I had such a great experience here last time and forgot to leave a review, but here it is! The lady is very welcoming and does a full body massage really well, and the pricing is reasonable. I definitely recommend coming here. read more

The owner needs to be more mindful of a new client's body issues. An aggressive approach is a disaster with someone who has neck or back surgery, or other problems. Please rethink your approach to new clients!! read more

Cannot recommend this place enough!! Karen is very skilled at what she does. This has become the only place I want to get a massage. I used a gift card a while ago and forgot about it until my neck started acting up. I just got back from a massage and it was just as amazing as I remember it. It can be a little hard to find but there is parking behind Harry's. Just go to the left of Harry's , thru white gates, turn right & up the stairs. The room is very clean and Karen is a sweetheart. I wish I could come here every week just to support this business. She offers lymphatic and other types of massages. Will be back to check try those out. read more

Karen is a delight. She took great care of me and my friend. Our facials were lovely and, honestly, we both looked so much better afterwards. I look forward to going back again soon. Pro tip: Her business is on the second floor. Take the staircase at the front of the building and head up. Her suite is on the righthand side--just knock, and she's there. read more

Really great massage by Karen. Nice cute massage studio. Clean. Professional. And her prices are very reasonable. I paid $115 for 90 minutes and got hot stones at no extra charge. I tried out their specialty massage that combines several techniques and includes hot stones on the back. Some moments were not to my liking (e.g., knee massage amd eye massage) but I left feeling rejuvenated and pain free. I would just ask to skip those brief moments next time. Overall, five star. I would return. read more

I found Karen very honest and approachable. A very relaxing vibe right from the start. It was really nice to share some coincidences with her and her humor and laughter was just as good as the massage. She's good for the body and the soul... See you soon. read more

Very friendly staff, great communication regarding parking and location. Online booking convenient. Had pregnancy massage listed on their website, which is what I was specifically looking for while visiting the area on our baby moon. Karen has been my go to massage therapist for several months now. Ever since I tweaked my back playing college softball, I have relied on regular massages to help keep my back feeling good enough to go about my daily life without hampering it too much. When I first hurt my back almost 15 years ago, I was prescribed pain killers and I quickly became addicted. After struggling for several years with getting clean, I vowed that I would never rely on pain medication ever again. Another girl who was on my team told me about massage therapy and I have been getting weekly massages ever since. It isn't cheap, but it's not as expensive as being addicted to pain pills! I moved to La Jolla a few months ago and my regular massage therapist was located all the way in La Mesa and I didn't have the free time to drive all the way out there every week. I asked around and a few of my coworkers recommended Karen at Massage Charm. She is so good at massages, definitely the best massage therapist I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. After our sessions my back feels so much better. I can actually sit down at my desk and sleep through the night without having to get up and stretch every few hours. Wether you need a massage just to relax, or you rely on them as a form of treatment, I would recommend Karen at Massage Charm! read more

I just called asking about couple massages and whomever answered the phone made me feel as if I was inconveniencing her. She exhaled as if she didn't want to be bothered. I tried to overlook it. She advised she has time today however I wanted it for tomorrow and she showed that she was irritated. I chose not to spend my money at this establishment. read more

The knots that reside in my neck and shoulders are gone! I left feeling relaxed with all the kinks worked out. It was a great experience and I highly recommend. read more

Strained my back and couldn't work-out. They got me in on a Sunday. I got a 90-minute massage and the girl was strong. I was able to do a long bike ride the next day. They have parking in the Harry's parking lot. I think they may be under new ownership. I did not have to pay up front. read more

Let me start off by saying this was a massage like no other. I've had well over 100 massages and this is the first of its kind. Karen truly cares about her patient and will adjust as she sees fit. I always have bad pain on my shoulders and lower back and she detected it right away and adjusted the massage as she saw fit. She did a combination of massages, from thai, acupuncture to swedish. She really went all out and helped me. I walked out feeling like a brand new person. I used a Groupon and had no issues scheduling appointment using her online system or using the Groupon. Thank you Karen for such a wonderful massage. Next time I'm in town, I will definitely be going back. read more

Extremely clean and most professional! I was fortunate to get a massage by Judy. She was very knowledgeable and asked questions before starting. She was able to work on my back and neck and relieve tightness and stress. I look forward to going back to Massage Charm very soon. read more

I found this place last minute and absolutely loved it. I am very picky about massages and also like very deep pressure. Karen is phenomenal and so strong. My lower back pain went away within 10 minutes of the massage- I couldn't believe it. She was also very cautious and cleaned/ wore a mask. I will definitely be going back! read more

Karen is wonderful and did an excellent job on my tight and aching back. Highly recommend.

I have been to multiple high end spas and estheticians but haven't found anything close to Karen's skill and expertise. Her facial is uncomparable to any experience in San Diego. It may seem like a quiet building with nothing going on, but what's that saying..? Don't judge a book by its cover. Karen starts by cleansing your skin with a natural cream cleanser and moves onto careful, yet gentle extractions. Then you get a soothing and refreshing mask while she does facial and arm massages. Finally your skin is left looking better than ever. Forget the fancy entrances, up-sell in after care products, and impersonal feel of high end spa. Karen cares about making sure you are personally looked after from start to finish, and her results speak for themselves! She also accommodates works schedules and does treatments in the evening during the week. Thank you for your great service and treatment! read more

I came across this place after a quick google search just looking for a decent massage. And I was SO lucky to find Karen! She will be the only person I go to in the area from now on! It's not your typical spa you would walk into , but the place is warm and inviting the second you walk in. Karen herself is kind, very professional, and great at what she does! She uses a combination of techniques that leaving you feeling great! Adding hot stones is 100% worth it. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does as well and that makes all the difference! Thank you so much Karen, I can't wait to come back! read more

Karen was out of this world! A friend and I went for the 85 minute massage and she is truly not only a massage therapist, but a healer. Her work is incredible- you will reset and recharge. I have never been so relaxed with even a full day at the spa, she is simply magic. Look forward to visiting again very soon! read more

Wow! I have never experienced a massage like this in my life! Karen is the best! She knows exactly what she is doing. She is small but mighty with very strong hands. I am planning on going back to see her at least every couple of months. Your hands are magic, Karen! I can't thank you enough. read more

I finally found it, a masseuse with skills above that of any other I have felt before. Most I have tried seem like they all got their training at the same 3 day seminar. Karen using different techniques found where my muscles were tight & causing my spine to ache, the way it had for such a long time. Thought I had to just live with it, but she worked her magic and fixed what even the Chiropractor failed to do. Haven't reviewed anyone in a long time, but this was worth sharing. read more
