DO NOT WORK WITH THEM! I hired Saiaf Films for photography and videography for 4 wedding events, Nikkah, Mehndi, Baraat reception, and Walima reception in June 2021. They are deceiving, unprofessional lying individuals. I paid $8000 for services and products to be provided by them and 50% was not done. Below is a list of what they had promised and did not accomplish: 1. Three team-members from Saiaf will be present at ALL events. TWO SHOWED UP. One - visibly sick, the other seemingly lost and not present at important moments. Resulting it horrible quality of work. 2. Drone footage through out the event (only had drone footage at two events of the four, at the start of the event for 5 minutes - because of lack of workers present that were promised to be there - what we paid for) 3. NEVER RECEIVED THE HARD DRIVE FOR DIGITAL COPIES OF OUR PHOTOS AND VIDEOS! I HAVE NO OWNERSHIP OF MY PHOTOS AND VIDEOS, besides the two albums sent to us (the most cheap and horrible quality, such small albums and paper thin materials used) 4. Asking for final payment all in cash at the event while the event is still happening. (meanwhile I have zero content from my event yet he wants his money in FULL. ALSO we had to pay 75% of the cost months prior to the event. Never heard of 75%. 5. Because there were only 2 workers present at each event - the videos and photos are horrible. One person running around trying to take photos the other busy trying to set up a video camera stand so it can catch something - meanwhile things are cut out because no one is moving the video around, its stationary. Important speeches and dance preformances not recorded and/or cut out faces because no one is holding the camera it is just on a stand. 6. Apparently they shut down the company soon after my wedding, but its back up and running as of late, and I have been reaching out for some assistance and help yet NO REPLIES. How unprofessional. All I want is the videos and photos. I PAID FOR IT. THE LIST GOES ON. I am so deeply hurt - 3 years later. trying to watch videos of my wedding with family and loved ones. My 3 year old son, yet I have NO copies of the professional footage because it was never sent to us. This is so saddening and a waste of my money and trust in this company. My wife and I live in Texas, but Saiaf went out of his way to meet with us for an engagement shoot in Scottsdale on short notice. The photos he and his team took at all of our wedding events (engagement, tea ceremony, wedding ceremony, reception) were amazing and at a much more reasonable price than any other REPUTABLE company we found (key word:reputable....you can find cheaper photographers, but they are super unprofessional and sloppy). I e-mailed to let them know I'm missing 5 sets of DVD's and several 8X10's as stated in the contract. 18 month after the wedding, they sent me the 5 DVD's piled on top of each other in a dirty box with hairy dust balls and strands of human hair. I hired Saiaf films and photography for my wedding and it was a complete disaster. Not only did he take my money and not provide any services, but when I tried to dispute the charges with my bank, he forged my signature and altered the contract. He even went so far as to change the dates of my wedding and claimed that he had already provided all of the services and delivered the products. I had to file a police complaint and press charges against him, which resulted in an arrest warrant being issued in the state of Texas. Thankfully, he was eventually caught and forced to settle the case and return my money, but not before causing me a great deal of stress and inconvenience. STAY AWAY! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Based on previous reviews there are clearly some recurring themes however SAIAF FILMS ALMOST RUINED OUR WHOLE WEDDING. The whole process of hiring SAIAF was great. They were very responsive, professional and agreed to meet our needs. However, once we paid our final payment they practically disappeared off the face of the planet. The disaster started the day of our wedding. SAIAFs crew flew from Arizona to NJ and one hour before our shoot we get a text message explaining that they could not rent a car from the airport because they were under age and asked if we can drive them around in our personal car. We practically had a heart attack at this point. First off we had a car rental for the wedding that could not fit the team and their equipment and second this is the last stressor you need on the most important day of your life. Finally they agreed to just uber around to all our locations and shoots. However we quickly realized that waiting for ubers took a huge chunk of our time and took away from all the shoots we wanted to get done. Although three team members showed up to our house one team member requested to stay behind and ended up sleeping in our basement for hours because he was not needed until the wedding started. Because there was a missing team member my husband ended up having to carry around their equipment to speed up the process and the agreed upon drone video was not completed because one team member had to take photos while the other did video. Mind you the drone was agreed upon and written in the contract. Once the wedding started everything was smooth sailing and the team members tried to be as helpful as possible. However they arrived late to the wedding hall due to their uber and needed an extended amount of time to setup so they were not able to complete all the family photos we had agreed upon. Once the wedding was over they returned to arizona and we went on our honey moon for two weeks. Upon returning to the states we called saiaf films to explain the disastrous service provided on the wedding day. Saiaf, the owner of the company, was very kind and promised to make up for it with additional services. As the process of editing our photos and videos  began we realized it was almost impossible to get in touch with anyone at SAIAF. Phone calls and voicemails were ignored, their voicemail inbox eventually became full and