I liked the combination of massage and stretching. She worked my knots very deeply, which I've found in my years of getting massages, some therapists can't help doing even if I ask for it to be lighter. She kept apologizing and saying she couldn't massage me properly with those there. It was painful to say the least. I couldn't have lasted the full hour and was glad I only did the 30 mins one. I was sore the next day, and the knots were still there later, which is what always happens with my knots. I carry all my stress in my shoulders, and they're always knotted; if someone works them out, they're back the next day. So I generally prefer an overall, medium pressure massage for the purpose of relaxing me. This was not that. It was okay, and I can see how people who like their knots worked out would enjoy coming here. The staff was all incredibly friendly and and I got an apologetic call the day before asking if they could change my therapist due to a family emergency, which was fine. I appreciated the call though. read more

Absolutely amazing massage. The best one yet! I was referred by a friend and they did not disappoint. I brought another friend with me and we both agree it was amazing. They got all the knots out, did some stretching and the essential oils really were just a great added touch. Will definitely be back read more

We asked for 90 mins, because last time my husband booked for 1 hr, but seem not enough for him, he is very big guy. Anyway we feel right decision to make an appointment instead of walk in, because seem this place is booked, I saw several walk in customers try to get the hour, but no spot for them. So really recommend you guy call ahead. Pam is my masseuse, she is good and very sweet. Recommend here read more

I wish I can get more another 1 hr. (but she is booked) So much enjoy spending time with Pear. Before my hour is over she will make sure that I really feel better, seem she is very carrying person, very kind and peaceful. Ps. I'm Thai and I can tell you Pear is real deal!!!! read more

Pearl was amazing. I have had massages for 20 years. Thai included. Pearl used different modalities of Thai massage as well as sports massage and stretching. Her education places her beyond 90% of therapists I have had. Pearl understands how sports effect the body in regards to body mechanics, injury, and recuperating. Pearl has won several years of fitness competitions. If you're visiting do yourself a favor and make an appointment. If you live in the area this is your go to person to maintain your health by taking care of your body. Pearl I can't thank you enough my hip is getting better. read more

My new favorite massage place! Be warned, this is a legit work your muscles and get your knots out massage place. If you're looking for Fru Fru pay more for the atmosphere, Fiji bottled water and a pat me down massage, this place is not for you. P Touch (yep, that's his name) did my massage, and compare to the one i got at wat pho in Bangkok where they tech this stuff, he was better. You can tell by they way he feels your muscles, he knows where the knots are. He'll ask to confirm where the knots , and work through them. Totally awesome. You're a bit sore the next day, but you feel 1000% lighter. I feel i got more than my monies worth. If you can, try going for the 9pmin session, especially if you have specific knots that you want him to work on (i had shoulders and lower back. He worked on them for over 15min each) and I can tell you the knots are gone!! He also found some other knotted areas that i didn't know i had! I almost don't want to write this review and keep this place all to myself! read more

The massage was very professionally performed and relaxing. Love this place will be back again!! read more

Another 5 star ...... this place rocks. I come here weekly it's the best massage I have ever had for a decent price. Touch my therapist is very good at what he does and yes the reviews are right it's really a good place to go for a relaxation . I like the deep tissue massage that includes stretching to work out those shoulder knots and to loosen up those leg muscles . I highly recommend this place and yes I will be back soon. read more

We have May and Pear( don't know if it is the right spelling ). I think May is new so her Massage is ok, not bad but I have better Thai massage. This location is very very small, only 3 beds, so I would recommend that you make the appointment . This place is so small that if there is a walk-in. The therapist need to stop and talk them and that has happened this morning. The air condition is also broken this morning so it is pretty hot. read more

Went here with 2 friends and seemed I got the best therapist Mila. I will be back for her next time I visit La Jolla. It was table Thai so there is massage with cream/oil as well as hot stones but definitely enough traditional Thai stretches incorporated into her style. read more

Great, very Thai and not only the name. The therapists were Thai, and the joint was in a narrow space. When my wife and I were side by side in the tiny couples area with the Thai ladies speaking their language, we felt like we were in the Sukhumvit district in central Bangkok! Very professional. read more

Amy is amazing! Do yourself and your body a favor and go and get a massage from Amy. I go every week and I don't know what I would do without Amy. Touch is a wonderful practitioner, I've been going to him for years, but he's away right now (he trained Amy), so get yourself over to Me Thai Massage and get ready to experience health like you've never experienced before. Thank you Amy! read more

