Ive been going here since they opened and it was new so things were clean but oh my goodness, I just went the other day and seriously, the board of health would shut that place down! it is filthy and I mean filthy rotten dirty!!! the technicians do not clean any of the tools they use, the floors were so dirty you could skate on them, the walls had all the paint falling off, the carts they use were crawling with scum !! I wanted to applaud Tracey for doing a fabulous job on my gel manicure!! She is able to shape, trim and polish quickly and perfectly.

Boy, have they gone downhill. The owner cares about one thing: money. Doesn't matter if it takes hours to get something done. Doesn't matter if you made an appt. Or not. Just fill those chairs. I was there over 4 hours with an appt. And I was rushed through with unsatisfactory results. I was a regular, but I'm never going back. The worst pedicure I've ever had. Should have asked the woman's name, so I make sure I never get her again. To start off, the employees were yelling at each other in Vietnamese, distressing the customers there. I asked the woman to use the e-file to shorten my toenails and she didn't. I told her I didn't want them cut or clipped but filed down. She wound up using an emory board. Not good. She left a blob of polish on one big toe and I had to ask the owner to clean it off for me. When I got home, I discovered the big toenails are very rough and catching on things. Also, the tips of the nails are missing polish. What a sloppy mess. read more

Was rushed to sit for pedicure immediately before noticing chemical & b.o. odors. The lady tho kind wasn't careful - several times I pulled back in pain. Filing uneven, cuticles not trimmed, two nicks. Doesn't appear to be gel in gel pedicure. Got four nicks in manicure, under nails not cleaned. There was no handwashing after filing, the whisk brush just rearranged the dust and polish applied right on top. Overall, shop not clean - nail dust and grunge everwhere. Appreciated they line foot bath for each customer. The price left me reeling - $30 more than SoCal. Won't return. read more

My husband and I absolutely loved going here today! Helen was so gentle in my husband's diabetic feet. Tony (I think that's his name) treated my nails with such care. He made them look terrific and made sure I was happy! He actually did something no one else has done, by making sure it didn't have the hump from the acrylic. We went to the Saigon Nails salon located next to Mod Pizza in the Whole Foods shopping center. There were too many people and not enough staff to service the clients. My pedicure was rushed and I ended up with paint off the nails and on the toes. The nail technician tried to clean it up, but the more I looked the more problems I noted. I told her it was a rushed job and that the job was crappy. They did not charge me as I asked to speak to a manager. I will never come back as the quality sucks and customer service is even worse. Stay clear of this place unless you are good with a nail job that looks like your two-year old child did it. If possible, I would give this place no stars. read more

Like most people, I'm picky and careful, when it comes to body care. I have been a regular customer to one salon, and one nail technician/artist for the last 15 years before I moved to southern Arizona. I spent about 6 months trying out different nail spas all over the Pima County area. It may be not what others think of as important, but to me, it matters that I do what I am able for my appearance. When I had a nail issue after only 5 days post a redipping, i went to an older location, not updated for a while, but they were able to take me in and fix the nail before my flight. The nail technician's name was Tony. He was fantastic. He was great at helping me, and I was sold. I won't go anywhere else. Love my biweekly mani-pedi. Don't be put off by the lack of new and sexy. New Salon in Green Valley. I have been waiting forever for this salon to open! It's new so everything is fresh and clean. They have a vast number of polish's and gel colors to choose. I like they use the disposable bags for the pedicure chairs. The decor is very tasteful from the flooring to the light fixtures to the white furniture. They also have Kuerig coffee and the man offered me wine! Fancy touch! When I arrived they were very busy and I had to wait almost an hour. I was surprised how busy they are considering they opened only a week ago. My only dissatisfaction was the time it took for my nails. I'm not sure if my technician was new but this was definitely one of the longer mani/pedis I have had. I will definitely come back for another try and see if the slow pace is part of their growing pains. read more

This place is terrible. We had called three days before to make sure we got a slot. We walked in and there's two other people waiting for us who had waited for an hour. I had asked the lady I got to get coffin nails. She takes off almost my entire acrylic nails before applying watery powder on top. I looked at her and asked what she was doing. The nails could easily break with how much fluid was in the powder. Ignored what I had said. I showed her a picture of coffin nails and then proceeds to tell her co worker She doesn't know how to do coffin. She was super rough with her filing to the point I had to rip my hand away multiple times. My nails looks like a claw on one hand and the other looked like I had mountains on them. I am so tired of nail technicians not paying attention to details. I had to have the guy correct the shellac bleeding on to my skin. Then the top glitter design was coming off. I ask him to fix it and he is offended since I bothered him again to fix his work. And when I get home, there is still the shellac on my skin. I went for dip powder nails. My nails are crooked. He filed them too much on certain nails and they just don't look squared like they're supposed to. He was super nice so I feel really bad. But to pay $55 for this just doesn't sit well with me. I feel bad saying this because nice people work here.. but my nails do not look good. If you look, you can see some nails look crooked. I know he noticed it too because it's hard not to. I should have asked him to fix it but it was about to close and I felt bad. Won't be coming back. read more

Excellent technicians, wonderful service What attention to detail! Both technicians were so careful and did such a flawless job on both the pedicure and gel manicure. It's also just a really friendly atmosphere. I don't live in Green Valley, only visiting, but it's obvious that Tony and his team are well liked by their customers, too, which makes for a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. My pedicure and manicure were of much higher quality than what I've had done at the place I usually go at home...time to find a new place that meets the standards set by Saigon Nails. read more

This is the worst place I have ever been!!!!!! I called and made an appointment for 10 am. I got there 10 minutes early, and I was not serviced until 10:35. I was moved to 3 different chairs throughout my time there. When the lady was taking my nail polish off, she kept using the same cotton ball to remove the nail polish that got onto her. It was very unsanitary. My acrylic extenders were set on uneven, my acrylics were uneven and when I commented I was fought on it. The polish was awful, the sides of my nails were forgotten, along with the cuticles of my nails. The polish job was so bad they asked if I wanted it redone. They kept calling the color I chose ugly and blames the bad nail job on the color. They redid my nails, but I left with my nails bleeding and my fingers with polish on my skin. Awful job. First off, I'm a guy with some physical challenges, so I go to Saigon Nails as a medical/physical necessity. I've been going here for about 7 years, since my bro-in-law told me he has been going for regular pedi's, too. This was my first time at their new facility due to some physical issues during the past year. To any of you who complain about their service here, I'm guessing you come in with a "kiss my butt" attitude that you brought from your "other" home. Its a shame you have to at like the queen you're certainly not here. Helen welcomed like a long lost member of her family, we talked about a lot of personal things, family, etc., etc. She was very careful to protect some of the scars I have from several surgeries, making sure not to cause any unnecessary discomfort. I dont get my tootsies polished, so I wont complain about that, but there were 3 women getting their toes don and a total of 6 women also getting their fingers done. Not sure how many had appointments, but nobody left out of frustration. There were women leaving after getting whatever done, and more coming as I left. So, for you malcontents, I'd suggest you go back home, go to South Tucson, or do your own damn nails. Who needs you and your bitter attitude? read more