some emails were not replied to for weeks. In the middle of our project the person in charge of our project and our main contact person apparently left and we were never informed. We were emailing her and and months later she informed us she had nothing to do with our project anymore. We finally got in touch with our new project point person and he was the worst. Our new team member was THOMAS RILEY. He would take forever to respond to emails and it was one mistake after the other. One of the main reasons we hired SAIAF was because I wear hijab and required certain level of privacy with editing and publishing my content. Multiple times our projects were publicly posted and complete strangers brought it to our attention. It took forever for us to resolve the issue and have it taken down and password protected. When we received our photos they were literally taken off the memory card, uploaded and sent to us. When we inquired as to why they were not edited or enhanced they explained they had some pre set standard and since all photos met those standards there was no need to edit them. WHAT IS THE POINT OF HIRING A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO EDIT AND ENHANCE THE PHOTOS. When our album was complete a link was sent to us and we were asked to send all the edits we wanted. WE REPLIED TO THE EMAIL WITHIN 30 MINUTES. We then get a response explaining that they can not do our edits because it was already sent to the publisher. They finalized the album before sending me an email asking for my edits. Also, THOMAS RILEY was extremely rude in his responses and said that we pretty much had to deal with it because they were not going to make any changes. MIND YOU THE PHOTO THEY PUT ON OUR WEDDING ALBUM COVER IS A PHOTO I DONT EVEN LIKE! Finally 6 months after the agreed upon date in our contract we received the final photos, videos, and photo album. The quality of the photos and the video were no where near close the quality they publish on their website and their social media accounts. However we had enough of dealing with SAIAF FILMS and know that we will not be able to get anywhere with them and we accepted what we are stuck with. It is very unfortunate things turned out this way because this relationship started off on a really high key. However they were clearly taking on more work than they can handle and hiring mediocre photographers and videographers to keep up with the demand. I have been following Saiaf Films for years and immediately booked him for my wedding the day we set a date. My experience was extremely disappointing, beyond the initial interaction and day of being great, the customer service and product I received were not at all worth it. It took 6.5 months since the day of my wedding to receive my package, the contract said if it's completed in longer than 4 months you're limited to 100 extra photos or an extra dvd and I wasn't offered either. It took 2 months to upload my raw images. I assumed this would mean he spent 2 months filtering them to only send me the good photos so I can choose my favorite 500. He sent me all the images he took, probably over 4K. Despite this, I only chose 420 images because they were so repetitive or just bad photos in general. The photos did not give the impression that a professional took them, there was 0 creativity, and a bunch of mistakes like basic symmetry and multiple photos with objects in them (example in comments). The photos with additional objects that made it into my final edits did not have them removed, I had to specify which ones I wanted him to crop (photo of email exchange re: editing in comments). He claims his pictures need no edits out of the camera, which is NOT why I hired a photographer, the editing is as important if not more so than the photography. My pictures were extremely warm or B&W, both things I could've easily done myself. They kept mentioning that "it's not in your package but this is a gift." I'd rather get something of quality for what I paid for (which wasn't a small amount) than be made to feel everything is such a generous gift and I'm just ungrateful. I had mentioned that there is a drone in my package and I didn't see the footage in my videos. He was nice enough to include it, and my highlight video satisfied me enough to be willing to overlook everything else. I really do love my highlights video, it's as nice as the ones I watched and based my decision to hire him off of. However, the general manager with whom I had never spoken to (not a pleasant person to communicate with, his emails are in a comment) decided I should pay a difference for the drone videography or they will remove it, and they did. When my husband interfered, Anthony replied that my package would be sent out but they were waiting for an album. I didn't have an album. So he said they're waiting for the prints. They sent me 4 prints I could've done without and again, bought themselves an extra 3 weeks Anthony emailed me that my package was shipped on 7/10/18. It wasn't and was shipped a week after that. I finally received my package, exactly 6 months and 13 days after my wedding. The package looks absolutely NOTHING like what's on their website (comparison photos in comments). Overall, my experience with them was about a 3/10. That 3 is for ease of booking aka getting paid, their pleasant interaction and presence at the wedding, and my highlight video before my drone footage was removed from it. And afterwards I was approached by other brides who had similar experiences so this isn't a one time occurrence. I spent a long time researching wedding photographers in my area and was hit hard by their work, they automatically went to the top of my list and we are so happy that they could shoot our wedding. After having the opportunity to meet, it was clear how their personality and passion matched their talent, these guys are a force! On our big day they were focused, professional and attentive behind the lens and so much fun during all the bits in between. Group shots were super smooth and efficient, then individual