I had a great experience with the doctor--he was kind, patient, and never pushy. I'm so relieved to have found someone who can come to me for pet visits, since taking my pet out is always a challenge!

My 15yo dog Sasha.

My sweet Sasha let me know today that it was her time to go. Our usual vet didn't have any available appointments for the next day or so and I wanted to have my girl treated at home. That's when I found Dr. VK and Sai mobile vet service. He is so kind and gentle and told us the process before and as he did it. He kissed our girl on her head and said nice things. Highly recommend as he is compassionate and kind.

Here's King after his IV still looking happy because he had such an amazing doctor caring for him!!!!

Very caring vet that has helped us euthanize two pets. Both times their professionalism, patience and caring nature was evident.

Prior to this we didn't have much vet exposure or a few times in earlier years elsewhere. Our dog was always seen with love and care. As she aged she did come down with cancer with a mass cell tumor. Bishop Ranch was very truthful, open minded, and helped guide us along the way. The diagnosis was given roughly 2 months before her 11th bday. We decided on palliative care which Bishop Ranch 100% supported. Our dog went on to live another 18 months under no direct treatment. We saw multiple vets, phone visits with advice nurses and doctors throughout and just met with so much love. The care these doctors and office staff gave really had us feel secure in knowing that when it was time to put our dog down they would be the best ones to support us. Unfortunately we had to put our beautiful GSP Lumen down about 12 days ago. It was so heavy but the vets were all so in tune and supportive to our family. Today I opened up the mail expecting a generic card from the vet and lo and behold the staff hand wrote an entire card filled to the brim over our dogs loss. This truly meant so much to my family and I/ The village of support is so heartfelt. The service we have continued to receive ongoing has been nothing but amazing. I can't recommend this vet enough. We will continue to bring our other dog, Pepper here who recently joined the family.

I'm very grateful for the excellent care Oliver received and definitely recommend Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center to anyone looking for a veterinary team they can trust.

Five enthusiastic, tail-wagging, floppy-ear-saving stars for VEG San Ramon!…read more When things get hairy with your pets, and I'm not talking about the fur, I'm talking about those unexpected panic moments that send you racing to an emergency vet, you want expertise, compassion, and honesty. After our recent experience with VEG San Ramon, I can confidently say they exceeded every expectation. A few nights ago, my dog developed an aural hematoma on his ear. While a floppy ear might not be a big deal for some dogs, mine is a working dog, and preserving his physical condition is important for the job he does. Knowing we needed emergency care, I immediately tracked down Dr. Brittany, a veterinarian I had worked with before and trusted completely. There is a reason I sought her out. Dr. Brittany combines the bedside manner of an angel with the skill and confidence of an exceptional emergency veterinarian. She listens, truly listens, not just to the symptoms but to the owner and the individual needs of the dog. For those of us in the working dog world, finding a veterinarian who understands the unique challenges and safety considerations of these dogs is incredibly rare. One of the things I love about VEG is their open-concept hospital. We were able to stay with our dog, watch the procedure, monitor his condition, and actively participate in decisions. As a teaching hospital, Dr. Brittany asked if a student could perform the procedure under her supervision. Normally, I would have hesitated, but her confidence and willingness to remain involved every step of the way gave me complete peace of mind. The results were outstanding. At one point, I had concerns about making an additional adjustment during the procedure. Instead of dismissing them, the team had a collaborative discussion with me, and together we agreed on the best path forward. That level of partnership and respect is priceless. I also want to recognize the nursing staff. Every technician and team member was kind, professional, and welcoming. They treated both us and our dog with incredible care and compassion. The hospital was spotless, organized, and genuinely felt like a place where everyone worked together for the best outcome. And now, let's talk about everyone's favorite emergency-room topic: the bill. Emergency veterinary care is never cheap. If your dog hasn't figured out how to file insurance claims or start contributing to the household budget, you're paying for it yourself. That said, VEG was transparent, fair, and upfront about costs. They offered options, discussed treatment plans thoroughly, and made sure there were no surprises. As a working dog handler, Dr. Brittany will always be our first call in an emergency. But more importantly, this experience reinforced our trust in VEG as a whole. The care is collaborative, the communication is exceptional, and the focus is always on what's best for the patient. To Dr. Brittany, the students, the nurses, and the entire VEG San Ramon team: thank you. You didn't just treat a hematoma. You cared for a dog who means the world to his family, and that kindness, skill, and compassion will never be forgotten. 100% recommended for any emergency veterinary need.

Both my son and I have experienced situations, on separate occasions, where our dogs needed urgent medical attention. Despite the clinic being open, we were told they were too busy and did not have availability to see them. I understand veterinary offices have busy schedules, but after being loyal clients for over a decade, it's disappointing when you cannot rely on your veterinarian to accommodate your pets when they need care the most. Additionally, we have seen significant increases in their pricing over the past few years. While I understand the cost of veterinary care has increased everywhere, the combination of substantially higher prices and the inability to accommodate longtime clients when their pets are sick has been particularly disappointing. What really stood out was contacting another local veterinary practice on an extremely busy Saturday and finding that they were willing to make room for our dog, despite us not even being established clients. After more than a decade, we expected better. Unfortunately, we no longer have confidence that ABC Pet Clinic will be there when our pets need them, and we have decided to take our business elsewhere.

I called this clinic to inquire about scheduling an appointment, and unfortunately, the interaction with the receptionist was extremely disappointing. The second I mentioned that i had a bird, she became very dismissive. I explained that I was calling because their information online states that they see birds. She placed me on a brief hold to confirm, then came back on the line and said, " I just confirmed, we definitely don't take birds. Have a good day," and immediately hung up on me. I completely understand that not every vet clinic treats exotic birds, and I have no issue with that. My issue is how the call was handled. A simple, polite explanation, or even a recommendation for another exotic clinic in the area would have been appreciated. Instead, I was made to feel like my question was dumb and and inconvenient. If your online information states that you treat birds but that is no longer the case, it should be updated so pet owners aren't wasting their time calling. More importantly, basic courtesy and professionalism should be expected when someone is simply trying to find appropriate care for their pet.
