My husband was craving Pho all day since seeing their sign. Waiting on family, we made it there just before closing, and the place was still pretty busy. They were very gracious, and server Liz was amazing! She took time to explain options for the first-timers, and made recommendations for me (shellfish allergies!) Iced Vietnamese coffee was delicious, as well as the Jasmine green tea. We had the pork egg rolls. Very good. Everyone else had Pho, especially the beef and brisket. My husband had the special which had all the meats. They brought all the veggies and were very clear we could request more of anything. I had the stir-fry chicken on rice vermicelli- it's served like a salad, with lots of veggies and a fish sauce. They gave me a hoisin sauce because of my allergies. Great choice, very filling. We were the last people in the place, so the owner and family were busy with the start of cleaning, but very considerate and kind. It's clear they take pride in their beautiful decor (whIch they did themselves). The owner also takes great care in the procurement of his ingredients- something I rarely see. A little off the beaten track but SO worth finding. Very neat inside and decorated nicely. We visited on Father's Day with a 9 and 3 year old. Everyone agreed it was delish! We started with two fresh squeezed lemonades for the kids, a tea/lemonade combo for myself, and a a Vietnamese tea for dad. After a few sips of the drinks, we were hooked. If the food matched the drinks, we would be thrilled. We weren't disappointed. We ordered a starter of the Saigon Special appetizer. Dad orders #15 pho - a meat combo. Kiddos each wanted the kids meatball pho. I ordered the combo chow mein. Everything arrived quickly and hot. Starter arrived with the food, but that was fine with us. A plate of very fresh Thai Basil, jalapeños, lime, and bean sprouts accompanied the pho, as did three sauces-sriracha, fish sauce, and a hoisin type sweet sauce. The starter included a teriyaki chicken that was, by far, the best we've ever had. Not sickly sweet, charred nicely. The shrimp patty wrapped in tofu was delish. Grilled shrimp were slightly overcooked but no biggie. Egg rolls were small but flavorful. The kids were raving about the meatballs and broth. The broth! Some pho has a bland broth that needs all the additives of meats, herbs, sauces, etc. Not this! You could drink the broth and be more than satiated. By far the best pho we've ever had -- big, metropolitan cities included. Chow mein was fresh with crisp vegetables, like bok choy, which so many places leave out because it's a little more expensive. Authentic flavors for their pho. I picked #19, which was a seafood pho, in beef broth. Hubby ordered #15, the pho special. Also got a shrimp chow fun noodle dish--really enjoyed the melding of flavors here. Three dishes, an order of hot green tea, as well as an order of iced Vietnamese coffee--set us back around 52.00 for lunch for two. That includes a 15% tip. 2.5 stars. Yelp should have a half star for when a place is straight 'meh'. The restaurant was clean ish, not sparkiling; the service was decent, not great. The robots were a novelty. The food was alright but boy they sure do scrimp on protein. So glad we came to this place. By far the best dinner or lunch place in Yuma for your Vietnamese craving. It is easily found and conveniently located off one of the main roads. Parking right outside the restaurant. Spacious and clean which are always a plus. We were greeted right away and in such genuine friendly manner. This is the thing, we had just finished a day full day of renovations at our rental and were cover in paint, dust and looking haggard, the manner in attending and greeting us did not differed from those looking pretty. Just such nice people. As far as food goes, we ordered the rice plate with beef and it was delicious. We also ordered a couple of pho, a vermicelli bowl and a couple of fried rice with chicken and shrimp. The flavors were so good and home made tasting. Definitely comforting meals after a hard day's work. Great serving portions for the price and awesome service to boot (can't remember his name but young Vietnamese guy who moved from Orange County). Went in today to try out ntheir food. I ended up with the Charbroiled chicken vermicelli. Man this was so good. The noodles were soft. The veggies were crisp and delicious! I added the peanut sauce from the spring rolls to the Vermicelli plate. It elevated this plate like crazy! So good. The spring rolls were also hit. Awesome place, great food. My wife and I wanted pho, so we stopped in for takeout. They were very hospitable being I have a broken foot. I was sat, given water and they were polite, even the ones I didn't interact with. The one thing I noticed was a lady sitting at a side table, maybe the owner, maybe a staff having lunch. Anyway, two people came in and had maybe sat for maybe a minute or two, the server was busy and helping other guests. So this lady got up and took them menus. Pretty impressive that teamwork. The super fun thing I noticed, they have robot servers, it was pretty cool seeing those. The pho, egg rolls, spring rolls were very good. We had gotten the meatballs and a side of the raw beef. I also had one of the chicken plates which was good. Next time we want pho, we are actually going to eat there because it was a nice place, it was clean and another nice thing was you can smell individual smells, the fresh lime, cilantro the broth. Mm my first time coming it was definitely amazing, the owner was definitely cool! The pho was good that was 2 years ago.. today? I was very disappointed; my pho tasted a bit like dish soap should of noticed when i seen the bubbles lol usually i finish my pho but NO, my noodles were soggy, the chili oil wasnt spicy i put 4 large scoops, tons of siracha and a dash of fish oil. Lets get to the spring rolls the spring rolls had SO MUCH