Going against the tide here, but this place is pretty gnarly. First off, overall the massage itself was pretty good. Problems: door ajar the whole time to tiny lobby which has the front door open. No blanket to get under on the table; if you're nude, you're fully exposed. The price is nice, but the place has a super cheap feel. If you are used to bodywork, this is not the place. Fantastic! Sums it up well. Went in with deep muscle issue in my glute and tightness in my lower back. Asked Angie to go deep on the glute area and she did. Although she's a tiny woman she aggressively hit the spot with elbows and knees. Stayed on the spot for a while. Felt immediate relief. I can see why folks like this place. Linda is a very strong and capable massager. I did the deep tissue mixed with stone and felt so much better afterwards. I have hip issues and she seemed to help the pain I have been experiencing. She kept saying that I was "tight" but she seemed to get in there and take care of the tightness. For our 10 year wedding anniversary, I wanted to celebrate but I didn't want to pay another 10 years for a few days of celebration. We are actually doing 10 mini dates within our anniversary month. A massage and a pedicure were on the list. So I searched for affordable massage places that offered pedicures. There are a handful of affordable massage spas that I found but I couldn't find one that offered pedicures. I almost lost all hope until I came across Saigon Massage & Nail Spa. I requested for an appointment through the Yelp app. I hit the blue button that reads, Request an Appointment. Answered a few Yelp questions that yelp provided. I asked for a price list since there were no pictures on Yelp with the price list. Within a few minutes, I got messaged from the business asking me to call to go over the prices. I was happy with the prices and made the reservation over the phone. Linda who I later found out is the owner. She texted me my confirmation and sent me a reminder confirmation on the day of my appointment. Massage Rooms: There are 3 private massage rooms. Two of the rooms have a private shower. If you book an hour massage they offer a facial mask and a shower bath. They are unable to do couple massages since each room is only big enough to fit one massage table. I was fine with not getting a massage together since my husband got an hour massage and I got a half hour massage with a pedicure. The room was clean. There was nice relaxing music playing in the background. However, you can hear people talking outside or in the other room. There was a nice scent in the room. Linda and her magical hands: Linda made small talk with me before she started. Once she touched my shoulders she could tell that I was tense. For the past few weeks, I have been doing a lot of heavy lifting, pushing, bending, and scrubbing. There was also a nagging pain in the middle of my back. She asked if I wanted the massage medium or hard pressure. I replied medium. Her initial pressure was too hard for me. She tried again. She finally asked me if I get massaged a lot. I replied no. The third try was the charm and it was heaven from then on. I got a full body massage in 30 minutes. I enjoyed the back massage but my favorite part was the foot massage. After the massage, I was offered bottled water. Before giving birth to my 3 kids I would get pedicures and manicures every other month. Now it's on special occasions. Linda cleaned my nails very well. I noticed her nice designs on her toes and asked if she could replicate it on my big toe. She kindly obliged. Her business has been open for 4 years. Other establishments around the area charge $20 more for a full body massage. I'm not sure if they offer a face mask and a shower bath around the area. Overall, it may not be a fancy spa with all the bells and whistles. But the shop itself is clean. Linda was very nice. She was able to sense my tenseness and adjust to my level of acceptable pressure. Later that night I noticed that the nagging pain on my back was gone. Prices are affordable and service is great! Co Linda gave the best deep tissue/hot stone massage I've ever had! She was very strong and clearly very experienced. She was in tune with my body and knew where all the tight areas were in my back and neck. I asked her to focus a bit on my neck, and she was very accommodating. She rubbed menthol on my neck which felt great. She also helped stretched my back, and I had some cracking relief! Everything felt amazing. Another lady gave my partner a Swedish massage the same time I had my massage, in another room. He said it was the best massage he's ever had as well! Be sure to come 10 to 15 minutes early so you can find parking. That's the only negative at this massage parlor. Lynda is super nice and had availability the very next day. I didn't realize that I could park in the 20 minute parking right in front of north side açaí shack, and I wish I had because there was a spot right in front of her store. Ended up parking at the Bank of America parking lot next-door and that worked out perfectly. Lynda gives a fantastic massage and I felt very relaxed and I'm definitely going to go back again. I've been privileged to receive many professional massages in my lifetime, so when I say the deep tissue massage here was in my top three... that's saying a lot. Linda did an excellent job. I was pleasantly surprised when she asked about my problem areas and actually proceeded to REALLY work on my problem areas. My back was especially tight between my shoulder blades, and she managed to work out a massive knot that had been hanging out for weeks in a matter of about 30 minutes. The prices here are unbeatable, especially for a 90-minute deep tissue with hot stones. As others have said, don't underestimate Linda's strength--while my back did not LOOK bruised, it definitely FELT bruised for a solid 48 hours after my treatment.
