Have mostly had positive experiences here except for my most recent one that really didn't leave a great taste in my mouth - I came at the end of the day with an appointment. I showed up on time but they ran late and I waited 15-20 minutes to get started. Then my masseuse seemed upset that my massage was going to run late and seemed to rush through it. She also only gave me a 50 minute massage when I paid for an hour, and spent multiple chunks of time stepping out / talking to others out in the hall. Because of this most recent experience I am not sure if I will be coming back. They do offer couples massages as well. I recommend making an appointment in advance especially for peak times like weekends and Friday nights, since they can fill up.

In my experience most Asian massage spas charge 1$ per minute approximately, so this place is slightly higher than others places. Reina and Ella massaged us. Reina speaks good English, a first for me in Chinese Spas. She stated i had poor circulation due to kidney issues... crazy because i was born with one kidney. She also described me to the T about my personality traits and habits. She seemed very knowledgeable about healing and massage. Massage was good! She is strong for a tiny girl. She recommended i go to her sister, Amy, for Meridian treatment. I will try it because i have some health issues. My wife love her massage with Ella. We ate breakfast in San Diego. Within two hours of my massage, i felt drugged!! The massage made me very relaxed and sleepy. We made it home and i took a two hour nap!! For people who complain about tipping at massages, they earn a good tip!!! They are not refilling your coffee and carrying a plate of food 30'! 20% is generally not enough. My tip is unusually Between $25-$100 depending on quality and length (1-2 hours ) of massage.

I'm actually from LA, but whenever I'm down in SD to visit I always want to get a Thai massage…read more Luxury Thai Massage gives some of the best stretches and massages you can ever imagine. For my first two times I've had Samantha and she was great. However, I recently received therapeutic services from Lilly and she was stellar! Based from my experience with Lilly, she did a lot of back walks, which was amazing; basically trampled all over my back and even pressure to my hands and feet. She also performed the thai signature technique "Cobra" (or 'Bhujangasana') which felt super relieving. It opened up my chest and shoulders and improved my spinal mobility. A lot of the Thai massage therapists (not just from here but other Thai massage places) don't perform the 'cobra' on me so Lilly was the first that I got this from. Towards the end she also had my back on top of her knees and basically pushed me upwards to get some cracks in, and mind you, I weigh about 230 pounds so that was very impressive! Some of the other things they do are typical Swedish massage and also has some hot stone application. Other notables: -Parking is pretty small and I believe it's shared in the same complex with the other shops. I went on a Thursday afternoon so it wasn't too bad! -If you pay cash you get a discount! -It's next to a small airport so you may hear jet noises but that didn't really disturb my experience. -Restrooms are on the middle floor (basically half way up their staircase they have a women/men's room) -They do have zen vibes and play some type of peaceful sounds inside; definitely quiet and well-respected atmosphere. -After massage, they offer you either hot tea or water (your choice) Next time, I will surely be back and request for Lilly. She knows it best!

I was a walk in and was lucky enough to get an hour massage at 7pm which I'm so thankful for because I really needed it. My back seriously thanks y'all ! They also include hot stones complimentary which is nice because most places charge, so overall I was really impressed with the whole service. The price was worth it! Every time I have ever had a deep tissue massage at other places, they either don't go hard enough in my knots OR there's always a section in the massage that is too hard or hits sensitive spots for me. NOT WITH SUSAN. Susan was so so so great! It was like she could read my mind...harder on the knots in my shoulders and back, but lighter near my spine, glutes, and lower rib area. I didn't even have to tell her what I needed; it was as if she KNEW to spend more time on my shoulders and upper back. It completely opened up and loosened all of my knots. Susan is a godsend. Not only that-- but afterwards, Susan and the receptionist were SO incredibly nice. They looked so happy and eager, and made sure to walk me out and greet me goodbye. At other places, the therapist will often run out of my room without saying anything, never to be seen again. I really appreciate the genuine service here! I will DEFINITELY be coming back and telling all of my friends about this GEM of a place

Upon arriving to the tiny plaza - parking can be 50/50. I had called days in advance to book my appointment but when I arrived the guy who answered was the guy at the front seem to have never booked me (that was weird) but got the masseuse to bring me to a room and give me a massage. I the masseuse lady was nice, didn't really talk, and gave me a good full body massage and did some hot stones but don't recall reviewing foot exfoliation. I left her a decent tip and wouldn't mind returning again on another Groupon deal. Afterwards, leaving the small parking lot was a mess. A delivery truck parked and blocked many cars. He did guide me out a tight squeezed space but still... very inconvenient for all the businesses.

Long time staple in the convoy area, Happy Buddha has been there forever. Here's the basic info you need to know... They offer Reflexology and regular massages. Reflexology massages are not your normal spa treatment. There is a large community room with reflexology chairs. They don't have flat treatment tables, you don't take off any clothing, and there are no women giving any kind of massage, only men. Regular massages are dung in the back. The reflexology massage starts off with soaking your feet in a warm water bath. Treatment starts at your head and neck working towards your shoulders. They work on your upper back and both your arms. Finishing off with your legs and feet. Very quiet and relaxing you can't beat 60-90 minutes for $35-$50! A minimum 60 minute massage is a must, 90 minutes is even better! Calling to schedule an appointment is the best to make sure it fits within your schedule. Walk ins are available if they don't have any appointments. If you see a guy sitting outside, he's available for a walk in treatment! Don't let a male giving you a massage bother you from giving this place a try. I have received some of the best massages from males... why? They are stronger and can apply more specific and overall pressure! A few other things to note... cash is preferred, but credit cards are accepted. Very limited English is spoken and understood. The parking lot is usually crazy packed. Bring cash for tipping.