SHREDDED LETTUCE, the sauce with that was good but the spring rolls were OKAY. Im very disappointed i couldnt finish the pho because last time i ate it all just not this time. They were a bit greedy with the white onion( which i waited on and never got ) thats probably why my noodles were soggy waiting on the white onion! Sweet relief -- Yuma has pho!! We are pho junkies. Today we got our fix. The wait was agonizing, but Saigon Pho is open. I was worried that our expectations would be too high but this place HITS THE SPOT! It surpassed our fave pho in San Diego. It was *crowded* when we showed up near closing time on opening day 09/22/19. All the tables were full (seat yourself unless you want take out). We waited a minute before one was cleared. We grabbed menus from the front counter and took them with us to our table. Staff took our orders pretty quick. The #4 brisket and #20 tofu veggie were AMAZING. Broths super clear and fragrant. Noodles that seemed a tad underdone at first were excellent by the time the bowl cooled enough to eat. My #20 tofu & veggies became addictive. The more I ate the more I wanted to eat. I didn't make it through a whole regular sized bowl so I imagine the large size is enormous. Some of the other patrons were irate at the wait time, which was longer than I'm used to in a pho place, *however* the restaurant had been open less than a whole day at this point so I think a little grace is merited. We're not trying for Michelin stars, here. The good folks of Saigon Pho are cooking us something delicious, and we've all been waiting a million years for this so what's a few more minutes to wait for something THIS GOOD!!! It's more like four star pho but because we're in Yuma and we don't have anything like it then it gets the extra one to start to get the five stars! I was not feeling great yesterday so I ordered some from this place to try it out. This was my second choice since Yuma Pho was very busy taking orders. I ordered the meatball Pho and a spring roll. I was told it would take 30 minutes ( normally broth is already made ) and it took almost 45 minutes. I was also told the bill was 25$ and when I picked it up they charged me 33$. So, their service I would say is far from what I expect for what I am paying. Then on top of that, the Pho meatballs was very hard and did not taste good at all. We never finished it because of this. The spring roll had no flavor at all. I was considering asking for my money back or some other food options in the future but I don't think it is worth the hassle and I doubt anything on the rest of their menu is worth trying. AI wasn't sure that I'd be able to find a bowl of pho here in Yuma but Saigon Pho checked off that box. Pho is always in the rotation when it comes to eating out and one good day after work I made the decision to stop by Saigon Pho. It's a good sized restaurant located in a small strip mall pretty close to the airport. I was seated pretty quickly and got to ordered. I went with a large bowl with the well done flank, an order of the crunchy egg rolls and at the end an iced coffee. The eggs rolls were small but good. You get 4 rolls with what I believe is a sweet, savory dipping sauce. The pho came out pretty quickly as well. I was eating with a coworker and they give you one plate with mint, jalapenos, lime , bean sprouts and cilantro. Alright now to the PHO. The broth is a good beef broth. It's not too heavy or fat, and has a light beefy flavor. It's not overly onion-y and the only I thought it needed was a little savory. The beef was okay. The cuts I got were okay but there was a little more fat than I was expecting. I wasn't a huge fan of the noodles. They are the normal sized noodles but they ended up breaking apart into smaller pieces rather than holding up to the soup. It's a good bowl just not my favorite.The iced coffee was a lighter than expected. I'm used to a stronger iced coffee even when it's iced. The service was good and they checked in frequently enough to make sure I was okay. They do have other typical Vietnamese items on the menu which looked good and I might be back to try a couple of those dishes. Overall it's a good bowl of pho worth trying if you haven't had it before as well, stopping by to try some of the other menu offerings. read more

Shoes ate dinner here a few nights ago. I was pleasantly surprised! I arrived early to meet an old friend and ordered a green iced tea. Yum! The place had been remodeled with lots of stone tile and hard laminate flooring. There were a few tables occupied, but it was largely uncrowded. My friend arrived and we ordered. He was a regular here, and was known by the waitress. I ordered a chicken dish. It was good while being a little bland. I doctored it up with condiments already on the table. I think it's a tad pricey for the amount of food I got. But, the service is outstanding! And, and...a robot brings your food to the table! How much fun is that! I will go back. I've been craving pho and heard about this newly opened place in Yuma. It was a cold and rainy day which made it perfect for a big hot bowl of soup! We arrived around 2pm and it was still fairly busy and were told to Just sit down anywhere, so we found a table and it was freezing! So we moved and the same thing. A lot of the restaurants around here are very basic with simple table and chairs and nothing fancy so I wasn't expecting much but I decided to get my steamed chicken pho Togo. The guy was super polite and walked over and took my order and told me I could sit in the waiting area. We walked next store to get a sandwich and drinks for my boyfriend and my order was ready as soon as we were done. The order was packaged separate and had everything included and ready to mix! Everything was super good! The only thing I was disappointed with was the amount of bean sprouts and fresh herbs they packed.. Ive always gotten plenty so I was surprised.