shots with my wife were just a blast. Saiaf Films was my one and only choice for a photographer. Rarely have I felt an experience more authentically captured in images than when I look at Saiaf's photos of our wedding. They feel like us -- which is such an impossible thing to articulate, but Saiaf was able to intuit and execute flawlessly. Saiaf was an absolute professional and used the surroundings to create fairy-tale like images that feel unique and that reflect our experience. He did all this without ever complaining about the long day of shooting or the heat. His flexibility is unparalleled for a wedding photographer. We took photos everywhere from the desert to city hall, and he guided us through the process with such ease and kindness. Having him in the wedding made me calm, just knowing someone was there to capture everything. I am extremely amazed on how the quality of the photos are . The sharpness of the quality of the photos really looks good. They used aperture which is a usage of higher ISO. However, while using this shallow depth is most often make the photographs look very beautiful. The photos are not missing the main focus of their photography films . By Saiaf films crew, having a strong handle on creating higher quality final photographs is a best step of the final printing. Light and exposure to the photos real have a raw fix to the exposure in the editing process in a higher percentage of their of photographs. They did a pretty good job with tweaking the final photographs for the tones and the coloring. The tones and coloring seem to have more accurate starting place to make the photographs look great as possible. The lighting exposure to the photographs are brighten through neutral or dark tones looking like real scenes. Composition is a strong key towards their films and photography creating viewers ti understand the logical and pleasing way of the final prints. The Saiaf film also understand it is important to give the photograph films balance by placing things in the corners to help the photograph catch more attention to audience. Their post production steps is where they do not make mistakes happened. The results of their photo films create expose the color temperature, highlights, and shadows and the times these are suppose to be adjusted. Successful vignette will often make their photos come unnoticeable in making mistakes to overshadow the the photo films. read more

We all want the dream wedding however planning a dream wedding while trying to cover bills can make things kind of tricky. Thanks to the wonderful staff at saiaf films planning a portion of the wedding was easy and affordable. We were assigned 3 staff members to cover our wedding including Stephanie who was WONDERFUL and made the experience smooth. She was there to answer any questions or concerns we had or even to lend an ear when I was stressed out about the event in general she was there! Jacob was equally wonderful. He was also there whenever we had any concerns and even scheduled a 2 he scheduling meeting to go over everything make sure we were all on the same page and plan the day of to make sure all went smooth. Without this wonderful staff I don't know how I would've got through the day. Fast forward to the day of..The staff arrived early to check out the scene and set up. Everyone was friendly and so happy for us that the day had arrived! They took a wide range of portraits from the wedding Hall to family portraits. They took photos of the ceremony it self and the reception following. They were able to capture the moments that I want to remember for the rest of my life. They were able to capture not only a picture but the emotions within the picture and the photos came out absolutely amazing! Captured with a 24 to 105 lense they were able to get all my favorite shots . I am extremely grateful for saiaf films for everything they did to ensure I would have memories for a lifetime. Because of them I will be able to look back and remember this day exactly as it was for the rest of my life. I highly recommend these guys and would and will use them for my next big event! So far, so good. (Wedding was 12/31/17) We met with Saiaf and one other photographer when deciding who would shoot our wedding. Saiaf's knowledge, professionalism, and portfolio blew the other away! We immediately decided to hire Saiaf Films and have not regretted anything. We asked that Saiaf himself be present to shoot at our wedding, and luckily he was able to accommodate us, which gave us extra peace of mind knowing that we were in great hands. On our wedding day, he and his team were on time, set up, and ready to roll right when we asked them to be. Having one less thing to worry/stress about about on your wedding day is a good thing! Saiaf was a great interactive presence at our wedding, making sure to capture funny moments, and asking if there was anything that was necessary to be photographed. Many of our relatives and friends commented on how great he was. I agreed with them, as it was nice to have somebody that was enjoyable to interact with, rather than just a cameraman pointing and clicking. Our photos were returned to us roughly a month after our wedding, as promised. They came out of the camera beautiful! We are currently sorting through more than 7,000(!) pictures trying to figure out which ones will make the final cut and be edited/enhanced. After more than a whole year of planning for my wedding, I still didn't have a photographer booked. I was really stressing on this. My mother used to say the most important guest at any wedding is the photographer, as they capture the only living relics of one of the most important days of a person's life. Unlike the work of the other wedding vendors you have to hire to prepare for the big day (music, flower arrangements, cake), photographs aren't things you can hear, smell, or taste at first--so you don't really know what you're getting until after the fact except by looking at the photographer's portfolio of past work, the quality of which can sometimes depend (to