She also did such a good job making sure all the hair was taken care of, I even got to double check to make sure everything was good before the session ended. The store and the rooms were very clean. The AC was on and kept the sugaring room cold, which is much appreciated once the sugaring starts. Easy parking right out in front of the store. I'm so happy a sugared + bronzed opened up in San Diego! I had Marissa, sugar me and it was a great experience. I think sugaring does hurt, but it's not painful. I think it's a lot better than traditional, waxing and shaving overall. I see a huge difference after my first Sugar. This time I came back for my second one and it was great. BAD ERGONOMICS AND SEATING FOR A 30% AVERAGE HIGHER PRICE (alias name) The seating experience was very bad, and could not recommend this place. When I first entered the room, there was a flat bad. Not a normal, typical esthetician spa bed as seen below (second picture). (which have 1) natural head padding, and 2) tilted adjustable seating The person tried to adjust and offered me a triangle pillow which was not good quality, not the technicians fault neither. It was a semi-triangle instead of a normal pillow (which is oval), making it worse. The whole experience on my head and neck was very uncomfortable, without a titled back seat. After lying there for an hour, I got moderate neck shoulder pain waking up next morning. I have done hair removal 5 times already at other places, and never had this experience. Why would the product director and owners allow this kind of seating? (Flat bed, non adjustable, non tilted)?? Any simple google search for spa bed will bring you the first picture ergonimic adjustable bed below. They are familiar how spa beds typically look like in the industry. It was bad for younger men, I cant imaging how the elderly customers feel. When I contacted customer service email politely first they said those were standard spa beds which is not true in San Diego , go around and look. That was the first lie they said. I asked for a $40 partial refund , not even full. I asked that they call which they did not. Good luck. See stupid response below , why would I want a gift card to risk hurting neck again? read more

I received 2 treatments - a brazilian sugaring and a spray tan. This place is conveniently located and has a little private parking lot. If the lot is full, there is plenty of street parking. The facility is very cute and clean. Kelly did my brazilian. She was so professional! Not only did she work quickly, she is a gifted conversationalist and managed to keep me talking and distracted throughout the appointment. I am really happy with the results and highly recommend sugaring over waxing. Sugaring hurts less, and my skin responds much better to it long term. Paige did my spray tan. This was my first spray tan since the early 2000s and I was afraid of looking orange. Paige was really informative and reassuring while explaining the process and options. I felt completely at ease after she talked me through it! I chose a level 3 (out of 4) and am so happy with the results. I will definitely be back! read more

So, the good. Everyone was very very nice! I was nervous as I'm a little overweight. My tech was kind and everything well really well. My tan looked really pretty the next morning. I was excited and feeling pretty The not so good. I followed all the after care instructions to a T. Imagine my embarrassment later that day on vacation by the pool ( did not go in ) leaving pink tan patches ALL over the towel. My calves, butt and stomach are all mixed match and blotchy. I have airbrushed before and absolutely understand there will be some of the product on a towel after the first shower. I showered and applied lotion like the after care explained. Yet, day two..I'm still leaving my "tan" behind on the towel and have very uneven "tan" and pale skin everywhere :( I don't feel as pretty anymore. Oh well, silver lining... I guess I can enjoy the pool now without worry about my tan fading...lol.. it already has. :) read more

I never get spray tans but have done self tanner at home for years. I had the absolute best experience yesterday. I went for a level 4 because if I'm getting a spray tan why not get my money's worth!!! Daysia (hope I spelled that right) did my spray tan and she made me feel so comfortable. Woke up this morning looking like an absolute tanned goddess because of her and I'm so grateful. The color is olive-toned and looks so natural and not orange at all--which I was afraid of. I will literally drive an extra 20 minutes to go somewhere where I won't have to drive around looking for parking. They have a little parking lot for customers so you can pull right in.
