semoran, go to this one. I've always had a pleasant experience here. The people up front are helpful and the selection is decent. The only problem is with the parking during peak hours but it really isn't that big of a deal having to walk maybe an extra few spaces. read more

Thanks to this game stop and one other, my evening became a tag team dumpster fire. I had been at a mall a bit further away from where I normally shop because I had a few gift cards. And went into gamestop I saw a game I liked and I bought it. That should have been the end of it. However, they put the wrong game in the Box. This was not a normal honest mistake, because while they had that Box out they didn't actually have a version of that game in stock. Fast forward to later when I get home and open the Box, and notice it's the wrong one. So we call a nearby gamestop tell them what happened and they say come on in we can fix it. Except they didn't! Instead they glared at us like we were criminals because apparently the game that was put in the Box was worth less than the one that we bought and they didn't believe us and they thought we were trying to scam them, then they called that gamestop stayed on the phone for 30 minutes looked at us said they weren't can help and sent us out. We called the original game stop again they said oh yeah absolutely they can fix it we'll call them. We went back into the second store stopped and they again gave us a hard time. By far the worst customer service ever!! I went in to trade and i clearly stated i wanted cash not store credit. well the employee put it on a gift card after i told him 3 times i wanted cash and when he finished i told him again i wanted cash he simply said "sorry its already done cant do anything about it" talked to store manager and he refused to help any. i went there to sell my items for cash and was forced to call corporate and complain because i was forced to have a gift card after stating i wanted cash numerous times! will not do business at this location again! read more
