They first blamed the damage on the fact that the "shirt was old and the fabric was worn." The shirt was about a year old. While I would have initially considered credit, I had a simple request: please return the damaged shirt--my property--so I may survey the damage. It took close to a month, multiple telephone calls, and multiple trips to Swan Cleaners before they finally returned my damaged property back to me! After that, compensation in cash might have been appropriate. It was not offered. Do not use this dry cleaner unless you want your clothes to be damaged or held for an unreasonable period of time without explanation. That is not how a dry cleaner should do business and not how any professional should do business.
