I had a dress that was too big for me and I wasn't sure how to get it tailored. I booked an appointment and it was so quick and the pricing was so cheap. Super fast work & friendly too. I had a coat and a jacket altered within a week at a reasonable price. The houndstooth coat required some pretty creative repair work and she did a great job. I've returned a couple times now with single items and am just as pleased with the work. Amazing service. I had a suit come in late on a Monday, and the wedding was on Saturday. She made the suit fit perfectly and got it back to me by Thursday. I've used other tailors in the area, and If you go anywhere else in Williamsburg you're doing yourself a disservice. 10/10 will go back. read more

This place Siagon tailors in williamsburg va did a very poor job with a pair of pants that I took there to be hemmed up. First of all, when I called this place to see how much it would cost to have my pants hemmed up, the lady told me $ 12.00, then she changed the price to $ 14.00 after I gave her my pants to hem I paid cash and asked for a receipt and was told no by the lady at Saigon tailors. I got my pants home and one leg was 1 inch longer than the other. It was Saturday and of course Siagon tailor in Williamsburg is closed on Saturdays. I was SO DISCUSTED AT THE POOR QAULITY by siagon tailors, I took my pants to NAMs tailors and NAMs was kind enough to fix siagon tailors mistake. Siagon tailors, NEVER AGAIN!! They do sewing out of their little garage in the back of their house. poor qaulity, price switching on customers and not wanting to give customers receipts. read more

Very accommodating and friendly tailoring from the proprietor, who handily repaired my down coat and a few other things. Everything was ready in about 3 days. A bit hard to find-- the shop is behind the house listed as the street address-- but there is parking behind the house in the parking lot. You can go up to the door of the shop (in back) and knock or walk in. read more

I recently ordered a pair of jeans online, which I came to find out were far too long. As a William & Mary student without a car on campus, I tried looking for a tailor within reasonable distance and I was so lucky to come across Saigon Tailors! I walked over originally in the morning on a Monday, saw a sign on the door that COVID has resulted in consultations by appointment only, and called on my walk back. I was able to come in two hours later, and was told I could pick up my jeans on Thursday. The hemming on my jeans was lovely, but also be sure to have cash to pay for your tailoring. I am so happy to have found Saigon Tailors and I have a feeling I will be returning again. read more

Leelee (sp?) did a fine job tailoring my bridesmaids' dress. When I tried it on for her originally, she knew exactly what needed to be done to make it fit correctly. In the end, all that needed to be done was a shortening of the straps. The dress fit like a glove, and she did not forget to replace the bra-strap tie-backs that had come attached to the dress. (I found out that these tie-backs were removed entirely for all of the other bridesmaids that had their dresses tailored elsewhere. Sheesh.) Overall, I had a great first experience with Saigon Tailors. These ladies are honest and fair. read more

I was visiting Williamsburg for only one day and I needed to find someone to repair a ripped luggage bag that I had borrowed from my mother ( an expensive bag that was her favorite ). I frantically called around with no luck in same day service. I went into a local clothing store to see if they knew anyone who could help me. They recommended Saigon Tailors.. I went there and was greeted by Noel. She looked at my bag and said 'Let's see what I can do'. She immediately worked on it and in less than 10min, she was done! She did a perfect job fixing the bag ( my mother will never even know it was damaged ) AND it was so affordable! I highly recommend Saigon Tailors. Saigon Tailors has done our alterations for fifteen years, and they are excellent. It's a family business and the seamstresses do superb work at reasonable prices. They are currently open four days a week--Monday through Thursday--and do their best to get the work done to your request. I recommend them without reservation. read more