I was really excited about this massage because of all the 5 star reviews, but this has to be one of the worst massages I've ever received. The massage therapist was sloppy, only using her elbows, arms, and sliding her hands across. She didn't get into any tension points or knots and was not consistent at all. Her hands and elbows were constantly sliding around vs. focusing on any area. She would massage two fingers for about 10 seconds and then move to the opposite side of my back then touch the neck for 5 seconds then move to the opposite hand and do one finger. This is how the massage went on for the entire length of the time. She never worked each finger or had a flow and worked through the tension points and knots like most massage therapists do. I left this massage with the exact same knots that I came in with, and not feeling relaxed at all. It's also in a very tiny tiny little studio and she doesn't even offer water or anything. Not worth the time or money. read more

I went to Me Thai Massage after working in my hotel all day, I'm a long time suffer of Bilateral Frozen Shoulder, and had a lovely combination massage from Pim. Each time she tried to touch my shoulders or arms, I would nearly jump off the table. She said she would go gently. I'm a massage lover of high end spas--and never felt as much relief as I felt from this massage - so much so in fact that I went again the next day, when I had an equally effective massage from her mentor Touch (yes, that's his real name). More importantly I've been able to out off surgery for the time being and possibly my permanently. This place works miracles!!! Namaste...elizabeth =) read more

Pear was amazing, she gave me an unbelievable massage! She knew all the right places to hit and her strength was incredible. Very sweet woman and great at what she does. I would highly recommend this place and Pear to anyone who is looking for a great massage! read more

I'm kind of self esteem person I have a hard time to faith or believe in someone especially about health care ; I have diagnosed the Lumbar Radiculopathy 2 years ago which cause my lower back & my left leg are very painful I can't stand more than an hourlong, can't sleep at night, sometimes I can't even move my leg to make my step forward. My doctor sent me to physical therapy twice a week about 6 months, but doesn't help or reduce my pain at all then I go to medicine therapy for get a pain short medicine to my lower back 3 times the result is the same doesn't cured or take away my pain finally I can't go to work anymore. One of my friends has told me about Thai massage at "Me Thai Massage " in La Jolla. After i did massage in couple hours, I feel very much better I can able to sleep at night. I can able to go walk at the park in the morning at lease 30 minutes, I feel my leg's muscle is relax no more stress and feel strength. I don't know how to say more thank you very much I very appreciate that I found you at the " Me Thai Massage. Regard Yours Chanhom read more

I'm a massage therapist by trade and I've had some really bad Thai massages, but "Touch", my practitioner is the REAL DEAL as so many others have pointed out. It's not always comfortable, but he listens to your body and your comments with focus. The stretching of a Thai massage can truly change your body especially if you're as flexible as I am...I also have some serious issues with my structure ( all the massages I've given) and he worked many out on the first visit...now to keep my body healthy I plan on a weekly visit....who wouldn't? The prices are reasonable and Touch is always ready to tackle any issues you may have. I'm so happy to have found this place!! read more

How can you not like the skilled hands of Touch and his female counterpart? I received an excellent Thai massage with some deep readjustment of my back, neck and thighs. Touch really knows what to do! He is gentle yet firm as you want it. My wife never liked massages because she is extremely sensitive, bruises easily and needs an extremely gentle touch. I had to practically drag her to this massage! We explained that to touch and he had his female colleague give my wife a Swedish massage that she loved so much she wants to go back in a week. She is a changed women, feeling so much better and we will both be regular customers of Me Thai Massage from now on! read more

I got a massage often but my girl moved away so I got Pear ( my therapist) today. I want to try her 60 mins because it's my first time but I finally end up with 2 hrs, she is so smooth, patient, sweet and very concern about what I want to work on and make me feel so comfortable. I'm Thai and I really can say she is so amazing, she did Thai massage, deep tissue and work on your knot. She makes sure that I satisfy and get what I want. Ask for Pear and u will never regret it. Bring cash and they will give you discount of $5-10 off. You will get your money worth, I would recommend Pear to anyone. So Pear is my therapist from now on. See you Next week... Thank you so much. read more

First time I've EVER written a Yelp review, but I had to for this place. I got a thai massage by Pim. The place is small, but it is still very relaxing and clean. Pim took her time and really worked on my shoulders and neck which have been giving me pain for quite some time. My whole body felt so relaxed and refreshed leaving this place. I'm so happy to have found it! Before I left, I also met Mr. Touch who also has an amazing personality and really knows what areas are concerning for people.