some degree) on the client's level of skill in planning their own wedding. I knew this, and for me it meant careful research and selectiveness regarding professional skills, artistic style and personal demeanor were extra important when choosing my photographer. I didn't want to hire just anybody for the job. I wanted wedding photos I would be proud to frame and hang on the walls of my home, ones that really captured the essence of my special day. After all, human beings don't remember days, we remember moments! Saiaf Films really knocked it out of the park for me. I simply cannot recommend them enough. I almost never write reviews for things, but Saiaf Films was so wonderful at my wedding that it feels like the least I could do. I actually called them on the recommendation of a close friend of mine whose wedding photos I loved. By the time I had gotten around to tackling the dreaded task of finding a wedding photographer, it was only about a bare month prior to the Big Day, and my nerves were already through the roof. Saiaf was absolutely wonderful and helped put my mind at ease right away. He met with me prior to my wedding day to discuss expectations with me and so that I could show him some photos of my family members so he'd know who they were to be certain he didn't miss them (imagine getting your wedding photos back and not having one of your mother or somebody!) We also notified him of the venue -- a beautiful church -- so that he could go out and explore it on his own and sort of scope out the whole scene and the way it was all laid out, and from this he came to us on our wedding day with some truly brilliant ideas. On the day of, he came out and really captured the magic of our wedding. He made my husband and I feel like glamorous Hollywood movie stars. He demonstrated this rare genuine passion for his craft -- becoming visibly excited about finding the perfect lighting, the perfect angles, the perfect scenes -- so that there was a lot of fun and spontaneity involved in what was very much a pre-planned shoot. He was great with the guests, like an old friend to everybody, totally comfortable and humble and this really helped put everybody at ease while we were all being photographed. Saiaf films did a wonderful job at my sisters quinceañera, they were very professional and gave as an excellent price. The package they sold us came with an huge 50 page photo album and a personalized DVD case for our videos . The prints that came in the album were of fantastic quality and in that album they'll last forever. As for the video quality it was astounding, I rewatched it recently and it took me right back. I wanted to wait to write my review until our closest friends and relatives had the chance to look over our Wedding Album. After months of me nitpicking over the details in every single photo, I can say with certainty that Saiaf Films was the absolute best choice for our wedding! We were married in Reno, and wanted photos done there, and in North and South Lake Tahoe. It was an elaborate, two-day plan, and relied heavily on clear weather. Our arrangement was to meet on the walk by the Truckee River, make our way to the Arch, then to the reception dinner. The following day, we drove from Reno to South Lake Tahoe to get some gorgeous shots on the beach, then made our way to the North side. The crew of three arrived early and coordinated with us on the details. We wanted very specific shots, such as my husband and I walking away on the bridge over the Truckee River hand in hand, all of my siblings at once, and my parents together (they're divorced). I should mention that the chapel we used provided photos and video footage of the ceremony, and our family set up for video and photos as well, so we didn't see the point in tripling up. Some of the best shots we got in Reno were actually on the way to the Reno Arch and to dinner, as we got a lot of attention walking downtown in wedding attire! The next morning, we met up with the crew at our hotel and made our way to South Lake Tahoe. It was windy, but the beach photos were definitely worth the trouble! They took their time to make sure we got the best angles, and used the wind to their advantage to show off the layers of my dress. But, as we made our way up to the North shore, it became clear that a storm had caught us. We did finally make it to the North shore, but it took us about four hours because of chain control! Thankfully they didn't close the roads, but we certainly didn't think that we would be spending the first day of our honeymoon in wedding attire dealing with snow chains. The Saiaf crew was exceptionally helpful through the whole ordeal, and took some breathtaking photos to boot. There were a couple of sightseeing stops along the way that gave us a beautiful view of the trees and lake, even with the snow and wind. Over three months later, and after their tireless tolerance of my perfectionistic attitude, we have a wedding album, photos, and videos that couldn't possibly have been done better! Everyone who has seen them has raved about not just the quality, but the fact that we were able to capture such a variety of locations, and to have a crew that would work with us for more than just one day. These guys know what they are doing. I have been to several weddings, and the amount of time and effort they put into their work and craft is amazing. I'm from California. I drove this far for a close friend's wedding, and saw this on yelp and decided to try it out. At first, I was slightly thrown off with the lower stars. Lots of explanations were given about how the amount of care was lacking, their workers were unprofessional, etc. I tried them out, told them that I had heard a multitude of problems and pluses about their business, and they knew that they needed to improve. They had told us that many problems had arose in a few events, but they were confident that nothing major would happen within our event. I was given the role to simply look over different picture/video crews for weddings and such, and choose these guys. Glad I didn't choose some others. They were very professional at our event : The camera crew, the drones.. The workers were also very friendly and greeted many of our guests. They were really nice and would treat as both as friends and business partners. They were there for their business, but seemed very excited for the marriage of my close friends and the venue. The photos were shot from a multitude of angels. They wanted to get every single picture to be a different point of view - Almost as if the camera had showed the point of view of a guest who had been at such a beautiful event. The workers of Saiaf Films were extremely professional while taking photos : They were courteous to our guests, making sure it wasn't all up in their faces or fly the drone at the level of hair of our guests. Having them take a ton of photos allowed us to be able to choose our photos later, as some were extremely well taken, while some were just not at that level. After the event, the photos were brought back to their "lab", to be reviewed over. They allowed us to go over the photos, and man. There were a ton! The amount of photos reviewed was crazy, and we all knew that it was going to be a long day. Yet Saiaf Films still stuck through with us and helped us sort out all our problems with different photos. They never broke their professionalism of being rude to their customers at all, and even gave their own personal opinions as if they were truly our friends, trying to help us out. These guys work as if their customers were truly family. They are extremely kind, and hardworking people who know their job and do it well. They spent a ton of time perfecting their craft and their work, helping our wedding be that awesome wedding. Oct 2017 - My fiancé and I are extremely happy in choosing Saiaf Films for our photographer! The packages they offer and the value of them is great. We looked at several different photographers and none could beat what we got from Saiaf Films or the price. We have only taken our engagement photos but absolutely love the quality in them! If you want memorable photos and footage of your event keep looking elsewhere. I'm not sure how so many people put good reviews for this company on (the knot and weddind wire) After a long wait (almost two years), we finally get our photos and video and it was not worth the wait or the money paid. We feel like we paid someone to practice being a photographer. Most photos of the bride and groom were of the back of the grooms head with the bride showing facing the groom or the back of the brides head with the groom facing the bride. The photographers did not have what it took to really create something special. Did not have an eye or passion for photography. Before hiring them the term 'cinematography' caught my eye and I thought they were the real deal, but I was in for a surprise my wife will never get over the complete failure on my part that I actually hired these guys. Word of advice, get anyone else. These guys do not know how to take quality photos or video. I wish I had went on yelp before hiring them and seeing all these bad reviews!! Reading the bad reviews brings back all the memories of going through the same. Great communication before you pay them and once you pay them they take for ever to reply to emails and don't even think about calling them. I'm pretty sure they blocked my number and there was once when they called my from s private number. I would have paid twice the amount they charged me for someone to actually do the job right. The are inexperienced. I told them the wedding would be around 500 people and a team of 2! A team of 2 people came to cover the wedding. I wish I can give them less than one star Well my wedding was in February,2015 and so far nothing is done guys be careful go somewhere else, they collect the money before the day of the wedding or they won't come, after the wedding you basically can't reach them because they don't have an office and they don't answer the phone unless you're the new victim so the only way to reach them is through emails and you get a reply after two to three months and every time they answer is a new guy and we have to explain everything over and over , so basically we paid for the platinum package and the forgot the drone shoots and A lot stuff and the won't edit pictures only like 10 to 15 pictures so the can put it on there site and Facebook and at the end nothing done not even an album read more

If I could give these unprofessionals negative stars then I would. It took 1.5 yrs, at least 50 emails, several calls which were never answered, for me to receive my wedding video/pictures. The only reason I did not sue them was because I did not have the time to deal with the process. It took Saiaf films 4 months before they sent me the first set of pictures and 6 months for the wedding videos. I had to go over the wedding videos at least 5-6 different times for them to correct everything I wanted. It was so painful at the end that I did not even look at the final CD's when they arrived. Thanks to the incompetent staff at Saiaf films, I now have bad memories attached to one of the most beautiful days of my life. I could write a whole lot more but do not want to get into a bad mood again rethinking of the pain I went through dealing with these people. The entire team seems to not know what's going on. First, they indicated the founder would fly out for the event didn't happen. Second, took them about 4 months to reconcile we over paid and agree with us. Third, during the wedding the photographers didn't think of very basic pics like making sure to include all of the family, talking with us about a strategy, etc. Fourth, amateur photographers, while most images were fine, a good chunk were head scratchers (backs of people's heads). Finally, they sent us the wrong contract this am indicating we didn't purchase the album (they were looking at and old, unsigned version). Company is clearly overstretched, don't hire them out if AZ seems to be a trend with the reviews, and we agree. read more
